    I'm trying to write an LDAP query for find all users in a domain with NO login scripts. The following works for users with a login script = db.bat: (&(objectCategory=user)(ScriptPath=DA.BAT)) However, what i thought will be the obvious logic for a Null ScriptPath field returns no values: (&(objectCategory=user)(ScriptPath="")) I'll appreciate any assistance.   • Is it possible to programmatically edit a sound file based on frequency?

    Just wondering if it's possible to go through a flac, mp3, wav, etc file and edit portions, or the entire file by removing sections based on a specific frequency range? So for example, I have a recording of a friend reciting a poem with a few percussion instruments in the background. Could I write a C program that goes through the entire file and cuts out everything except the vocals (human voice frequency ranges from 85-255 Hz, from what I've been reading)? Thanks in advance for any ideas!

  • Joomla - output ' instead of \'

    Hello there, all of my Joomla site's contents shows apostrophes as \' instead of just '. Now my head is spinning from looking at all the million places where individual components and joomla itself does add/remove slashes and deals with magic quotes and all of this... I also found that one can rather easily write one's own OutputFilter for the patTemplate, so I thought maybe I would just do a str_replace of all \' to '. Doesn't sound right. How to deal with these apostrophes?

    I want to make a text highlight in flex textArea but its htmlText doesn't support <font bgcolor='#FFFF00'> part of my text </font> so I'm searching for a font witch is the opposite of Courier new, when I embed it in flash, and write with that color I get this effect part of my text , as I type <font family="negativeOfCourier" color='#FFFF00'> part of my text </font>

  • how do you create a simple obejctice-c command line project in xcode

    im moving from a c# VS2008 world into the mac world and I just wanted to know how I can create a quick little command line based application so that I can write many little objective-c apps without worrying about creating an iPhone app or whatever. Which projects do I create in xcode? I can see the Command Line Tool under "Mac os x" but the only options for the type is "C", "C++", "Core Data", "Core Foundation", "Core Services" and "Foundation" but no simple objective c project?   • Development Environment for Testing MySQL Replication

    Is there an easy way to setup an environment on one machine (or a VM) with MySQL replication? I would like to put together a proof of concept of MySQL replication with one Master write instance and two slave instances for reads. I can see doing it across 2 or 3 VMs running on my computer, but that would really bog down my system. I'd rather have everything running on the same VM. What's the best way to proof out scalability solutions like this in a local dev environment? Thanks for your help, Dave

  • Special chars in Amazon S3 keys?

    Is it possible to have special characters like åäö in the key? If i urlencode the key before storing it works, but i cant really find a way to access the object. If i write åäö in the url i get access denied (like i get if the object is not found). If i urlencode the url i paste in the browser i get "InvalidURICouldn't parse the specified URI". Is there some way to do this?

I want a list of all the elements in my string list that are accepted by at least one of the filters. Ideally, I'd write [s for s in strings if some (lambda f: re.match (f, s), filters)] where some is defined as def some (pred, list): for x in list: res = pred (x) if res: return res return False Is something like that already available in Python, or is there a more idiomatic way to do this?

  • Play animation (storyboard) backwards

    Is there a simple way to play some StoryBoad backward (reversed) ? As there is a method Storyboard.Begin() I would expect that there is some method like "Storyboard.BeginReversed()" but I cannot find it. If there is no way to play an animation backwards that I have to write for most of my animations complementary animations. That smells bad to me (code duplication of some kind). Basically I just animate a Grid that shows and than hides.

When we upgrade a library it would be useful to quickly find out which projects have a dependency on the library (and might need to use the new version) Obviously I can manually look in all the pom files or write a script to do it but this is less than ideal.     i have written a object selection algorithm which picks the objects by there color. i give every object an unique color and then i just have to use the glReadPixels method to check which object was selected this works fine and is really fast but the problem is that the frame is displayed on the screen with all the picking-colors so the screen flashes every time you select something. so my question is: how do i write everything in the correct display buffer but dont display it on the screen to avoid these flashes?
