  • Does any one know is there any collision detection API for HTML5 Canvas..?

    I have been experimenting HTML5 canvas by coding basic mind-mapping application. I have tried to find out if there is any javascript API used for managing object in canvas like collision detection between images or shapes. I think it is not a good idea to write my own since there might be some good API around. Anyone have clue or some information on this. I would very much appreciate.

    I need to know if the List I am working with contains only some specific values. var list = new List<string> { "First", "Second", "Third" }; If I want to know if the List contain at least one item with the value "First" I use the Any keyword: var result = list.Any(l => l == "First"); But how I can write a Linq expression that will return true/false only if the List contains "First" and "Second" values?

    It's possible to do interesting things with what would ordinarily be thought of as typesetting languages. For example, you can construct the Mandelbrot set using postscript. It is suggested in this MathOverflow question that LaTeX may be Turing-complete. This implies the ability to write arbitrary programs (although it may not be easy!). Does anyone know of any concrete example of such a program in LaTeX, which does something highly unusual with the language?

How could I write an expression that returns a list starting with the number entered? right now I am using it as: (clientNum is a long) crit.Add(Expression.Like("ClientNumber", clientNum)); //this always gives me exact matches only so I tried the following, but its complainging of a wroing type (its only expecting a string) crit.Add(Expression.Like("ClientNumber", clientNum, MatchMode.Start));

    I'm been trying to write a table trigger the queries another table that is outside the schema where the trigger will reside. Is this possible? It seems like I have no problem querying tables in my schema but I get: Error: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist when trying trying to query tables outside my schema. The documentation seems to elude to this notion, but it's not 100% clear to me.

    I heard that Windows 7 restricts access to its registry, so that applications cannot write directly to it. Is this so? I am developing an application in C#, and I would like to be able to save things such as port settings, last file used, etc. between sessions. To make my code more readable, I decided to replace this code: if(arg1==NULL || arg2==NULL || arg3==NULL...) { return SOME_ERROR; } With that macro: NULL_CHECK(arg1,arg2,...) How should I write it, if the number of args is unknown and they can point to different structs?(I work in C99)
