    - by David

Of course, the localhost works in IE and I don't know why testwebapp doesn't work. Any ideas? TIA! David

MVC3 projects getting created just fine. I get this error when running the Web Installer for MVC4 Beta. System setup is VS2010 SP1, Windows 7 64-bit, Resharper is installed as well I am at a loss here and now seem to be just wasting time trying to fix this.

  • The Command "File.BatchNewTeamProject" is not available in VSTS 2010

    - by TS
    Hi, I am trying to automate the creation of team projects using a command built into VS 2010 called File.BatchNewTeamProject using a project settings file as an argument, and executing this as a process silently in the background from my c# win app. I am aware of a requirement that Team Explorer has to be open and connected to TFS before this command can run, however, when I start a process with devenv.exe, a fresh instance of visual studio pops up with Team Explorer not connected by default. How can I solve this problem?

  • WCF MaxReceivedMessageSize property not taking

    - by Steve Syfuhs
    Searched with no luck... I keep getting The maximum message size quota for incoming messages (65536) has been exceeded. To increase the quota, use the MaxReceivedMessageSize property on the appropriate binding element. It makes sense, so I go into both Server and client config and make the change: Client <system.serviceModel> <bindings> <basicHttpBinding> <binding name="BasicHttpBinding_IFileUpload" closeTimeout="00:01:00" openTimeout="00:01:00" receiveTimeout="00:10:00" sendTimeout="00:01:00" transferMode="Streamed" messageEncoding="Text" maxBufferSize="65536" maxReceivedMessageSize="67108864"> </binding> </basicHttpBinding> </bindings> <client> <endpoint address="http://localhost/services/FileUpload.svc" binding="basicHttpBinding" bindingConfiguration="BasicHttpBinding_IFileUpload" contract="CFTW.FileUpload.IFileUpload" name="BasicHttpBinding_IFileUpload" /> </client> </system.serviceModel> Server <system.serviceModel> <behaviors> <serviceBehaviors> <behavior name=""> <serviceMetadata httpGetEnabled="true" /> <serviceDebug includeExceptionDetailInFaults="false" /> </behavior> </serviceBehaviors> </behaviors> <bindings> <basicHttpBinding> <binding name="BasicHttpBinding_IFileUpload" transferMode="Streamed" messageEncoding="Text" maxBufferSize="67108864" maxBufferPoolSize="67108864" maxReceivedMessageSize="67108864"> </binding> </basicHttpBinding> </bindings> <services> <service name="BasicHttpBinding_IFileUpload"> <endpoint address="~/services/FileUpload.svc" binding="basicHttpBinding" bindingConfiguration="BasicHttpBinding_IFileUpload" contract="CFTW.FileUpload.IFileUpload"></endpoint> </service> </services> <serviceHostingEnvironment multipleSiteBindingsEnabled="true" /> </system.serviceModel> I'm not sure why it's not working (otherwise I'd fix it:)). It's running on .NET 4.0 RC.

  • Using C# and Repository Factory and the error: The requested database is not defined in configurati

    - by odiseh
    hi I am using Repository factory for visual studio 2008 for a personal project. It generated a class called ProductRepository which inherits from Repository. The ProductRepository has a constructor which gets a database name as string and passes it to its base (I mean Repository ). So when I try to debug my project step by step, I pass my database name to ProductRepository but it raises the following error: The requested database is not defined in configuration. What's wrong?

  • IE8 v8 not changing class for a DOM element despite JS function changing the element attribute

    - by Alfabravo
    I have an on-screen keyboard in order to provide a safer input for passwords. The keyboard itself is placed like this: <div class="teclado_grafico" id="teclado_grafico"> <a class="tecla_teclado" onmousedown="teclaAction( this, 'caja_selector'); return false" style="top: 0px; left: 0px;">Q</a> <a class="tecla_teclado" onmousedown="teclaAction( this, 'caja_selector'); return false" style="top: 0px; left: 28px;">W</a> . . . </div> And it has a "Shift button" which fires a JS function with this (I've already tried all that, indeed): if (obj.innerHTML == "Mayus.") { try { MAYUSCULA_ACTIVADO = !MAYUSCULA_ACTIVADO; var tgrafico = document.getElementById("teclado_grafico"); if(MAYUSCULA_ACTIVADO) { // tgrafico.className = "teclado_grafico mayuscula"; // $("#teclado_grafico").removeClass('minuscula').addClass('mayuscula'); // $("#teclado_grafico").attr('class', 'teclado_grafico mayuscula'); // $("#teclado_grafico").attr('className', 'teclado_grafico mayuscula'); tgrafico.setAttribute('className', "teclado_grafico mayuscula") || tgrafico.setAttribute('class', "teclado_grafico mayuscula"); } else { // tgrafico.className = "teclado_grafico minuscula"; // $("#teclado_grafico").removeClass('mayuscula').addClass('minuscula'); // $("#teclado_grafico").attr('class', 'teclado_grafico minuscula'); // $("#teclado_grafico").attr('className', 'teclado_grafico minuscula'); tgrafico.setAttribute('className', "teclado_grafico minuscula") || tgrafico.setAttribute('class', "teclado_grafico minuscula"); } } catch (_E) { //void } return; } The associated CSS is like this: .mayuscula a.tecla_teclado{ text-transform: uppercase; } .minuscula a.tecla_teclado{ text-transform: lowercase; } It works on every single browser I've tried. IE 6, 7; Opera 10; GChrome; FF 3, 3.5 and 3.6; Safari 4,... but in IE8 v8 (strict mode) the class is not changed! I mean, debuggin' with the IE8 tools allows one to see that the attribute className is there and it changes... but the user does not see the letters changing from uppercase to lowercase, to uppercase again. I just don't know how to handle this... I had complains about the client using IE6... now they updated their stuff and this shows up. Any help will be reaaaaly helpful!

  • COM Interop error, class not registered when using MSMQ Library

    - by mattmck
    I've referenced the MSMQ v3 Object Library in a VS2010 C# project only to get: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80040154): Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {0188401C-247A-4FED-99C6-BF14119D7055} failed due to the following error: 80040154 Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)). I've registered the library the reference points to: regsvr32 C:\windows\system32\mqoa.dll What am I missing? Assuming this works, what will I have to do at deployment to ensure the app will run on other machines with MSMQ installed?

  • iPhone UIWebView: loadData does not work with certain types (Excel, MSWord, PPT, RTF)

    - by Thomas Tempelmann
    My task is to display the supported document types on an iPhone with OS 3.x, such as .pdf, .rtf, .doc, .ppt, .png, .tiff etc. Now, I have stored these files only encrypted on disk. For security reasons, I want to avoid storing them unencrypted on disk. Hence, I prefer to use loadData:MIMEType:textEncodingName:baseURL: instead of loadRequest: to display the document because loadData allows me to pass the content in a NSData object, i.e. I can decrypt the file in memory and have no need to store it on disk, as it would be required when using loadRequest. The problem is that loadData does not appear to work with all file types: Testing shows that all picture types seem to work fine, as well as PDFs, while the more complex types don't. I get a errors such as: NSURLErrorDomain Code=100 NSURLErrorDomain Code=102 WebView appears to need a truly working URL for accessing the documents as a file, despite me offering all content via the NSData object already. Here's the code I use to display the content: [webView loadData:data MIMEType:type textEncodingName:@"utf-8" baseURL:nil]; The mime-type is properly set, e.g. to "application/msword" for .doc files. Does anyone know how I could get loadData to work with all types that loadRequest supports? Or, alternatively, is there some way I can tell which types do work for sure (i.e. officially sanctioned by Apple) with loadData? Then I can work twofold, creating a temp unencrypted file only for those cases that loadData won't like. Update Looks like I'm not the first one running into this. See here: http://osdir.com/ml/iPhoneSDKDevelopment/2010-03/msg00216.html So, I guess, that's the status quo, and nothing I can do about it. Someone suggested a work-around which might work, though: http://osdir.com/ml/iPhoneSDKDevelopment/2010-03/msg00219.html Basically, the idea is to provide a tiny http server that serves the file (from memory in my case), and then use loadRequest. This is probably a bit more memory-intensive, though, as both the server and the webview will probably both hold the entire contents in memory as two copies then, as opposed to using loadData, where both would rather share the same data object. (Mind you, I'll have to hold the decrypted data in memory, that's the whole point here).

  • conf.lua not being read (Lua/LOVE 0.8.0)

    - by Brigham Andersen
    I need a higher resolution for my program to run. For some reason I cannot discern alone, LOVE is not applying (or finding?) conf.lua. My folder architecture is as follows: basefolder/ basefolder/main.lua basefolder/conf.lua basefolder/Resources/ My conf.lua reads: function love.conf(t) t.window.width = 1280 t.window.height = 720 end Is it something with my code, or with how my directory is set up?

  • UITableView not displaying parsed data

    - by Graeme
    I have a UITableView which is setup in Interface Builder and connected properly to its class in Xcode. I also have a "Importer" Class which downloads and parses an RSS feed and stores the information in an NSMutableArray. However I have verified the parsing is working properly (using breakpoints and NSlog) but no data is showing in the UITable View. Any ideas as to what the problem could be? I'm almost out of them. It's based on the XML performance Apple example. Here's the code for TableView.h: #import <UIKit/UIKit.h> #import "IncidentsImporter.h" @class SongDetailsController; @interface CurrentIncidentsTableViewController : UITableViewController <IncidentsImporterDelegate>{ NSMutableArray *incidents; SongDetailsController *detailController; UITableView *ctableView; IncidentsImporter *parser; } @property (nonatomic, retain) NSMutableArray *incidents; @property (nonatomic, retain, readonly) SongDetailsController *detailController; @property (nonatomic, retain) IncidentsImporter *parser; @property (nonatomic, retain) IBOutlet UITableView *ctableView; // Called by the ParserChoiceViewController based on the selected parser type. - (void)beginParsing; @end And the code for .m: #import "CurrentIncidentsTableViewController.h" #import "SongDetailsController.h" #import "Incident.h" @implementation CurrentIncidentsTableViewController @synthesize ctableView, incidents, parser, detailController; self.navigationItem.rightBarButtonItem = refreshButton; [refreshButton release]; // Uncomment the following line to preserve selection between presentations. //self.clearsSelectionOnViewWillAppear = NO; // Uncomment the following line to display an Edit button in the navigation bar for this view controller. // self.navigationItem.rightBarButtonItem = self.editButtonItem; } - (void)viewWillAppear:(BOOL)animated { NSIndexPath *selectedRowIndexPath = [ctableView indexPathForSelectedRow]; //self.navigationItem.rightBarButtonItem.enabled = NO; // Allocate the array for song storage, or empty the results of previous parses if (incidents == nil) { NSLog(@"Grabbing array"); self.incidents = [NSMutableArray array];
