  • What's the best way to skin my iPhone app (similar to how the Notes app is skinned)?

    If you look at the Notes app on the iPad, you can see it uses all native iPhone controls, but they're "skinned" to look like a pad of paper. What's the best way to implement something similar to that? Could I use interface builder and simply change the background image for each of the controls, including the TableViews? Thanks in advance for all your help! I'm going to continue researching this question right now.

  • CrystalReportViewer does not display Charts

    Hi, My CrystalReportViewer won't display the charts in my Crystal Report. I get a red X. I am using C# and MVC. I've read somewehre that I might need a virtual path to the image folder but I am not really sure what that means as my chart is embedded in the report....Maybe I am missing something. Plz can anyone elaborate. Thanks Susan

My problem is that, i want it to to transition to full screen. The following javascript function does expand to fullscreen but the transition effect doesn't come.     I want to show a PREVIEW kind of thing for an post , so took details by JS but problem comes when it comes to <input type="file" , it's not giving full path to the file Ex: if I do $("#image").val(); it only give "Sunset.jpg" not C:\Documents and Settings\All Users....\Sunset.jpg any idea how to get that detail value?

  • Rendering problem with UITableview

    I have a very strange problem with a UITableview within a navigation controller on the iPhone simulator. Of the cells displayed, only some are correctly rendered. They are all supposed to look the same but the majority are missing the accessory I've set, scrolling the view changes which cell has the accessory so I suspect it's some sort of cell caching happening, although the contents are correct for each cell. I also set an image as the background and that was also only displaying sporadically but I fixed that by changing cell.backgroundView = [[UIImageView alloc] initWithImage:[UIImage imageNamed:@"yellow-bar_short.png"]]; (which also only rendered a random cell with the background) to cell.backgroundColor = [[UIColor alloc] initWithPatternImage:[UIImage imageNamed:@"yellow-bar_short.png"]]; I now need to fix the problem with the accessory only showing on a random cell. I tried moving the code from cellForRowAtIndex to willDisplayCell but it made no difference. I put in a log command to confirm that it is running through each frame. Basically it's a table view (UITableViewCellStyleSubtitle) that gets its info from a server & is then updated by a delegate method calling reload. But it occupies too much space and other labels and text boxes are not shown in proper alignment.     I've looked around a bit for a great JavaScript Sprite Sheet animator lib/engine but couldn't find any good ones so I thought I'd ask around =). What I'm looking for in the engine is: Animate an image in a non-canvas setting (ex: div via css or img tags) Control frame rate/animation speed Flags to loop or to animate once etc. Are there any engines like this out there? If not I can always make my own but then again, I don't want to re-invent the wheel =].

  • Custom cell in list in Flash AS3

    I am no expert in Flash, and I need some quick help here, without needing to learn everything from scratch. Short story, I have to make a list where each cell contains an image, two labels, and a button. List/Cell example: img - label - label - button img - label - label - button As a Java-programmer, I have tried to quicly learn the syntax and visualness of Flash and AS3, but with no luck so far. I have fairly understood the basics of movie clips etc. I saw a tutorial on how to add a list, and add some text to it. So I dragged in a list, and in the code went list.addItem({label:"hello"}); , and that worked ofc. So i thought if I double-clicked the MC of the list, i would get to tweak some things. In there I have been wandering around different halls of cell-renderers etc. I have now come to the point that I entered the CellRenderer_skinUp or something, and customized it to my liking. When this was done, I expected i could use list.addItem(); and get an empty "version" of my cell, with the img, labels and the button. But AS3 expects an input in addItem. From my object-oriented view, I am thinking that i have to create an object of the cell i have made, but i have no luck reaching it.. I tried to go var test:CellRenderer = list.listItem; list.addItem(test); ..But with no luck. This is just for funsies, but I really want to make this work, however not so much that I am willing to read up on ALOT of Flash and AS3. I felt that I was closing in on the prize, but the compiler expected a semicolon after the variable (list.addItem({test:something});). Note: If possible, I do NOT want this: list.addItem({image:"src",label:"text",label"text",button:"text"}); Well.. It actually is what I want, but I would really like to custom-draw everything. Does anyone get what I am trying to do, and has any answers for me? Am I approaching this the wrong way? I have searched the interwebs for custom list-cells, but with no luck.     I am creating an desktop application which is capable of sending emails. I downloaded mail.jar and javaee.jar and added it to my project libraries. However, when I am trying to use it, it gives me the error java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: Uncompilable source code - package javax.mail does not exist I imported those packages as, import javax.mail.* It added correctly, as shown in the following image. How to ensure that gzip compression in JBoss is turned on? Is it possible to check it in jmx-console?

    First time I've used it. had it working but suddenly it's gone. It seems temperamental, sometimes works grand, a refresh then breaks it.
