    This is my function: (defun MyFunction(input) (let ((NEWNUM (find input num))) (if (find input num) //if this (setq num NEWNUM) (FUNCT2) //then execute both of these (list 'not found)))) //else output this So after the if statment I want to be able to execute (setq num NEWNUM) and (FUNCT2). One to set a new variable and then the other to call a function. Any ideas on how to do this?

    KEYEVENTF_SILENT is a constant used in calls like this one: keybd_event(VK_OFF, 0, KEYEVENTF_SILENT, 0); keybd_event(VK_OFF, 0, KEYEVENTF_SILENT | KEYEVENTF_KEYUP, 0); But since I am using .net I don't know what the actual value of KEYEVENTF_SILENT is. I can't call it with out knowing. Any ideas?

    How can I generate types like these using the System.Reflection.Emit libraries: public class Test<T> {} public class Test<T1, T2> {} When I call ModuleBuilder.DefineType(string) with the second type declaration, I get an exception because there is already another type in the module with the same name (I've already defined the type parameter on the first type).     My application does a CreateIC (and later, an OpenPrinter) for the user's default printer. When this is a remote printer, and that printer is powered down or otherwise not present on the network, it takes over 20 seconds for the CreateIC to return. I'm looking for some call I can make that will give me a quick answer if the server is down (so I can return a status and not try to do the CreateIC/OpenPrinter). My environment is c/c++ (non-managed).

    After testing on msvc8, I found: Parse GetCommandLine() to argc and argv Standard C Library initialization C++ Constructor of global variables These three things are called before entering main(). My questions are: Will this execution order be different when I porting my program to different compiler (gcc or armcc), or different platform? What stuff does Standard C Library initialization do? So far I know setlocale() is a must. Is it safe to call standard C functions inside C++ constructor of global variables?
