  • Replace a method call

    Hi, I want to achieve below task: 1. I need to search Html.Resource("key") in my application and replace it with GetResource("key",object) 2. The GetResource method has two parameters: the first parameter should be the same as the original method,"key" in this case, and I need to pass in the second parameter which is variable. 3. I need to replace only when the Html.Resource("key") occurs inside certain tags like td and div else I need not replace it. Thanks in advance

    I'm converting database from Teradata to SqlServer. I've noticed all tables and procedures are named by the prefix "dbo." (e.g. "dbo.Table1"). I would like to know if and how I can get rid of "dbo" because it would make the conversion task a lot more easier.

  • Given a PHP class would be the best and simplest way to override one or two of its methods with one

    Here's the objective. I have a PHP class and there are one or two of its methods that I would like to override with my own. As I understand OOP (in PHP and in general) I could write a child class that extends it and overrides the functionality of the methods in question. However, I was wondering if this is the best way of achieving this task and if this is a proper use for child classes or if there is something better in PHP for what I'm trying to do.

For example if I want to create list report, then i need to write something like: <table query="SELECT * from mytable"></table> It needed for simple data applications. In that kind application no programming logic required. Just working with DB. Changing DB data and showing it.

It should have been more like: Can I have STL containers of a base type stored by-value in which the elements exhibit polymorphic behavior? If you are asking the question in terms of C++, the answer is "no." At some point, you will slice objects stored by-value. Now I ask the question again, but strictly in terms of C++11. With the changes to the language and the standard libraries, is it now possible to store polymorphic objects by value in an STL container? I'm well aware of the possibility of storing a smart pointer to the base class in the container -- this is not what I'm looking for, as I'm trying to construct objects on the stack without using new. Basically all the files which have test in their absolute path should be not included in the search. How do I achieve that? I am willing to have a custom bash script.     I currently have 5 tables in MySQL database. Some of them share foreign keys and are interdependent of each other. I am displaying classes accordingly to their majors. Each class is taught during the fall, spring or all_year. In my database I have a table named semester which has an id, year, and semester fields. The semester field in particular is a tinyint that has three values 0, 1, 2. This signifies the fall, spring or all_year. When I display the query instead of having it show 0 or 1 or 2 can I have it show fall, spring etc? Extra: How can I add space to the end of each loop so the data doesn't look clustered?
