• Localized messages for internal .NET exceptions - where are the resources stored?

  I am wondering where do the localized message come from. They apparently from resource class called SR that uses the standard .NET localization mechanism (via ResourceManager) I can not find any satellite resource assemblies (e.g. System.es-es.dll) when I install a specific localized .NET framework version. Where are the localized resource variants coming from?

• Selectively turning off Devise's flash notices in Rails 3

  The Devise authentication framework uses flash notices everywhere. This makes it easy to integrate with apps but it leads to poor user experience sometimes. I am wondering what's an easy way to selectively turn off some of the Devise flash notices in my Rails 3 app. In particular, I'd like to get rid of the blatantly obvious signed_in and signed_out flashes. Some searching suggested subclassing the session controller or use something like this but I haven't been able to find any simple solutions to this problem.

Because categories are almost the same(they can change/add once a month or something), I don't think I have to query the database for each access of the web-page. Do you have a better idea for me? • Is NAnt in the dead pool?

  I know NAnt sees frequent use (well, I always use it for my CI builds) but there has been no new official release since December 2007. Is the project receiving active development any more or is it dead-pooled? It worries me that if I carry on using it, and it stops tracking the latest version of .NET, I'll eventually be left with a massive job when it comes to upgrading systems to a version of the framework that it can't build. Has everyone else gone over to some other tool like MSBuild these days?
