  A simple google search for: CGRect + C or CGRect in C brings back only Apple, iPhone, and Objective-C websites. However, I remember hearing that Core Graphics was part of C at my university. Did I hear incorrectly, or is CGRect something that I can use in C, or even C++ as it's Object oriented?

  I am looking into Javascript programming without a browser. I want to run scripts from the Linux or Mac OS X command line, much like we run any other scripting language (ruby, php, perl, python...) $ javascript my_javascript_code.js I looked into spider monkey (Mozilla) and v8 (Google), but both of these appear to be embedded. Is anyone using Javascript as a scripting language to be executed from the command line? If anyone is curious why I am looking into this, I've been poking around node.js

But Microsoft's game platform, XNA Studio is based on programming in C# and I didn't find any popular game which was developed using XNA. Is it worth learning XNA for game development or should I consider some other platform?

As the Debug Versions on the Dev-Devices worked great, i'm having trouble compiling the project for distribution.
