  I'm trying to do something like this: xhr.setRequestHeader( 'X-Requested-With', 'XMLHttpRequest' ); For ActiveXObject('Microsoft.XMLHTTP') and XDomainRequest (IE8). I'm having no such luck finding it anywhere in microsoft documentation or even google. Any idea how I can achieve this?

  Does anyone know of a .NET API (source-code is preferrable of course) that I can access all the common chat clients thru it (GT, Yahoo, MSN, AIM, FB, ICQ, SKYPE and more)? I guess I am looking for a .NET library project that performs something like pidjin. I need it because I hate Pidgin's interface and functionality, and I want to have a Google-Talk desktop like UI. The best thing I have found so far is to use Google Gears, which has a location API available, but my application is not web based. Are there any good public cell id databases that can be accessed from any kind of application? I have found a few interesting projects out there like OpenCellID, but the database is very poor right now.
