  I have an object (Contacts) which has two has_many relationships: Campaign and Company When I am in the Campaign view, I want to add a Contact. But without a Company_Id, Controller says cannot find company_id (which needs to be there if I add a Contact through the Company). What should I do?

But when I save the content of the richEditor, no validation message is rendered if the richEditor is blank. The richEditor contains automatically the message : (I use the extension firebug).   Playing around with factories, which I read weren't supposed to hit the database, allowing you to avoid having your controller specs interacting with the DB. But when I fire up the Rails console in test and use a factory to create a sample user, I noticed an actual user gets created in the database. Huh? (Using Rails 2.3.8 and Factory Girl 1.2.3.)

The way I understand it, relational DBs offer some advantages when there is massive amounts of data, and searching an indexing need to be done. To my mind 99% of websites are not massive, and enterprise issues never need to be thought about, so why arn't OO DBs more widely used?

Nothing in any of the tabs will rotate, yet, when you click on a link from a tweet, the view controller that is pushed on top of it IS allowed to rotate. The only rotations I have ever doe is from tilting the device, landscape or portrait, but I don't understand how to use 2d transformations and animations to rotate views.
