• Load Pymacs & Ropemacs only when opening a Python file ?

  I use Pymacs to load Ropemacs and Rope with the following lines in my .emacs as described here. (autoload 'pymacs-load "pymacs" nil t) (pymacs-load "ropemacs" "rope-") It however slowdown the startup of Emacs significantly as it takes a while to load Ropemacs. I tried the following line instead but that loads Ropemacs everytime a Python file opened... (add-hook 'python-mode-hook (lambda () (pymacs-load "ropemacs" "rope-"))) Is there a way to perform the pymacs-load when opening a Python file but only if ropemacs and rope aren't loaded yet?

• UIButton looks good in InterfaceBuilder, but not on iPad sim or device

  In InterfaceBuilder, I'm creating the simplest possible UIButton, by simply dragging from the Library panel into my view. After doing that, I get a nice UIButton that looks like this: When I preview in the simulator, or view on my iPad device, my UIButton has a line underneath it, like this: Anyone else have this problem? Anyone have a fix?

  Hi, many questions are close, but none answers my problem... How do I use reflection in C# 3.5 to get all classes which are static from an assembly. I already get all Types defined, but there is no IsStatic property. Counting 0 constructors is really slow and did not work either. Any tips or a line of code? :-) Chris

  I have a line of text in a textblock that reads: "Detected [gesture] with an accuracy of [accuracy]" In WPF, is it possible for me to be able to change the color of the elements within a textblock? Can I have a textblock be multiple colors? For example, I would like the whole TextBlock to be black except the gesture name, which I would like to be red. Is this possible in WPF?

• What causes a lexical analysis error for eclipse in jsp EL validation?

  I've got some EL code inside of a JSP tag. The line starts as follows: <c:if test="${pageContext.request.serverName eq \'localhost\'}"> Eclipse throws up an error on this, saying: Unable to analyze EL expression due to lexical analysis error I'm unsure what this even means. Is this an eclipse bug? Am I mixing EL and the JSTL tags incorrectly?

• Applying attribute to SVG using JS prompts 'this.textBox.style is undefined'. Why?

  Hi, I'm using the following code to draw an SVG text box, and then change its text anchor attribute to 'left' as it defaults to center and that's nasty. The text generates correctly, but when I add this second line I get the error 'this.textBox.style is undefined' in my error console. I have tried several things at this point including the below but getting no where. This has to be easy, just missing it. • GNU Smalltalk text interface hard to use

  I built GNU Smalltalk from source on my Mac because I couldn't get it working using fink and I found VMs like Squeak hard to understand. When I run the gst command it works fine, but unlike command line interfaces such the Python and Lua ones, it is hard to use because when I use the left or right arrow keys, I want the cursor to move left or right, but instead it inserts text like "^[[D". I understand why it does this but is there any way to fix it so it is more usable?

  I am using very simple code where I have a update panel with some panels inside and a submit button. On submit, i hide one of the panels using this code: panel.Style.Add("display", "none"); I am also using a UpdateProgress which works great in all but this case. When i set the display to none using this code, the UpdateProgress template does not disappear! remove the line, all is well .... No idea why...

  I am trying to load properties from a file (test.properties) The code I use is as follows: URL url = getClass().getResource("../resources/test.properties"); properties.load(url.openStream()); But when executing the second line I get a NPE.   Using iis7, windows 7, asp.net 3.5. I have in my hosts file 127.0.0.1 mysite ::1 mysite I forgot why I added the ::1, but I think it was important. Anyone know what the second line is for? Thanks in advance. Edit One more question. What happens if I leave it out? The web site I'm working on doesn't address via IPv6, at least, not that I know of.
