    I'm using the JQuery Validation plugin. I'm using the remote option to make a call to my webservice to check if a company name exists. The webservice only accepts JSON data. I pass the data to the webservice from the Company Input Field in my Form as follows: data: "{'company': '" + $('#Company').val() + "'}" But this always returns a blank value for company so the response is {'company':''} i.e. correct JSON but missing the Company Input Field value. Can anyone shed some light on why I always get a blank value here? Thanks for the help, Ciaran

    Hi I have a utility function I've put together to insert rows into a dataframe below. If I was writing out the formula by hand I would put something like newframe=rbind(oldframe[1:rownum,],row_to_insert=row_to_insert,oldframe[(rownum+1:nrow(oldframe),] to name row_to_insert. Could someone tell me how to do this in a function?     My HTML currently contains a background image that stretches with the viewport. Within that, I plan to place a div that stretches to the height and width of the viewport and has black background colour at 50% opacity. I've set the div to be 100% width and height. The div is not stretching and I can't figure out why!   • Getting row right after insert returns no result

    I am running unit tests and when I try to insert data in the database and getting it right after, I don't get anything (I have tried with DataAdapter and DataReader). However when I put a 3 seconds sleep (even with 1 second it doesn't work...) between the insert and the select I get the result. In SQL Server Profiler I can see the execution, the insert is well done and is completed about 10 miliseconds before the select begins. I can't find out where this comes

  • Searching for empty methods

    I am currently working on a security audit/code review of our system. This requires me to check all pages in the system and make sure that the code behind contains two methods that are used to check security. Sometimes the code in these methods get commented out to make testing easier. So, my question is does anyone know an easy way to search code, make sure the methods are present, and to determine which ones have no code or have all the code commented out. It would make my job much easier if I can get a list instead of having to look at every file... I'm sure I could write this myself, but I thought someone may know of something that already exists. I have a nested problem: In test_1() (and the other functions) I would like to ensure that the rows are added to the table according to the order in which the elements are in the object; I would like to execute either test_2 or test_3 (or both after each other) only after test_1 has finished completely. Actually the right sequence will only be known at runtime (there will be a switch with the possible sequences, like 1,2,3 or 1,3,2 or 1,2,1,3 or 1,3,3,2, etc...)   • Zend Framework - Not Connecting to IMAP mail server - instead dumps empty php file

    Hi guys I'm trying to connect to an imap mail server using zend frameworks Zend_Mail_Storage_Imap function. Its working with some accounts but with most accounts it just dies out. I'm connecting using: $mail = new Zend_Mail_Storage_Imap(array('host' =>$current_dept->incoming_server, 'ssl' =>$current_dept->ssl, 'port'=>$current_dept->incoming_port, 'folder'=>$mbox_name, 'user' =>$current_dept->email, 'password' =>$current_dept->email_psd)); WIth some email accounts teh code doesn't go past this statement - and instead I'm prompted to 'download' the php file being run. Whats happening here - the mail server details are correct.

When not using a transaction and saving changes after each insertion does keep order, but I really need a transaction for all entries.

Now I want to group this data into hourly readings. Can someone please assist me, I'm not sure what is right way of doing this. Thanks ADDED Ok so the spilt between Datetime is working nicely, but as if I add a SUM([KW]) function SQL gives an error. And if I include any of the group functions it also nags. Below is what works, I still need to sum the KW per the grouping of hours. I've tried using Group By Hour and Group by DATEPART(Hour,[DateTime]) Both didn't work.     I want to make a TableView of phrases which the user can edit. The "Phrase editor" is being displayed modally. My top left is for the Done button right now. I'm considering making a button at the end of the table for "new phrase". How would I implement that? Is it a good idea to follow the "contacts" application and make a + button in the top right, or Should I make the "Add Items" button at the end of the list? What are HIG implications of either one? BONUS: Where can I find some tutorials on Navigation Controllers and Table Views? Thanks a ton.

  • HQL - row identifier for pagination

    Does anyone know if HQL has a keyword to identify rows such as ROWID or ROWNUM? I would like to implement pagination with HQL but I am not able to use .setMaxResult() or .setFirstResult() because I don't work with the session object directly and therefore don't use the Query object but simply create my query as a string and use the .find() method. I tried using LIMIT and OFFSET in my query, but HQL seems to be ignoring these keywords and is returning the whole result to me no matter what. I'm also not able to use Hibernate criteria because it does not have support for the "HAVING" clause that appears in my query. My last resort is to restrict the result set using the ROWNUM/ROWID keyword. Does anyone else have any other suggestions?

I would expect as result one table with 3px solid green line below the second th cell. Instead of that in Chrome, I have solid green border below both the second and the third th cell. In the firefox, results are just as expected. Is this browser bug, or my code is illegal?     Hi there, I have a problem with dynamically added script element (using jQuery). Code for adding new script element to DOM is this: var pScript = document.createElement("script"); pScript.type = "text/javascript"; pScript.src = sFile; // Add element to the end of head element $("head").append(pScript); The script is added with no problem, and the code runs perfectly. But, the problem occurs when I try to find the newly added script. I use this code to iterate through all script elements: var bAdd = true; $("script").each(function() { if(this.src == sFile) bAdd = false; }); (I need this code to prevent adding script that is already loaded) Problem is that all other script elements have src attribute set, but the newly added (dynamically) has not... Any idea?
