  • Write a foreach loop for this array.

    - by mjames
    Hi, I am using the xpath in php5 to parse a xml document. The problem I have is writing a foreach to correctly display the following array array(1) { [0]= object(SimpleXMLElement)#21 (2) { ["file"]= string(12) "value 1" ["folder"]= string(8) "value 2" } } Ideally i would like to get the value by using $row['file'] or $row['folder']. Thanks for any help.

  • How do I get a array to just count how many numbers there are instead of counting the value of each number?

    - by Chad Loos
    //This is the output of the program *** start of 276 2D Arrays_03.cpp program *** Number Count Total 1 3 3 2 6 9 3 15 24 4 6 30 5 9 39 *** end of 276 2D Arrays_03.cpp program *** #include <iostream> #include <string> #include <iomanip> using namespace std; const int COLUMN_SIZE = 13; int main(void) { const int ROW_SIZE = 3; const int COUNT_SIZE = 5; void countValues(const int[][COLUMN_SIZE], const int, int[]); void display(const int [], const int); int numbers[ROW_SIZE][COLUMN_SIZE] = {{1, 3, 4, 5, 3, 2, 3, 5, 3, 4, 5, 3, 2}, {2, 1, 3, 4, 5, 3, 2, 3, 5, 3, 4, 5, 3}, {3, 4, 5, 3, 2, 1, 3, 4, 5, 3, 2, 3, 5}}; int counts[COUNT_SIZE] = {0}; string choice; cout << "*** start of 276 2D Arrays_03.cpp program ***" << endl; cout << endl; countValues(numbers, ROW_SIZE, counts); display(counts, COUNT_SIZE); cout << endl; cout << endl; cout << "*** end of 276 2D Arrays_03.cpp program ***" << endl << endl; cin.get(); return 0; } // end main() This is the function where I need to count each of the values. I know how to sum rows and cols, but I'm not quite sure of the code to just tally the values themselves. void countValues(const int numbers[][COLUMN_SIZE], const int ROW_SIZE, int counts[]) This is what I have so far. { for (int index = 0; index < ROW_SIZE; index++) counts[index]; {

  • Need image, text, youtube, etc. jquery modal overlay with long description

    - by Jason
    Hi, I am looking for a jquery modal window script for displaying images, text, html, videos, etc. There are a lot of great ones out there, but I am looking for one that allows for a long description (that isn't pulled from the title) - like highslide that lets you have a caption and will display the photo text to the right or left of your image in the same modal window. Due to licensing, I can't use highslide. So I'm looking for something else. Thoughts?

  • Java Swing - Adding a row # column to a JTable

    - by llm
    I have data from a database loaded into a JTable through a custom table model. I want to have a column (should be the first column) which simply shows the display row number (i.e. it is not tied to any data (or sorting) but is simply the row number on the screen starting at 1). These "column headers" should be grayed out like the row headers. Any idea how to do this? Thanks

  • Is there ever a good reason to store time not in UTC?

    - by landon9720
    I am wondering if there are any good reasons to ever store time information in anything other that UTC (GMT)? I believe that this is a solid rule for all software engineering. The conversion to local time is merely a translation that happens at the UI layer for display purposes. I have also seen cases where the translatation is needed in order to implement an algorithm correctly (for handling midnight date changes, etc.).

  • How to skin UI using Forms?

    - by Luca
    I'd like to know if is there a way to "skin" a Form and every widget used inside it. Images should be on background and other elements shall be setup accordingly. In short, a way to implement a way to display the same Form in different flavors (i.e.: theme and eyecandy UI).

  • How to animate the change of image in an UIImageView?

    - by mystify
    I have an UIImageView with an image. Now I have a completely new image (graphic file), and want to display that in this UIImageView. If I just set myImageView.image = newImage; the new image is visible immediately. Not animatable. I want it to nicely fade into the new image. I thought maybe there's a better solution than just creating a new UIImageView on top of that and blending with animation?

  • Is there a CSS library which mimics the iPhone grouped UITableView?

    - by cannyboy
    Is there a CSS library which mimics the iPhone grouped UITableView? I want to build a nice looking table which looks exactly like the grouped UITableView. As there are multiple text styles within the each line of text, and I don't need any interactivity except scrolling, it seems it would be easier to build with HTML and display it in a UIWebView. Is there a css library which matches this need?

  • Reverse - Link Cell to Textbox

    - by Daniel
    I have 5 worksheets and a textbox on each worksheet. I would like all the textboxes to display the same value, which would be whatever the user enters in the first textbox. So once a value is entered in textbox1 on sheet1, textbox2 on sheet2, etc. will be populated with the same value. I'm looking for something like changing linkedcell =WorksheetName!textbox1 although I'm pretty sure that is incorrect.

    - by Adam
    Since attributes don't inherit in C# (at least I didn't think they did) - how does the following code still display the Hello popup when the MyTestMethod test is run: [TestClass] public class BaseTestClass { [TestInitialize] public void Foo() { System.Windows.Forms.MessageBox.Show("Hello"); } } [TestClass] public class TestClass : BaseTestClass { [TestMethod] public void MyTestMethod() { Assert.IsTrue(true); } }

  • Android - Help needed with designing a screen with either table layout or list views

    - by A. Cusano
    I am currently developing an android app that is to be a counterpart to its sister iphone prototype. My task is to recreate the screen from a design mockup from the iphone app in android, as shown here (can't display an image as a new user - sorry!): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v439/thrawn891/iphone.jpg What would be the best layouts / views to use for replicating this screen in an activity? Thanks.
