  Apache: I have multiple domains on one hosting. I have a web-management software listening to port 3000 and one phpmyadmin. Can I restrict access to a certain domain? I mean that example.com:3000 will work and notexample.com:3000 not? (same for phpmyadmin) UPD: I have 3 IP's pointing to that host. • Is it possible to ensure that multiple applications run in the same terminal server session using RemoteApp?

  We are interested in implementing RemoteApp on Windows 2008 R2 to serve out a few programs. Since the developers use shared memory to pass messages between processes, it is necessary that we provide them with a solution that will allow this. They have researched and discovered that if the applications exist in the same terminal server session that they will be able to access shared memory. Is there a way to absolutely ensure that multiple RemoteApps are running within the same session (with the same user) so that they can access the same shared memory?

  How do I get Excel to partially auto-complete a word using another that already exist in the same worksheet? Let's say I have the word "Microsoft" in a cell and in the cell below I want to type the word "Microhard". When I start typing Microhard, the word Microsoft appears shaded in black. How can I select the "Micro" part alone from Microsoft and continue to fill out the rest with "hard" without it trying to fill out as Microsoft?

  I have almost 280 different imgcount.txt files, one in each subfolder of My Pictures folder in Win7. Each with just a number of how many files are in each folder. Is it because of my iphone syncing? Or Fireworks? Photoshop? Screen saver? Why do they exist and how useful are they? Can I delete them?

• Where can I get POP/IMAP settings for Windows Live Domain emails

  I have setup email for my custom domain using Windows Live Domains. I then upgraded from the Hotmail interface to the new Outlook.com interface. I cannot seem to find the POP/IMAP settings to connect to in the Settings Sections of the new Outlook.com interface. The only instructions I could find mentioned were using the Hotmail interface, and the corresponding section does not exist in the Outlook.com redesigned settings.

  I need a service which allows me to edit a hosted text file by email. For example: I write an email to [email protected] with subject "ADD LINE 10" and sending it the mail body is inserted into myfile which is hosted on a server of someservice.ext. Same for "DELETE LINE 12" or "SUBSTITUTE LINE 15". If I write "ECHO FILE" or something similar, the service should send me an email with the updated content of the text file. Does it exist?

I want the user to be presented with a dropdown of system users, select one, enter the password, and the app gets run as that user. Like gksudo but user to run as specified in GUI and not as switch. • Is there a middle ground in monthly server costs?

  Right now I'm paying a monthly fee of 12.95 for a server and I'm definitely getting what I pay for! (no customer support, outages, slowdowns, glitches, etc) I know that the good companies (Rackspace) charge much more. (Hundreds a month) I'm wondering if there is a middle ground somewhere that might be as good as Rackspace but is still better than what I have. 50 a month maybe? If it does exist will the extra $40 a month be worth it?

  Firefox 4's default home page provides a search engine with some snippets below. Is there any way to customize the search engine used through about:config or some other configuration file? localStorage["search-engine"] sometimes gets reset, possibly after a FF update. I would like to avoid creating a greasemonkey script that scripts on about:home. If an extension exist to fulfill the task, I'd be happy too. I'm using Firefox from Kubuntu 11.04 for that matters.

  What resources (books, Web pages etc) exist out there that: explain the causes of latency in TCP/IP-over-Ethernet networks; mention tools for looking out for things that cause latency (e.g. certain entries in netstat -s); suggest ways to tweak the Linux TCP stack to reduce TCP latency (Nagle, socket buffers etc). The closest I am aware of is this document, but it's rather brief. Alternatively, you're welcome to answer the above questions directly.

  I'm attempting to install Apache httpd-2.4.3. running $ ./configure --with-included-apr --with-pcre=/home/gregd/httpd-2.4.3/pcre --with-mod_alias --with-mod_include --with-mod_mime --with-mod_rewrite --with-mod_speling --with-mod_ss I get the following error: configure: error: Did not find pcre-config script at /home/gregd/httpd-2.4.3/pcre But the file pcre-config most certainly DOES exist in /home/gregd/httpd-2.4.3/pcre. So does configure. Installing on ubuntu. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

• How to IDLE on all folders in Thunderbird 7?

  The title pretty much says everything: I'm using server-side filtering so I need Thunderbird to watch all folders for new messages using IDLE. I've already tried enabling "When getting new messages for this account, always check this folder" but after restarting TB I did not have an IMAP IDLE connection open for every folder. I've also tried setting mail.check_all_imap_folders_for_new (which did not exist before) and mail.server.default.check_all_folders_for_new to true - nothing changed.

  Hello, I've just installed ubuntu 10.10 on my laptop its all great but the screen resolution is a bit crap i have it set 1200:800 and when i do xrandr it indicates that the i can have a bigger screen resolution but i dont seem to to be able to increase it more 1200:800. another interesting thing is that xorg.conf does not exist on the /etc/X11/ is there a way to increase the screen resolution for Sony laptops? the graphics card is Intel Graphics Please help!

  I need an easy way to do system stability tests. I have come to rely on Prime95 which does a fantastic job of proving stability (or instability) very quickly; but it requires an OS installed. I would like something like Prime95 that stresses both CPU and RAM (maybe PCI-Ex bus also?) but runs in a nice bootable binary like Memtest86+ does, so I can boot it from a thumbdrive. Does such a thing exist?

  Is there any build in UI for that kind of hardware like it exist in Modern UI for WiFi, Bluetooth, Broadband mobile and other common settings or I'm forced to use separate software (besides the obvious drivers for hardware)? The thing is that I have build-in fingerprint reader in my laptop and I have installed all necessary official drivers for it (and it looks like they are working fine, btw).   I need to simulate verilog on my Macbook Pro for school. I've tried downloading, configuring, and installing icarus and veriwell. The make test works for icarus, but not for veriwell, neither of them are recognized by the terminal. The command I'm using is: iverilog hello.vl and veriwell hello.vl Terminal claims that neither of these commands exist... I'm very new at configuring tools with the terminal, but I think the issue is just USING the program afterwards. Any ideas?

  When I run sar -d I receive the error message: Requested activities not available in file /var/log/sysstat/sa24 The file does exist, and I can run sar with other flags, but can't see these particular metrics. Is there something I need to enable in sysstat to collect what I need to see this report? Server is Ubuntu 9.04.
