Can I alter the text to bold (append text) and then back to normal and will it only display the bold text in bold and the rest as normal?     Hi i am working on some high resolution display features in which have to draw the vertical line , i am using Moveto() and lineTO() , but it is much time taking... can anyone suggest me , what we can use instead of it ...to optimize the performance... see the scene is , in order to draw 100 Vertical lines it is taking 84ms time, we need to reduce it to 5 ms something.. please refer me any alternate fot that.     Hi, my app presents a listview, from a database cursor and XML, that needs to replace the values in a column with various words based on the integer value contained in the cursor. For example, if the value is -1, replace it with the word "Invalid", but if the value is = 0 then just display the value. I was under the impression this could magically be done via XML... TIA.

I'm aware that this is probably not the way this function needs to be used, but I have found little documentation about it online, and absolutely no useful examples of implementations. My question is, can anybody help me with fixing this problem? Any help would be appreciated terrifically, like always!

    I have a scenario where I would like to randomize the display of some items. Given a Parent item, how can I randomly select one of its child items? Of course I could load ALL the children and apply some random index or whatnot... but that would be wildly inefficient. I'm wondering if this is also inefficient: Parent.Children[random(Parent.Children.Count)]? At what point do the items get loaded when you access Parent.Children?
