  • vshost.exe file in Release folder?

    Why there is a appname.vshost.exe file generated for the release version of my application? I might add that I'm using an external dll library and some unsafe code. What's even more interesting, my application launched from Release folder does not work correctly (it works OK when launched from Debug folder). It's bit hard to explain - feel free to ask if you need more info.

    Hello, I need to have a progress bar that responds to the percent complete of a download in cocoa. I think this might use things like NSProgressindicator and possibly NSTask. I'm not sure if theres an "official" method to download file in cocoa because up until now I just used curl with NSTask. Thanks for any replies.

But I want to capture this information in string. How do I do this? Currently I am using: lb3.Text = Page.Request.PhysicalPath; And it gives me: Text = "C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\My Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects\AddFileToSQL\AddFileToSQL\Default.aspx"

  • What's the fastest way to determine if a file adheres to a particular class's NSCoding implementatio

    Given: An application that accesses a directory of files: some plain text, some binary files that adhere to a particular NSCoding implementation, and perhaps other binary files it simply doesn't understand how to process. I want to be able to figure out which of the files in that directory adhere to my NSCoding class, and I'd prefer not to have to fall back on the naïve approach of loading the entirety of each file into memory, attempting to unarchive each. Anyone have an elegant approach or pattern to this problem?

    The full error is: Message: Mysqli statement execute error : Can't create/write to file '/var/www/zendApp/backup/mysql/1268733580_name.sql' (Errcode: 13) I have tried several things already with the /var/www/ZendApp/backup/mysql directory $chmod 777 mysql $chmod 1777 mysql $chown root:root mysql $chown mysql:mysql mysql But nothing helps. What am I doing wrong here? Do I have to tell mysql somewhere that I can write to that directory?

Can I just run ./my_program >> filename on every machine or is there an issue with concurrency I should be aware of?     I have a SQL and VS 2008 web application that I need to capture the full file path (directories and file name) from the selected file on the client computer. So user selects a file and then clicks on one of the buttons which transfers control to my code for processing. So how do I get its file path? I can get the file name, but not the path. Maybe problem is that while testing this web app, I am using the server instead of client machine. And I learned that on a server you cannot read the full file path due to security concerns. Is this true? If I just want this to work on client machine, which method/class do you recommend? And then how can I test it? My web app allows the user to select an input file and then map columns from the input .MDF file with columns from the selected Adventureworks table. Finally, after they click on the "Append" button, it adds rows from the input file to that table. So I want to capture the path info after they click this button.

  • Refactor file copy in Visual Studio?

    Does Visual Studio / Resharper support this? By refactor copy I mean to be able to enter new class name in some dialog, and to have the tool do all the refactoring (renaming) for you. No Copy of ... file names, and no error upon having two classes with same name in the project. Netbeans does this out-of-the-box :(
