• How do I make a Data Validation drop-down exclude blanks?

  Related: How can I use non-adjacent cells on another sheet for a Data Validation drop-down, and only show non-blank values? For now, I've worked around the above problem by re-arranging my sheet so all the Data Validation Source cells are in one range. I'm leaving the above question open though, because I think it still poses an interesting problem. However, the issue now is that the Data Validation drop-down isn't working in the way I expected it to (and how I believe others are telling me it should). Even though I've got everything into one named range, Excel still shows blanks in a drop-down that references that range. Setup: Sheet 1 A1= (blank) B1= Header A2= 1 B2= Value1 A3= 2 B3= Value2 A4= 3 B4= Value3 A5= 4 B5= (empty) A6= 5 B6= (empty) A7= 6 B7= (empty) Sheet1!B2:B7 is named Validation Sheet2!A1 is set to use Data Validation with a Source =Validation, and in-cell drop-down. The drop-down in Sheet2!A1 shows: Value1 Value2 Value3 . . . (Dots represent blank lines) How can I get rid of these blank lines in the in-cell drop-down, while still including Sheet1!B5:B7 in the Data Validation Source? Note: I nuked the sheet, and tried it again without column A from Sheet1 (putting values from column B in the above example into column A), and it worked fine. Adding Column A back though, brought the blanks back into the Data Validation drop-down. What do I need to do to keep column A as I want it and keep the in-cell drop-down clean?

• Packages are not available for installation

  Changing some Software Update settings I possibly corrupted something, and now I don't see many packages in the list. Done E: Unable to locate package codeblocks I checked all options in the Software Sources dialog, but packages are still not available. How can I fix this? OS: Ubuntu 12.04, 64 bit. This is a short post to let you know that ObjectStorageHelper is now available in the nuget gallery and hence can easily be added to your WinRT applications by running the following command in the nuget Package Manager Console: Massive thanks to Scott Lovegrove (@scottisafool) for helping me with this making this happen.   In Ubuntu 11.04 Server when I would log in via ssh it would tell me how many packages are available for updating in the welcome message. After upgrading to 11.10 I no longer get that information. As you know, I am publishing many small booklets, and eventually I will publishing a single big book also – sort of the track/cd model. Also, this self-e-publish model allows me to keep the content updated as I learn more. There is a very minor portion at the end that is still pre-RTM. Specifically as of now SharePoint Designer 2013 and Visual Studio tools for SharePoint 2013 have not yet RTM’ed. However, installing those is not very different from Beta2. • ifconfig : Command 'ifconfig' is available in '/sbin/ifconfig'

  My question is related to another open question. My echo $PATH gives me an output which is like /home/sahil/.rvm/gems/ruby-1.9.3-p125/bin:/home/sahil/.rvm/gems/ruby-1.9.3-p125@global/bin:/home/sahil/.rvm/rubies/ruby-1.9.3-p125/bin:/home/sahil/.rvm/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/games:/home/sahil/.rvm/bin{}:/home/android-sdks/{}:/home/android-sdks/platform-tools/{}:/home/android-sdks/tools/{}:/home/sahil/android-sdks/tools{}:/home/sahil/android-sdks/tools:/home/sahil/android-sdks/platform-tools/ But running ifconfig gives me an output like Command 'ifconfig' is available in '/sbin/ifconfig' The command could not be located because '/sbin' is not included in the PATH environment variable. This is most likely caused by the lack of administrative privileges associated with your user account. ifconfig: command not found after running command like given in other question export PATH="/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games" it runs ifconfig but blocks other commands of ruby rails or rvm. Seeking help how to resolve this. Also why this happens?

They were last changed in July 2010 and released as DSTv14. DSTv15 is now available and certified with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11i and 12. It is a very well rounded option to explore the new products. 2010 Information Worker Demonstration and Evaluation Virtual Machine Note:  It is important to understand you will need a system with Hyper-V to import this VM and get it off and working.  Also, make sure you keep a copy of the original unpacked VM as this is based on a trial version of the OS (time bombed) and there is a chance to rearm the VM, but you are better off either keeping the original files or taking a snapshot as soon as the VM is living in your Hyper-V environment.

It has been an intense two days, packed with great content and a lot of networking. Organizing it jointly with the Manageability Partner Forum has allowed participants to benefit from the content of the Manageability sessions, which is a topic that is becoming key as we move to cloud architectures. During the sessions we have listened to two thought-leaders in our industry, Ron Tolido, from Capgemni, and Julian Dontcheff, from Accenture. We thank our Exadata partners -ISE (Germany), Inserve (Sweden), Fors (Russia), Linkplus (Turkey) and Sogeti,  for sharing with the community their experiences in selling and implementing Exadata and Manageability projects.
