  • ASP.NET MVC URL/Routing question

    Hello! I am an MVC newbie. I'm trying to get my URLs to look like this: /Corporate/Users/Edit/1 /Corporate/Stores/Edit/17 /Corporate/Contacts/Edit/17 /Store/Contacts/Create /Store/Products/Edit/29 Pretty much like plain-vanilla urls, except with a user type at the front. I'm running into a lot of problems with duplicate controller names, etc. Is there a simple way to do this? I looked briefly at Areas, but this seemed way to complicated.

  • Shared Hudson installation - how to enable access to git over ssh?

    We are trying to set up a Hudson server and share it between different projects. Hudson authenticates users against our Windows domain AD, and the project based security matrix makes it easy to manage who can access which projects. Remaining issue is, that most of the projects use git over ssh. Is there a way to make shared Hudson access git so that each project could create their and manage their own jobs without compromising security?

  • Where are Silverlight assemblies stored when a xap file is run?

    We currently have a XAP file which contains Foo.dll, and another XAP file (with a completely different name) which contains an updated version Foo.dll (but the same version number). When we run the second XAP file, it looks as though the Silverlight runtime on the client, is picking up the old version of Foo.dll from the first XAP file. Anyone know where the Silverlight runtime unzips the xap file before running its content? Or if the runtime executes on a single app domain which could explain these errors?

    I've been looking all over for a simple example of how to have an action (or button) be triggered when the enter key is hit in the text field. Should I subclass the text field? Would I need to set a delegate to call the action I need? Is there a way to catch the event in my main window controller class?     Using ASP.NET MVC, I need to configure my URLs like this: www.foo.com/company : render View Company www.foo.com/company/about : render View Company www.foo.com/company/about/mission : render View Mission If "company" is my controller and "about" is my action, what should be "mission"? For every "folder" (company, about and mission) I have to render a different View. Anyone knows how can I do that? Thanks!

    how can i know what tableview cell was selected?(being in the detail view) The problem is that. I have an table view controller. Here are parsed from the internet entries to the table. So it's a dynamic tabe view that loads from internet. I will not know how many entries will be in the table so i will not know what details view to call when i click a row. So i have maked one view. This view contains an calendar. On this calendar(wich is the detail iew) i will parse data from internet depending on the selected row. For exemple: i have table: entry 1, entry 2,entry 3,entry 4 When i click entry 2 i need to call a php with the argument entry 2. The php will know what entry on the table i have selected and will generate me the correct xml that i will parse.
