  Hi, I'm trying to persist an object into the database using Cayenne Entity Manager. And unfortunately I get the following error: org.apache.cayenne.CayenneRuntimeException: [v.3.0 Apr 26 2010 09:59:17] Commit Exception Caused by: com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.MySQLSyntaxErrorException: Table 'myDatabase.auto_pk_support' doesn't exist Any idea how i could solve this issue?   Hi, I'm using php on apache with mysql. I want to let users enter a url into their browser to see a custom user page for themselves, just like twitter does. For example, they could enter urls like: www.mysite.com/johndoe www.mysite.com/janedoe and see that user's page. How could I do this with php and apache? I don't want to create a folder on disk for every user like above, I'd instead kind of like to catch the url and generate the page on the fly for them, Thanks

  Hi All, i am using a data grid in flex and i am generating data from a mysql server. However, my problem is with adding a button within the datagrid so each row has one. i have set the columns itemRenderer to mx.controls.Button although with the buttons shown in the grid there is no label on them (even though one has been set) and the assigned click event does not trigger when hitting the button. anyone have any ideas or guidance on what i am doing wrong. • Sphinx search: failed to unpack mysqlcompress column

  I have compiled sphinx 0.9.9 for debian x64. When I try to index using unpack_mysqlcompress, I get this error: "WARNING: failed to unpack column 'page_text', error=-5" The 'page_text' field is around 5Kb, and unpack_mysqlcompress_maxsize is set to 64M, yet the zlib manual says error -5 indicates Z_BUF_ERROR. Also if mysql does the decompression using UNCOMPRESS(), it works fine. Any ideas why sphinx is generating this error?

Now, I want this particular user to be able to create new databases, how can I escalate this database user's permissions to allow creating new databases?
