    A few days ago, I posted this question and this question asking about how to post "Hello World" to twitter. I've gotten helpful responses, which have propelled me further along, but I'm still lost. I need to use OAuth because (as I read it) using username and password is going to be deprecated soon. I need an example as simple as updating the status with the string constant 'Hello World!'. My client is specifying that I must use C#.

  • Running 2 threads simultaneously

    In the case of an IM client. I have made 2 separate threads to handle sending packets (by std io) and receiving packets. The question is how to make these 2 threads run simultaneously so that I can keep prompting for input while at the same time be ready to receive packets at any time? I have already tried setting a timer but the data is always lost receiving.

  • Looking for WebAii Framework free edition online - before the Telerik merge

    Art of Test produced a nice UI testing tool for free -- WebAii Framework-- that I've been using to add client-side DOM unit tests to my projects. Recently they merged with Telerik and it's now a commercial product. From free to $1500 is suddenly very expensive. Does anybody know if the community edition is still available, or even the last free version is available for download? At least I can finish off with that.

  • If I'm running my App Engine app on localhost, will I not see a value for X-AppEngine-Country?

    According to the Release Notes: All user request have an X-AppEngine-Country header which contains the ISO-3166-1 alpha-2 country code for the user, based on the IP address of the client request. My app is running on localhost with the 1.5.1 Java release which contains the X-AppEngine-Country header but I don't seem to be receiving any value for this header in my requests. Do I have to deploy the app to a production instance to test this feature?

  • Is it expensive to hold on to PreparedStatements? (Java & JDBC)

    I'm trying to figure out if it's efficient for me to cache all of my statements when I create my database connection or if I should only create those that are most used and create the others if/when they're needed..   • HTTP 403.9 - Access Forbidden: Too many users are connected

    hi I have created an application in VStudio. It ran nicely in debugging mode, but my computer became slower and slower as I worked until it finaly became frozen. after I manualy restarted it, the app wasn't running any more in debug and I get this execption in the browser. Only I am connected right now to the app. I have restarted the computer so there coudn't be any instance of a client connected I have removed and reinstalled the IIS what is wrong?

Now if I or my clent upload the CMS in any server how will it work. because there is no database in that server. And in my php code I wrote to create database. Now how can i create a CMS which can automatically create database and tables where client doesn't have to know about anything besides uploading the CMS.

  • "Ambiguous column name" error on one particular server

    This simple query throws the "Ambiguous column name TaskID" error on one db-server only. This is ridiculous. We tested this with the same database structure on different servers and different versions of ms sql (2005/2008), and it's only THIS particular client's server that throws the error. I'm actually frustrated. SELECT Tasks.TaskID FROM Tasks INNER JOIN TaskHelpers ON TaskHelpers.TaskID = Tasks.TaskID order by TaskID Yes, I know I can put "Tasks.TaskID" into the order by clause, but for some reasons I can't.

Basic scheme is: There will be client software on each user PC which will extract domain information on http requests and decide if it's already available on server or not. I cannot necessarily do super(client); in my constructor which is what the book did with some primitive types in their example. Not sure what the correct thing to do is... Any thoughts? Thanks!
