I have an issue where my Hyperlink field in Asp.net GridView is not accepting Javascript function that will open a popup dialog. I am using the following snippet <asp:GridView .... . . <asp:HyperLinkField DataTextField="SomeColumn" HeaderText="Some Column Text" SortExpression="SomeColumn" HeaderStyle-HorizontalAlign="Left" DataNavigateUrlFormatString="javascript:LaunchSomePopupdialog({0})" DataNavigateUrlFields="Id" ItemStyle-Font-Underline="true"> . . </asp:GridView> However, when I use a page url, it works: E.g. • PHP: Iterate through folders and display HTML contends

    - by Mestika
Hi, I’m currently trying to develop a method to get a overview of all my different web templates I’ve created and (legally) downloaded over the years. I thought about a displaying them like Wordpress is previewing it’s templates view a small preview windows, displaying the concrete file with styles and everything. How to divide them into rows and columns and create AJAX modal window open on preview and pagination and so on I believe I can manage, but it is the concept itself about iterate over several folders then find all index.htm / index.html pages and displaying them. I’ve not worked very much with directories in PHP and the only references and code stumps I’ve found so far is just to list all the files in a certain directory like, what it contains. I would be really grateful if someone knew about a script, a function, snippet or just could get me a nudge in the right direction to create such a (probably simple) preview function. Sincere Mestika

  • jQuery.post not working when using data type json

    - by swift
    I have been trying to utilize json in this jQuery.post because I need to return two values from my executed php. The code was working when I was not implementing json. I need to see if a promo code entered is valid for a particular broker. The two variables I need back are the instant message whether or not it's valid (this is displayed to the user) and I need to update a hidden field that will be used later while updating the database. The jQuery.post does not seem to be firing at all, but the code directly above it (the ajax-loader.gif) is working. I did re-write the whole thing at one point using jQuery.ajax, and had issues there too. Granted, I have probably been looking at this too long and have tried to re-write too many times, but any help is greatly appreciated!! Here's the jQuery.post <!-- Below Script is for Checking Promo Code Against Database--> <script type="text/javascript"> jQuery(document).ready(function() { jQuery("#promocode").keyup(function (e) { //removes spaces from PromoCode jQuery(this).val(jQuery(this).val().replace(/\s/g, '')); var promocode = jQuery(this).val(); var brokerdealerid = document.getElementById("BrokerDealerId").value; if(promocode.length > 0 ){ jQuery("#promo-result").html('<img src="../imgs/ajax-loader.gif" />'); jQuery.post( '../check_promocode.php', {promocode:promocode, brokerdealerid:brokerdealerid}, function(data) { $("#promo-result").html(data.promoresult); $("#promo-result-valid").html(data.promovalid); }, "json"); } }); }); </script> <!-- End Script is for Checking Promo Code Against Database--> Here's relevant code from check_promocode.php: //sanitize incoming parameters if (isset($_POST['brokerdealerid'])) $brokerdealerid = sanitizeMySQL($_POST['brokerdealerid']); $promocode = sanitizeMySQL($promocode); //check promocode in db $results = mysql_query("SELECT PromotionCodeIdentifier FROM PromotionCode WHERE PromotionCodeIdentifier='$promocode' AND BrokerDealerId='$brokerdealerid' AND PromotionCodStrtDte <= CURDATE() AND PromotionCodExpDte >= CURDATE()"); //return total count $PromoCode_exist = mysql_num_rows($results); //total records //if value is more than 0, promocode is valid if($PromoCode_exist) { echo json_encode(array("promoresult"=>"Promotion Code Valid", "promovalid"=>"Y")); exit(); }else{ echo json_encode(array("promoresult"=>"Invalid Promotion Code", "promovalid"=>"N")); exit(); }

  • Problem using Min(field)

    - by Todd
have these two queries: SELECT classroomid AS crid, startdate AS msd FROM unitTemplates where classroomid = 6 GROUP BY classroomid and: SELECT classroomid AS crid, Min(startdate) AS msd FROM unitTemplates where classroomid = 6 GROUP BY classroomid The second query uses the minimum function. There is only one record in my table with a classroomid of 6. The first query returns msd = 20100505, the second query returns msd = 0 (instead of the expected 20100505). If I change the "Min" to "Max" it returns the highest (and only) startdate (20100505). Why doesn't MySQL like the Min function I'm using?

  • How come $(this) is undefined after ajax call

    - by JohnnyQ
I am doing an ajax request when an anchor tag is clicked with an ID set to href. Btw, this anchor tag is dynamically created. <a href="983" class="commentDeleteLink">delete</a> When the anchor tag is clicked the following code is executed: $('.commentDeleteLink').live('click', function(event) { event.preventDefault(); var result = confirm('Proceed?'); if ( result ) { $.ajax({ url: window.config.AJAX_REQUEST, type: "POST", data: { action : 'DELCOMMENT', comment : $('#commentText').val(), comment_id : $(this).attr('href') }, success: function(result) { alert($(this).attr('href')); //$(this).fadeOut(slow); } }); } }); When I tried to display $(this).attr('href') it says it's "undefined". What I really want to do is fadeOut the anchor tag but when I investigated the value of $(this) it is "undefined". What could be wrong with the snippet above?

  • Replace Emails and HREFS with enclosing HREFS in C#

    - by Nissan Fan
I have an Email body that used to be plain text, but now I've made it HTML. The emails are generated using a number of methods and none of them are easy to convert. What I have is: Some content [email protected], some http://www.somewebsite/someurl.aspx. What I'd like to do is create a function that automatically encloses all email addresses and all URLs withing a string in HREF tags so that the HTML email reads properly in all email clients. Does anyone have a function for this?

  • How can you generate the same MD5 Hashcode in C# and Java?

    - by Sem Dendoncker
Hi, I have a function that generates a MD5 hash in C# like this: MD5 md5 = new MD5CryptoServiceProvider(); byte[] result = md5.ComputeHash(data); StringBuilder sb = new StringBuilder(); for (int i = 0; i < result.Length; i++) { sb.Append(result[i].ToString("X2")); } return sb.ToString(); In java my function looks like this: MessageDigest m = MessageDigest.getInstance("MD5"); m.update(bytes,0,bytes.length); String hashcode = new BigInteger(1,m.digest()).toString(16); return hashcode; While the C# code generates: "02945C9171FBFEF0296D22B0607D522D" the java codes generates: "5a700e63fa29a8eae77ebe0443d59239". Is there a way to generate the same md5 hash for the same bytearray? Cheers

  • How to test if Scala combinator parser matches a string

    - by W.P. McNeill
I have a Scala combinator parser that handles comma-delimited lists of decimal numbers. object NumberListParser extends RegexParsers { def number: Parser[Double] = """\d+(\.\d*)?""".r ^^ (_.toDouble) def numbers: Parser[List[Double]] = rep1sep(number, ",") def itMatches(s: String): Boolean = parseAll(numbers, s) match { case _: Success[_] => true case _ => false } } The itMatches function returns true when given a string that matches the pattern. For example: NumberListParser.itMatches("12.4,3.141") // returns true NumberListParser.itMatches("bogus") // returns false Is there a more terse way to do this? I couldn't find one in the documentation, but my function sees a bit verbose, so I wonder if I'm overlooking something.

  • How to add visible menu item from php code (drupal)

    - by uta
I have a content type with important "created" date field. And I have a menu link (in primary links) which is link to page that shows list of all nodes of my content type. (http://example.com/mycontenttype) I want to have menu links (visible in primary links) to each year when nodes of my content type are displayed (http://example.com/mycontenttype/2010). And I want to add these menu links from mymodule_nodeapi function, when the node is creating and only if it has a "created" date of new year. I know that I can create a pathes in mymodule_menu function, but it doesn't create a visible menu item. (Maybe I can somehow set parent_link_id or something else to do it?)

  • Checking for multiple images loaded

    - by Stanni
Hi, I'm using the canvas feature of html5. I've got some images to draw on the canvas and I need to check that they have all loaded before I can use them. I have declared them inside an array, I need a way of checking if they have all loaded at the same time but I am not sure how to do this. Here is my code: var color = new Array(); color[0] = new Image(); color[0].src = "green.png"; color[1] = new Image(); color[1].src = "blue.png"; Currently to check if the images have loaded, I would have to do it one by one like so: color[0].onload = function(){ //code here } color[1].onload = function(){ //code here } If I had a lot more images, Which I will later in in development, This would be a really inefficient way of checking them all. How would I check them all at the same time?

  • Isotope active class when using select menu

    - by Michael
I am using Metafizzy's Isotope plugin and have it set up to filter using a select menu as seen here: http://jsfiddle.net/trewknowledge/jJZEN/ $(function() { var $container = $('#container'), $select = $('#filters select'); $container.isotope({ itemSelector: '.item' }); $select.change(function() { var filters = $(this).val(); ; $container.isotope({ filter: filters }); }); });? What I am trying to figure out is how I would add a highlight/active class to the selected elements when the filters variable is already being used.
