• Why am I getting "Rails requires RubyGems >= 1.3.2" when I have 1.3.6 installed?

  I've Google around and haven't found much... I'm trying to run script/server for my Rails project, and I get Rails requires RubyGems = 1.3.2. Please install RubyGems and try again: http://rubygems.rubyforge.org gem --version Shows 1.3.6. Rails and all gems were installed using sudo. I'm on Mac OSX 10.6.

  This should probably be pretty simple but my Google-Fu is as yet unable to find an answer. I simply want to create a dropdown list in Access so that upon selection I can perform some action based on the value of the selection. For instance, I have a list of people and I would like to populate the combo box so that their names appear in the list but the "value" is set to their ID (the primary key).

I'd like to know how well my app runs, like how much memory it uses.   When writing web apps in Python, it brain dead easy to run a development server. Django and Google App Engine both ship with simple servers. The main feature I'm looking for is no configuration. I want something like the GAE dev server where you just pass the directory of the app as a parameter when the server is started. Is there a reason that this is more difficult with PHP?

• PHP - Problem using file_get_contents

  I have a problem while using the file_get_contents function. I am using it to get a response from a different web server, but it's not returning anything (shown as empty string using var_dump). Also, the problem is only while calling this specific server, because I got result when I used Google's address; and it's working fine in my local machine. I've tried cUrl too - but same result.
