  • Store data for songs MySQL DB

    I'm storing a huge set of songs in a MySQL database. This is what I store in the 'songs' table: CREATE TABLE `songs` ( `song_id` int(10) unsigned NOT NULL auto_increment, `song_artist` varchar(255) NOT NULL, `song_track` varchar(255) NOT NULL, `song_mix` varchar(255) NOT NULL, `song_title` text NOT NULL, `song_hash` varchar(40) NOT NULL, `song_addtime` int(10) unsigned NOT NULL, `song_source` text NOT NULL, `song_file` varchar(255) NOT NULL, PRIMARY KEY (`song_id`) ) ENGINE=MyISAM AUTO_INCREMENT=1857 DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1 Now I'd like to keep track of how many plays each song has, and other song-specific data that relates to the song. I don't want to keep adding fields to the 'songs' table for this. How can I store song related data a more efficient way? What's the best practice here?

But, I have no idea of the general steps I would take to achieve this. Would I use MKMapView, or Core Location, or both?   • how to target css to iPad but exclude Safari 4 desktop using a media query?

    I am trying to use a media rule to target css to iPad only. I want to exclude iPhone/iPod and desktop browsers. I would like to to also exclude other mobile devices if possible. I have used <style type="text/css" media="only screen and (min-device-width: 768px) and (max-device-width: 1024px)"> but just found out that desktop Safari 4 reads it. I have tried variations with "481px" instead of "768px" and another that adds an orientation to that: <style type="text/css" media="only screen and (min-device-width: 481px) and (max-device-width: 1024px) and (orientation:portrait)"> but not luck. (Later we will be sniffing user-agent strings for iPad, but for now that solution won't work.) Thanks!

    Hi All, I have a JSP page populated by javascript resulting in a typical table element cascade . After population I see the text I want using getTable("tableLister.listTable.1.1") The table also has a class=clsDisplayTableBody. I want to click the check box in column 0 for the row of interest.   • NO FBML is working in iframe in facebook using PHP (ie or ff or anywhere else!)

    I have tried for three days now and gotten nowhere on this.... I absolutely can not get any "fb:" code to render anything! I've tried the exact code in the sandbox and it works fine. I've read through every search result I could find and gotten nowhere...   • subscript for a join (\bowtie) operation in LyX/LaTeX

    I'm using LyX to write some Relational Algebra queries. I'm using the \bowtie symbol for the join operation but when I try to put a text in subscript directly under the symbol, I get the following error: ...a_{\t{pId}}\t{person}\right)\bowtie\limits {\t{pId}{1}=\t{pId}_{2}... I'm ignoring this misplaced \limits or \nolimits command. Anyone knows how to do what I want? Preferably in LyX, but ERT code snippets will also be appreciated. Thanks!     Is there any libraries for this? I will put this on a server and it will be a windows service. And Skype will not be installed on server. So Skype API will not mean anything I guess. Edit: I am sorry for not being clear. Here is what i need: I just need a Skype client which will act like a small bot. A person who uses Skype will ask it something like: print totalCreditsLoadedToday And it will answer: 567867867 credits. I need to write a windows service which will accept text messages from Skype and will send responses as text message (a very simple Skype client). I don't need voip support but Skype is a, errr customer requirement lets say. (And yes I suggested Google Talk but not accepted) But i need to achieve this without installing Skype to the server.

Lets say I have 2 entries (according to the table description): 1,1,'ELEMENT 1','A',0,0 2,1,'ELEMENT 2','B',0,1 I want to pivot this data in a view for reporting so that it would look like more like the CSV would, where the output would look this: --------------------- |ELEMENT 1|ELEMENT 2| --------------------- | A | B | --------------------- The data coming in is extremely dynamic; it can be in any order, can be any of over 900 different elements, and the value could be anything. The Run ID ties them all together, and the line and column order basically let me know where the user wants that data to come back in order.

Is it so? Can i just throw them away from my query just like o.name NOT LIKE '%syncobj%' or there's another way? Thank you.

    Hello guys, there are three (open) questions about the internationalization of GWT, I have: 1) Is it a (huge) performance issue, to use only "Messages" for constant and parameterized text (that's possible), where you would use both "Messages" and "Constants" usually? 2) Is there a way to specify the original text in the source code, whose translations can then be specified somewhere? (e.g. Translate("Hello") in the source code and than in a properties file for e.g. spanish: Hello = ¡Hola!) 3) Do you know any translation-tools, which generate the properties and interfaces for you?
