    Hi i am working on a web application where i have to encode and decode a string at the JavaScript side and ruby backend of the code. the only problem is that the escape methods for JavaScript and ruby have a small difference. in java script the " " is treated as "%20" but in ruby the " "(space) is encoded to "+". any way to work around this? another ruby method to encode a string in RAW url encode? thank you

    Hello, I have just started learning Haskell and have got stumped on how to add a rating to a custom data type. The data type I'm using has a name, a year and a tuple (userName and their rating), it looks like: data Wine = Wine String Int [Rating] deriving (Eq,Ord,Show,Read) type Rating = (String, Int) I wanted to allow a user to rate a given wine from a database, stored as [Wine] but cant figure out how to to it.     I have the following code that creates a new Excel file in my C# code behind. When I attempt to save the file I would like the user to select the location of the save. In Method #1, I can save the file my using the workbook SaveCopyAs without prompting the user for a location. This saves one file to the C:\Temp directory. Method #2 will save the file in my Users\Documents folder, then prompt the user to select the location and save a second copy. How can I eliminate the first copy from saving in the Users\Documents folder?   • How can a button click method find out which item is selected in a ListView?

    I have a single screen with a bank of buttons below a ListView. Entries on the ListView light up in orange when I scroll so I assume that are selected. When I then press the "Delete" button I want the onClickListener to remove the currently selected entry. But getSelectedItemPosition() always gives me -1. If I can't hope to use the GUI controls in this way, please give me another way of getting the same result. I have even tried setting the onClickListener of the List View to store the index before the button is pressed (in case pressing the button unselects the entry) but even that is always -1 it seems.     I am defining a primary key in MongoMapper. class B key :_id, string key :externalId, string end The problem is that everything i add a new record in B, it appears that I need to explicity specify the _id, when it is already defined in the external id B.new(:_id=>"123", :external_id=>"123 ) That does not quite make sense. There should be a way to specify externalId as the primary key, no?
