  • Writing csv header removes data from numpy array written below

    I'm trying to export data to a csv file. It should contain a header (from datastack) and restacked arrays with my data (from datastack). One line in datastack has the same length as dataset. The code below works but it removes parts of the first line from datastack. Any ideas why that could be? s = ','.join(itertools.chain(dataset)) + '\n' newfile = 'export.csv' f = open(newfile,'w') f.write(s) numpy.savetxt(newfile, (numpy.transpose(datastack)), delimiter=', ') f.close()

  • Echo items with value of three

    I need to echo all items in my row that have the value of three. If a field has the value of three I then need to echo the 'name' and 'description' on that row. This is what I have so far $result = mysql_query($query1) or die(mysql_error()); while ($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)) { echo $row['status']; } I need to write 'if $row[`status´ == 3 echo 'description' 'name' else echo 'no current staus' I hope I made some sense because I am seriously confused

    I am learning how to write test cases using Rspec. I have a simple Post Comments Scaffold where a Post can have many Comments. I am testing this using Rspec. How should i go about checking for Post :has_many :comments. Should I stub Post.comments method and then check this with by returning a mock object of array of comment objects? Is testing for AR associations really required ?

  • Change library load order at run time (like LD_PRELOAD but during execution)

    How do I change the library a function loads from during run time? For example, say I want to replace the standard printf function with something new, I can write my own version and compile it into a shared library, then put "LD_PRELOAD=/my/library.so" in the environment before running my executable. But let's say that instead, I want to change that linkage from within the program itself. Surely that must be possible... right?

  • Special chars in Amazon S3 keys?

    Is it possible to have special characters like åäö in the key? If i urlencode the key before storing it works, but i cant really find a way to access the object. If i write åäö in the url i get access denied (like i get if the object is not found). If i urlencode the url i paste in the browser i get "InvalidURICouldn't parse the specified URI". Is there some way to do this?

  • How can I parse through a texutre in DirectX? (IDirect3DTexture9*)

    I've been trying to figure out how to parse textures in directx for two reasons: to write my own texture format and to manipulate data in existing IDirect3DTexture9 type textures. I've been looking at the IDirect3DTexture9::LockRect() function but I'm unsure how it works, are the void* pBits I get out of it in D3DLOCKED_RECT the data in the texture? Does that mean I can read it in by converting it to D3DXCOLOR or something? Really not sure where to go, any help would be appreciated!

    I use the following code to log a map, it is fast when it only contains zeroes, but as soon as there is actual data in the map it becomes unbearably slow...     Hey guys, I tried to write a XMPP Client using this mentioned factories. Now my program only needs this connection during a short time. How can I make the Factory to stop reconnection attempts? Unfortunately stopTrying doesn't work. Do I have to disconnect running connections before? Any help would be appreciated :)

  • In Python, can I single line a for loop over iterator with an IF filter?

    Silly question: I have a simple for loop followed by a simple if statement: for airport in airports: if airport.is_important: and I was wondering if I can write this as a single line somehow. So, yes, I can do this: for airport in (airport for airport in airports if airport.is_important): but it reads so silly and redundant ("for airport in airport for airport in airports..."). Is there a better way?
