I really didn't know how to call the topic, but I will try to explain it here.
So, for example, I have 6 queries in one page. Is it possible, that first five of them would be completed and the last one wouldn't be? Is there any possibilities? If there is, what should I do?
Hope you understood smth. Thanks.

Why the first call I(:) returns a vector while the second I(1:2) doesn't which is essentially the same as I(:)?
The cells in my tableview are horizontal UIScrollViews, which I assume is the reason didSelectRowAtIndexPath is not being called. I have my resignFirstResponder call in that method.
Does anyone have an easy way for me to fix this? Is there an alternative to didSelectRowAtIndexPath? Or is there a way to get that method to fire?
Thanks!
public class TestClass{
private String divisions[] ={};
public void doAction(){
Collection testArray = new ArrayList();
// put testArray will data
divisions = (String [] ) testArray.toArray(division); //should i use this
divisions = (String [] ) testArray.toArray(new String [] {}); //should i use this?
}
}
if i use case 1, and i call doaction multiple time, the division, something will show wrong records
if i use case2, divisions will always show the correct records. is my assumption should use case 2?
I forgot the array syntax while on Zsh-commandline:
$ hello=[1,2,3,4] %ERR:
I want to fix the problem by substitution. In Vim, I would do :.s@,@ @g.
So how can I edit the current line, or let call it a current buffer, by running a command on it?
There are 4 items: 1, 2, 3, and 4. If we just allow the following combinations, what should we call them? I forgot it. Is it called nCr?
1 2 3 4
1 2 3
1 2 4
2 3 4
1 2
1 3
1 4
2 3
2 4
3 4
1
2
3
4
I am having problem with setting a new Drawable to my ProgressBar.
If I use the setProgressDrawable() inside onCreate() method it works great. But when I try to call the same method inside a Handler post callback it doesn't work and the progressbar disapears.
Can someone explain this behaviour? How can I solve this problem?
I need to create a custom route to list all the rooms in a given building. So, I want the url to look something like this:
/Building/1000/Room
Which would list all the rooms in Building 1000.
Is this the correct mapping for the route (to call the IndexByBuilding method in RoomController)?
routes.MapRoute(
"RoomsByBuilding",
"Building/{id}/Room",
new { controller = "Room", action = "IndexByBuilding", id = "" }
);
I want to do something which will access network when a QMainWindow is ready.
I suppose I should not do it in the constructor, so I try to find a signal the widget will get and try to implement something like a OnReady() call back in other UI library. But I still can not find a way to do this.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Basically I want to use the WPF Binding framework to "observe" a property in the data context, and when that value changes to call an event handler. I do not actually want to bind it to any target.
Sounds simple but from what I can see Binding is too coupled (to the visual tree and various other bits) to be able to use it flexibly.
Any thoughts?
I want to call require_once("test.php") but not display result and save it into variable like this:
//pseudocode
$test = require_once('test.php');
//some operations like $test = preg_replace(…);
echo $test;
Is it possible?
Mootools classes have an initialize() method that's called when a new object is instantiated.
It seems that setup() is a commonly used method as well.
Most classes I've observed call this.setup() from initialize() and nowhere else, which has left me wondering:
What's the purpose of setup()? Why not just put the setup() code in initialize()? When does it make sense to use a setup() method?
I found ruby class Timeout very useful for my project.
But i need to run a block of code in background and keep it under a timeout..
For example
Timeout::timeout(2) { block.call }
How to do that?
Is there an easy way to get a summary string of the errors that have been added to a controller's modelstate?
I'm looking to return this in an Ajax method and want the validation errors etc to be returned to the client (i.e. the view does not exist for this method call).
Or do I have to loop through the modelstate and look at each object and extract the error text manually?
Hi,
i call a controller action in a unit test.
ViewResult result = c.Index(null,null) as ViewResult;
I cast the result to a ViewResult, because that is what i'm returning in the controller:
return View(model);
But how can i access this model variable in my unit test?
I saw these lines in a demo project, but I couldn't understand why it did that.
[self willChangeValueForKey:@"names"];
[self didChangeValueForKey:@"names"];
It called didChangeValueForKey immediately after willChangeeValueForKey.
Does it make any sense?
Furthermore, when should be the right time to call this two methods?
Thanks a lot!! :)
I writing REST API form my web application. Application is written using CodeIgniter framework. Application itself is working fine, but I'm stuck on making REST Authentication. I think that basic Http Authentication will be good enough for some time. Public API is not yet planned.
Is there any code example how to achieve REST Authentication so after user is authenticated he can freely call all protected methods.
Can someone provide a good example of multiple UpdatePanels being updated by a singe Dynamic Populate extender? Is there some way to have one UpdatePanel trigger another to make a call and subsequently update another UpdatePanel?
Hi,
Is there a way to know if a remote object implements an interface (I cannot change/add methods to the remote object).
Indeed I cannot use a IsAssignableFrom nor the "as" to test since it's a remote object. Then I have an exception when I try to call a non implemented methods.
Thx
When I call GetProperties() on a type, the properties are ordered as they are written in the source code. This is very handy but my question is, if this is a guaranteed behavior or may this change depending on the runtime version and the environment. Does anyone know something about that?
If I want to create my own class MyWidget which inherits from QWidget
Tutorial tells me to write constructor like this...
MyWidget::MyWidget(QWidget *parent)
: QWidget(parent){....}
I'm wondering what is the role of : QWidget(parent)
Does it mean explicit call for QWidget's constructor?
It does not appear to be possible to call Windows system commands (e.g. del, move, etc) using GNU Make.
When the following rule is run, an error is reported del: command not found:
clean:
del *.o
This is presumably because there is no such execuatable as "del". I've also tried running it as an option to cmd but with this only seems to open a new prompt:
clean:
cmd /C del *.o
I'm using GNU Make 3.79.1 that is bundled as part of MSys.
