  • Webpage data scraping using Java

    - by Gemma
    I am now trying to implement a simple HTML webpage scraper using Java.Now I have a small problem. Suppose I have the following HTML fragment. <div id="sr-h-left" class="sr-comp"> <a class="link-gray-underline" id="compare_header" rel="nofollow" href="javascript:i18nCompareProd('/serv/main/buyer/ProductCompare.jsp?nxtg=41980a1c051f-0942A6ADCF43B802');"> <span style="cursor: pointer;" class="sr-h-o">Compare</span> </a> </div> <div id="sr-h-right" class="sr-summary"> <div id="sr-num-results"> <div class="sr-h-o-r">Showing 1 - 30 of 1,439 matches, The data I am interested is the integer 1.439 shown at the bottom.I am just wondering how can I get that integer out of the HTML. I am now considering using a regular expression,and then use the java.util.Pattern to help get the data out,but still not very clear about the process. I would be grateful if you guys could give me some hint or idea on this data scraping. Thanks a lot.

  • Django: Save data from form in DB

    - by Anry
    I have a model: class Cost(models.Model): project = models.ForeignKey(Project) cost = models.FloatField() date = models.DateField() For the model I created a class form: class CostForm(ModelForm): class Meta: model = Cost fields = ['date', 'cost'] view.py: def cost(request, offset): if request.method == 'POST': #HOW save data in DB? return HttpResponseRedirect('/') else: form = CostForm() In the template file determined: <form action="/cost/{{ project }}/" method="post" accept-charset="utf-8"> <label for="date">Date:</label><input type="text" name="date" value={{ current_date }} id="date" /> <label for="cost">Cost:</label><input type="text" name="cost" value="0" id="cost" /> <p><input type="submit" value="Add"></p> </form> How save data from form in DB? P.S. offset = project name Model: class Project(models.Model): title = models.CharField(max_length=150) url = models.URLField() manager = models.ForeignKey(User) timestamp = models.DateTimeField() I tried to write: def cost(request, offset): if request.method == 'POST': form = CostForm(request.POST) if form.is_valid(): instance = form.save(commit=False) instance.project = Project.objects.filter(title=offset) instance.date = request.date instance.cost = request.cost instance.save() return HttpResponseRedirect('/') else: form = CostForm() But it does not work :(

  • "Inherited" types using CRTP and typedef

  • Using Javascript to submit forms.

    - by Razor Storm
    I am using a jQuery function to submit a form when a certain button is pressed, however this seems to have no effect on the form. My code is as follows: HTML: <form id="loginForm" action="" method="POST"> <input class="loginInput" type="hidden" name="action" value="login"> <input id="step1a" class="loginInput" type="text" name="username"> <input id="step2a" class="loginInput" type="password" name="password" style="display:none;"> <input id="step1b" class="loginSubmit" onclick="loginProceed();" type="button" name="submit" value="Proceed" title="Proceed" /> <input id="step2b" class="loginSubmit" onclick="submitlogin();" type="button" value="Validate" title="Validate" style="display:none;" /> Javascript: function submitlogin() { $("form").submit(); } However, when I press the button, absolutely nothing occurs. PS. This function may seem meaningless since I can just use a input type="submit" but I originally intended this to have some more functionality, I stripped the function to its bare bones for testing purposes.

  • Which cast am I using?

    - by Knowing me knowing you
    I'm trying to cast away const from an object but it doesn't work. But if I use old C-way of casting code compiles. So which casting I'm suppose to use to achieve this same effect? I wouldn't like to cast the old way. //file IntSet.h #include "stdafx.h" #pragma once /*Class representing set of integers*/ template<class T> class IntSet { private: T** myData_; std::size_t mySize_; std::size_t myIndex_; public: #pragma region ctor/dtor explicit IntSet(); virtual ~IntSet(); #pragma endregion #pragma region publicInterface IntSet makeUnion(const IntSet&)const; IntSet makeIntersection(const IntSet&)const; IntSet makeSymmetricDifference(const IntSet&)const; void insert(const T&); #pragma endregion }; //file IntSet_impl.h #include "StdAfx.h" #include "IntSet.h" #pragma region ctor/dtor template<class T> IntSet<T>::IntSet():myData_(nullptr), mySize_(0), myIndex_(0) { } IntSet<T>::~IntSet() { } #pragma endregion #pragma region publicInterface template<class T> void IntSet<T>::insert(const T& obj) { /*Check if we are initialized*/ if (mySize_ == 0) { mySize_ = 1; myData_ = new T*[mySize_]; } /*Check if we have place to insert obj in.*/ if (myIndex_ < mySize_) {//IS IT SAFE TO INCREMENT myIndex while assigning? myData_[myIndex_++] = &T(obj);//IF I DO IT THE OLD WAY IT WORKS return; } /*We didn't have enough place...*/ T** tmp = new T*[mySize_];//for copying old to temporary basket std::copy(&myData_[0],&myData_[mySize_],&tmp[0]); } #pragma endregion Thanks.

  • Button click event

    - by Malcolm
    I am binding an object of other class to a silverlight list box itemsource.I want to fire the click event of a button,but I don't want to define command under this class. I have defined other class and have defined command inside it. Now the question is how to bind the command of this class to the command property of that button. There are two classes A and B I am binding the item source of a listbox to A and i have defined a command in B and i need this command to bind with the button present inside the listbox.(ie..listbox-listboxitem-button) Is there any way to bind to a property outside of the current data context?

  • GCC: Simple inheritance test fails

    - by knight666
    I'm building an open source 2D game engine called YoghurtGum. Right now I'm working on the Android port, using the NDK provided by Google. I was going mad because of the errors I was getting in my application, so I made a simple test program: class Base { public: Base() { } virtual ~Base() { } }; // class Base class Vehicle : virtual public Base { public: Vehicle() : Base() { } ~Vehicle() { } }; // class Vehicle class Car : public Vehicle { public: Car() : Base(), Vehicle() { } ~Car() { } }; // class Car int main(int a_Data, char** argv) { Car* stupid = new Car(); return 0; } Seems easy enough, right? Here's how I compile it, which is the same way I compile the rest of my code: /home/oem/android-ndk-r3/build/prebuilt/linux-x86/arm-eabi-4.4.0/bin/arm-eabi-g++ -g -std=c99 -Wall -Werror -O2 -w -shared -fshort-enums -I ../../YoghurtGum/src/GLES -I ../../YoghurtGum/src -I /home/oem/android-ndk-r3/build/platforms/android-5/arch-arm/usr/include -c src/Inheritance.cpp -o intermediate/Inheritance.o (Line breaks are added for clarity). This compiles fine. But then we get to the linker: /home/oem/android-ndk-r3/build/prebuilt/linux-x86/arm-eabi-4.4.0/bin/arm-eabi-gcc -lstdc++ -Wl, --entry=main, -rpath-link=/system/lib, -rpath-link=/home/oem/android-ndk-r3/build/platforms/android-5/arch-arm/usr/lib, -dynamic-linker=/system/bin/linker, -L/home/oem/android-ndk-r3/build/prebuilt/linux-x86/arm-eabi-4.4.0/lib/gcc/arm-eabi/4.4.0, -L/home/oem/android-ndk-r3/build/platforms/android-5/arch-arm/usr/lib, -rpath=../../YoghurtGum/lib/GLES -nostdlib -lm -lc -lGLESv1_CM -z /home/oem/android-ndk-r3/build/platforms/android-5/arch-arm/usr/lib/crtbegin_dynamic.o /home/oem/android-ndk-r3/build/platforms/android-5/arch-arm/usr/lib/crtend_android.o intermediate/Inheritance.o ../../YoghurtGum/bin/YoghurtGum.a -o bin/Galaxians.android As you can probably tell, there's a lot of cruft in there that isn't really needed. That's because it doesn't work. It fails with the following errors: intermediate/Inheritance.o:(.rodata._ZTI3Car[typeinfo for Car]+0x0): undefined reference to `vtable for __cxxabiv1::__si_class_type_info' intermediate/Inheritance.o:(.rodata._ZTI7Vehicle[typeinfo for Vehicle]+0x0): undefined reference to `vtable for __cxxabiv1::__vmi_class_type_info' intermediate/Inheritance.o:(.rodata._ZTI4Base[typeinfo for Base]+0x0): undefined reference to `vtable for __cxxabiv1::__class_type_info' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [bin/Galaxians.android] Fout 1 These are the same errors I get from my actual application. If someone could explain to me where I went wrong in my test or what option or I forgot in my linker, I would be very, extremely grateful. Thanks in advance. UPDATE: When I make my destructors non-inlined, I get new and more exciting link errors: intermediate/Inheritance.o:(.rodata+0x78): undefined reference to `vtable for __cxxabiv1::__si_class_type_info' intermediate/Inheritance.o:(.rodata+0x90): undefined reference to `vtable for __cxxabiv1::__vmi_class_type_info' intermediate/Inheritance.o:(.rodata+0xb0): undefined reference to `vtable for __cxxabiv1::__class_type_info' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [bin/Galaxians.android] Fout 1

  • jQuery UI draggable() and resizable()

    - by foxlance
    I want to write the draggable() and resizable() code in such a way that all future elements with a particular class will inherit those plugins without calling them again. $('div.resizeMe').resizable({ containment: 'parent', minWidth: 400, minHeight: 200 }) When the above code is executed, all divs with resizeMe class inherits the resizable() function. But if I appended BODY with a new div with the same class, I needed to execute that code again. So my goal here is how to rewrite that code such that it will work for all and including future elements.

  • Final classes in Python 3.x- something Guido isn't telling me?

    - by GlenCrawford
    This question is built on top of many assumptions. If one assumption is wrong, then the whole thing falls over. I'm still relatively new to Python and have just entered the curious/exploratory phase. It is my understanding that Python does not support the creating of classes that cannot be subclassed (final classes). However, it seems to me that the bool class in Python cannot be subclassed. This makes sense when the intent of the bool class is considered (because bool is only supposed to have two values: true and false), and I'm happy with that. What I want to know is how this class was marked as final. So my question is: how exactly did Guido manage to prevent subclassing of bool? >>> class TestClass(bool): pass Traceback (most recent call last): File "<pyshell#2>", line 1, in <module> class TestClass(bool): TypeError: type 'bool' is not an acceptable base type Related question: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2172189/why-i-cant-extend-bool-in-python

  • Design problem with callback functions in android

    - by Franz Xaver
    Hi folks! I'm currently developing an app in android that is accessing wifi values, that is, the application needs to scan for all access point and their specific signal strengths. I know that I have to extend the class BroadcastReceiver overwriting the method BroadcastReceiver.onReceive(Context context, Intent intent) which is called when the values are ready. Perhaps there exist solutions provided by the android system itself but I'm relatively new to android so I could need some help. The problem I encountered is that I got one class (an activity, thus controlled by the user) that needs this scan results for two different things (first to save the values in a database or second, to use them for further calculations but not both at one moment!) So how to design the callback system in order to "transport" the scan results from onReceive(Context context, Intent intent) to the operation intended by the user? My first solution was to define enums for each use case (save or use for calculations) which wlan-interested classes have to submit when querying for the values. But that would force the BroadcastReceiverextending class to save the current enum and use it as a parameter in the callback function of the querying class (this querying class needs to know what it asked for when getting backcalled) But that seems to me kind of dirty ;) So anyone a good idea for this?

  • “Could not find type” error loading a form in the Designer

    - by Vaccano
    This is the exact same question as this one: “Could not find type” error loading a form in the Designer Before anyone goes closing my question please read that one. You will realize that it did not get a real answer. I hope to get a full answer (rather than a workaround) from this question. When I create a class that descends from Control and uses generics, that class fails to load in the designer. Here is and example: class OwnerDrawnListBox<T> : System.Windows.Forms.Control { private readonly List<T> _items; // Other list box private stuff here public OwnerDrawnListBox() { _items = new List<T>(); } // More List box code } I then use this in my designer: private OwnerDrawnListBox<Bag> lstAvailable; private void InitializeComponent() { // Used to be System.Windows.Forms.ListBox(); this.lstAvailable = new ARUP.ScanTrack.Mobile.OwnerDrawnListBox<Bag>(); // Other items } If the generic class is subclassed (to a non-generic) then the referenced question says that it works fine (ie if I made Class BagOwnerDrawListBox: OwnerDrawnListBox<Bag>). What I want to know is there a way to "fix" this so that the generic item is accepted by the designer? Side Note: I am using the Compact Framework.

  • [hibernate - jpa] @CollectionOfElements without create the apposite table

    - by blow
    Hi all. I have this: Municipality class @Entity public class Municipality implements Serializable { @Id @GeneratedValue(strategy=GenerationType.IDENTITY) private Long id; private String country; private String province; private String name; @Column(name="cod_catasto") private String codCatastale; private String cap; @CollectionOfElements private List<Address> addressList; public Municipality() { } ... Address class @Embeddable public class Address implements Serializable { @ManyToOne(fetch=FetchType.LAZY) @Cascade(CascadeType.SAVE_UPDATE) private Municipality municipality; @Column(length=45) private String address; public Address() { } ... Address is embedded in another class Person. When i save an instance of Person, hibernate create 3 tables: PERSON, MUNICIPALITY and MUNICIPALITY_ADDRESSLIST. MUNICIPALITY_ADDRESSLIST contains 2 fields: MUNICIPALITY_ID (FK) and STREET. I don't want this table, i only want the ID of table MUNICIPALITY into table PERSON(that embeds Address), what should i do? I tried to add @JoinTable in Municipality entity like this: @CollectionOfElements @JoinTable(name="person") private List<Address> addressList; It partially worked, but i cant choose the column name of table PERSON that contains ID of the table MUNICIPALITY, it is, by hibernate choose, simply "MUNICIPALITY_ID"... Thbaks.

  • How to show percentage of 'memory used' in a win32 process?

    - by pj4533
    I know that memory usage is a very complex issue on Windows. I am trying to write a UI control for a large application that shows a 'percentage of memory used' number, in order to give the user an indication that it may be time to clear up some memory, or more likely restart the application. One implementation used ullAvailVirtual from MEMORYSTATUSEX as a base, then used HeapWalk() to walk the process heap looking for additional free memory. The HeapWalk() step was needed because we noticed that after a while of running the memory allocated and freed by the heap was never returned and reported by the ullAvailVirtual number. After hours of intensive working, the ullAvailVirtual number no longer would accurately report the amount of memory available. However, this method proved not ideal, due to occasional odd errors that HeapWalk() would return, even when the process heap was not corrupted. Further, since this is a UI control, the heap walking code was executing every 5-10 seconds. I tried contacting Microsoft about why HeapWalk() was failing, escalated a case via MSDN, but never got an answer other than "you probably shouldn't do that". So, as a second implementation, I used PagefileUsage from PROCESS_MEMORY_COUNTERS as a base. Then I used VirtualQueryEx to walk the virtual address space adding up all regions that weren't MEM_FREE and returned a value for GetMappedFileNameA(). My thinking was that the PageFileUsage was essentially 'private bytes' so if I added to that value the total size of the DLLs my process was using, it would be a good approximation of the amount of memory my process was using. This second method seems to (sorta) work, at least it doesn't cause crashes like the heap walker method. However, when both methods are enabled, the values are not the same. So one of the methods is wrong. So, StackOverflow world...how would you implement this? which method is more promising, or do you have a third, better method? should I go back to the original method, and further debug the odd errors? should I stay away from walking the heap every 5-10 seconds? Keep in mind the whole point is to indicate to the user that it is getting 'dangerous', and they should either free up memory or restart the application. Perhaps a 'percentage used' isn't the best solution to this problem? What is? Another idea I had was a color based system (red, yellow, green, which I could base on more factors than just a single number)

  • Setting nested object to null when selected option has empty value

    - by Javi
    Hello, I have a Class which models a User and another which models his country. Something like this: public class User{ private Country country; //other attributes and getter/setters } public class Country{ private Integer id; private String name; //other attributes and getter/setters } I have a Spring form where I have a combobox so the user can select his country or can select the undefined option to indicate he doen't want to provide this information. So I have something like this: <form:select path="country"> <form:option value="">-Select one-</form:option> <form:options items="${countries}" itemLabel="name" itemValue="id"/> </form:select> In my controller I get the autopopulated object with the user information and I want to have country set to null when the "-Select one-" option has been selected. So I have set a initBinder with a custom editor like this: @InitBinder protected void initBinder(WebDataBinder binder) throws ServletException { binder.registerCustomEditor(Country.class, "country", new CustomCountryEditor()); } and my editor do something like this: public class CustomCountryEditor(){ @Override public String getAsText() { //I return the Id of the country } @Override public void setAsText(String str) { //I search in the database for a country with id = new Integer(str) //and set country to that value //or I set country to null in case str == null } } When I submit the form it works because when I have country set to null when I have selected "-Select one-" option or the instance of the country selected. The problem is that when I load the form I have a method like the following one to load the user information. @ModelAttribute("user") public User getUser(){ //loads user from database } The object I get from getUser() has country set to a specific country (not a null value), but in the combobox is not selected any option. I've debugged the application and the CustomCountryEditor works good when setting and getting the text, thoughgetAsText method is called for every item in the list "countries" not only for the "country" field. Any idea? Is there a better way to set null the country object when I select no country option in the combobox? Thanks

  • LINQ "table" variable

    - by Cat
    I'm trying to turn a method I have right now into a more "generic" method that returns a string. Right now, the method uses a statement like this: var app = (from d in testContext.DAPPs where d.sserID == (Guid)user.ProviderUserKey select d).ToList(); I process the results of "app", add extra text etc. The piece that changes (that I need to make more "generic") is the table name (DAPPs). Is there a way I can do that, or, a better way to go around this all together?

  • One-to-many relationship with JDO in Google App Engine

  • Ruby and duck typing: design by contract impossible?

    - by davetron5000
    Method signature in Java: public List<String> getFilesIn(List<File> directories) similar one in ruby def get_files_in(directories) In the case of Java, the type system gives me information about what the method expects and delivers. In Ruby's case, I have no clue what I'm supposed to pass in, or what I'll expect to receive. In Java, the object must formally implement the interface. In Ruby, the object being passed in must respond to whatever methods are called in the method defined here. This seems highly problematic: Even with 100% accurate, up-to-date documentation, the Ruby code has to essentially expose its implementation, breaking encapsulation. "OO purity" aside, this would seem to be a maintenance nightmare. The Ruby code gives me no clue what's being returned; I would have to essentially experiment, or read the code to find out what methods the returned object would respond to. Not looking to debate static typing vs duck typing, but looking to understand how you maintain a production system where you have almost no ability to design by contract. Update No one has really addressed the exposure of a method's internal implementation via documentation that this approach requires. Since there are no interfaces, if I'm not expecting a particular type, don't I have to itemize every method I might call so that the caller knows what can be passed in? Or is this just an edge case that doesn't really come up?

  • jQuery validation plugin - removing elements

    - by d3020
    I'm using the jQuery validation plugin. On most of my input type... tags I have class='required'. When I submit the page, via JavaScript, the controls on the page that have this class are found. However, there are a handful of checkboxes that I don't need to validate. I've tried removing the class code completely from the input tag, also tried class='cancel', and class='required:false. When doing any of those things though when the form submits it can't find the checkbox control. How do I still keep the ability to do Request.Form and find my checkbox object but at the same time when the form submits don't apply validation to this particular control. Thank you. Edit here. This is what I'm using without the "checked" code and ternary operator. In my input tag I'm calling a function like this... sb.Append(" " + crlf); Inside that function is where I check for the True or False coming back, like this. case "chkFlashedCarton": strResultValue = pst.FlashedCarton.ToString(); if (strResultValue == "True") { strResultValue = " checked"; } break; strResultValue is what is returned back. Does this help to see? Thank you.

  • Double buffering C#

    - by LmSNe
    Hey, I'm trying to implement the following method: void Ball::DrawOn(Graphics g); The method should draw all previous locations(stored in a queue) of the ball and finally the current location. I don't know if that matters, but I print the previous locations using g.DrawEllipse(...) and the current location using g.FillEllipse(...). The question is, that as you could imagine there is a lot of drawing to be done and thus the display starts to flicker much. I had searched for a way to double buffer, but all I could find is these 2 ways: 1) System.Windows.Forms.Control.DoubleBuffered = true; 2) SetStyle(ControlStyles.DoubleBuffer | ControlStyles.UserPaint | ControlStyles.AllPaintingInWmPaint, true); while trying to use the first, I get the an error explaining that from in this method the Property DoubleBuffered is inaccessible due to its protection level. While I can't figure how to use the SetStyle method. Is it possible at all to double buffer while all the access I have is to the Graphics Object I get as input in the method? Thanks in Advance,

  • Computed properties in NHibernate

    - by Liron Levi
    I'm having a problem in mapping an existing data class member to the database.. I have a database table where one of the columns is a string type, but actually stores a comma separated list of numbers. My data class shows this field as a list of integers. The problem is that I couldn't find any hook in NHibernate that allows me to invoke the custom code that is required to replace the string field by the list and vice versa. To illustrate (simplified of course): The database table: CREATE TABLE dummy ( id serial, numlist text -- (can store values such as '1,2,3') ) The data class: class Dummy { public int Id; public List<int> NumbersList; } Can anyone help?

  • Memory usage in Flash / Flex / AS3

    - by ggambett
    I'm having some trouble with memory management in a flash app. Memory usage grows quite a bit, and I've tracked it down to the way I load assets. I embed several raster images in a class Embedded, like this [Embed(source="/home/gabriel/text_hard.jpg")] public static var ASSET_text_hard_DOT_jpg : Class; I then instance the assets this way var pClass : Class = Embedded[sResource] as Class; return new pClass() as Bitmap; At this point, memory usage goes up, which is perfectly normal. However, nulling all the references to the object doesn't free the memory. Based on this behavior, looks like the flash player is creating an instance of the class the first time I request it, but never ever releases it - not without references, calling System.gc(), doing the double LocalConnection trick, or calling dispose() on the BitmapData objects. Of course, this is very undesirable - memory usage would grow until everything in the SWFs is instanced, regardless of whether I stopped using some asset long ago. Is my analysis correct? Can anything be done to fix this?

  • Spring's JMS Design Question : Decouple processing of messages

    - by java_pill
    I'm using a message listener to process some messages from MQ based on Spring's DefaultMessageListenerContainer. After I receive a message, I have to make a Web Service (WS) call. However, I don't want to do this in the onMessage method because it would block the onMessage method until the invocation of WS is successful and this introduces latency in dequeuing of messages from the queue. How can I decouple the invocation of the Web Service by calling it outside of the onMesage method or without impacting the dequeuing of messages? Thanks,

  • How to associate static entity instances in a Session without database retrieval

    - by Michael Hedgpeth
    I have a simple Result class that used to be an Enum but has evolved into being its own class with its own table. public class Result { public static readonly Result Passed = new Result(StatusType.Passed) { Id = [Predefined] }; public static readonly Result NotRun = new Result(StatusType.NotRun) { Id = [Predefined] }; public static readonly Result Running = new Result(StatusType.Running) { Id = [Predefined] }; } Each of these predefined values has a row in the database at their predefined Guid Id. There is then a failed result that has an instance per failure: public class FailedResult : Result { public FailedResult(string description) : base(StatusType.Failed) { . . . } } I then have an entity that has a Result: public class Task { public Result Result { get; set; } } When I save a Task, if the Result is a predefined one, I want NHibernate to know that it doesn't need to save that to the database, nor does it need to fetch it from the database; I just want it to save by Id. The way I get around this is when I am setting up the session, I call a method to load the static entities: protected override void OnSessionOpened(ISession session) { LockStaticResults(session, Result.Passed, Result.NotRun, Result.Running); } private static void LockStaticResults(ISession session, params Result[] results) { foreach (var result in results) { session.Load(result, result.Id); } } The problem with the session.Load method call is it appears to be fetching to the database (something I don't want to do). How could I make this so it does not fetch the database, but trusts that my static (immutable) Result instances are both up to date and a part of the session?

  • Android: How/where to put gesture code into IME?

    - by CardinalFIB
    Hi, I'm new to Android but I'm trying to create an IME that allows for gesture-character recognition. I can already do simple apps that perform gesture recognition but am not sure where to hook in the gesture views/obj with an IME. Here is a starting skeleton of what I have for the IME so far. I would like to use android.gesture.Gesture/Prediction/GestureOverlayView/OnGesturePerformedListener. Does anyone have advice? -- CardinalFIB gestureIME.java public class gestureIME extends InputMethodService { private static Keyboard keyboard; private static KeyboardView kView; private int lastDisplayWidth; @Override public void onCreate() { super.onCreate(); } @Override public void onInitializeInterface() { int displayWidth; if (keyboard != null) { displayWidth = getMaxWidth(); if (displayWidth == lastDisplayWidth) return; else lastDisplayWidth = getMaxWidth(); } keyboard = new GestureKeyboard(this, R.xml.keyboard); } @Override public View onCreateInputView() { kView = (KeyboardView) getLayoutInflater().inflate(R.layout.input, null); kView.setOnKeyboardActionListener(kListener); kView.setKeyboard(keyboard); return kView; } @Override public View onCreateCandidatesView() { return null; } @Override public void onStartInputView(EditorInfo attribute, boolean restarting) { super.onStartInputView(attribute, restarting); kView.setKeyboard(keyboard); kView.closing(); //what does this do??? } @Override public void onStartInput(EditorInfo attribute, boolean restarting) { super.onStartInput(attribute, restarting); } @Override public void onFinishInput() { super.onFinishInput(); } public KeyboardView.OnKeyboardActionListener kListener = new KeyboardView.OnKeyboardActionListener() { @Override public void onKey(int keyCode, int[] otherKeyCodes) { if(keyCode==Keyboard.KEYCODE_CANCEL) handleClose(); if(keyCode==10) getCurrentInputConnection().commitText(String.valueOf((char) keyCode), 1); //keyCode RETURN } @Override public void onPress(int primaryCode) {} // TODO Auto-generated method stub @Override public void onRelease(int primaryCode) {} // TODO Auto-generated method stub @Override public void onText(CharSequence text) {} // TODO Auto-generated method stub @Override public void swipeDown() {} // TODO Auto-generated method stub @Override public void swipeLeft() {} // TODO Auto-generated method stub @Override public void swipeRight() {} // TODO Auto-generated method stub @Override public void swipeUp() {} // TODO Auto-generated method stub }; private void handleClose() { requestHideSelf(0); kView.closing(); } } GestureKeyboard.java package com.android.jt.gestureIME; import android.content.Context; import android.inputmethodservice.Keyboard; public class GestureKeyboard extends Keyboard { public GestureKeyboard(Context context, int xmlLayoutResId) { super(context, xmlLayoutResId); } } GesureKeyboardView.java package com.android.jt.gestureIME; import android.content.Context; import android.inputmethodservice.KeyboardView; import android.inputmethodservice.Keyboard.Key; import android.util.AttributeSet; public class GestureKeyboardView extends KeyboardView { public GestureKeyboardView(Context context, AttributeSet attrs) { super(context, attrs); } public GestureKeyboardView(Context context, AttributeSet attrs, int defStyle) { super(context, attrs, defStyle); } @Override protected boolean onLongPress(Key key) { return super.onLongPress(key); } } keyboard.xml <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <Keyboard xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:keyWidth="10%p" android:horizontalGap="0px" android:verticalGap="0px" android:keyHeight="@dimen/key_height" > <Row android:rowEdgeFlags="bottom"> <Key android:codes="-3" android:keyLabel="Close" android:keyWidth="20%p" android:keyEdgeFlags="left"/> <Key android:codes="10" android:keyLabel="Return" android:keyWidth="20%p" android:keyEdgeFlags="right"/> </Row> </Keyboard> input.xml <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <com.android.jt.gestureIME.GestureKeyboardView xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:id="@+id/gkeyboard" android:layout_alignParentBottom="true" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="wrap_content" />
