  So our app has the option to take either a picture or a video. If the user takes a picture, we can use the MediaStore.Images.Media.insertImage function to add the new image (via a filepath) to the phone's gallery and generate a content:// style URI. Is there a similar process for a captured video, given that we only have it's filepath?

  Hi all, I am creating a blackberry apllication which pre-dominantly uses ObjectListFields..All i need now is to draw an image as a background for each cell. I know this is quiet possible but i am not getting hold of the procedure. if i draw bitmap in drawlistrow() function the bluehighlight gets into the background and the cell highlight becomes very hard to read......can anybody help me with a code snippet to get through this problem ....thanks...

• Any way to cache WAV files in IE?

  I'm seeing an issue with our web application. We have a few wave files which we can play (like ding.wav) and we have attempted to pre-load wave files but using Fiddler we're seeing that the WAV files are never cached like (js and css and image files). We always see an HTTP 200 instead of an HTTP 304. Any ideas on how to tell IE that it should cache wav files? We're inserting a div: <EMBED SRC='ding.wav' AUTOSTART='FALSE' HIDDEN='TRUE'>

  I know that when parsing XML with objective-c most of the time you use NSXMLParser. But what if you only need to read one element. Using NSXMLParser sounds like an overload to me. The issue is that flickr API doesn't use JSON as response when uploading an image.   I want to set a youtube video to 100% width so that it scales appropriately in a dynamic width column on a web page I am designing. The problem is that the height doesn't behave like the height of an image. Instead of scaling proportionately, it either collapses (if set to "auto" or left blank) or it scales seemingly random if set to a percentage. How can I get it to remain proportionate while still dynamic?

• Is it possible to use AnimateWindow with AW_BLEND when using a layered window?

  I am displaying a window using UpdateLayeredWindow and would like to add transition animations. AnimateWindow works if I use the slide or roll effects (though there is some flickering). However, when I try to use AW_BLEND to produce a fade effect, I not only lose any translucency after the animation (per-pixel and on the entire image), but a default window border also appears. Is there a way to prevent the border from appearing?
