    This is my first time developing Android applications. I'm developing an Android app on Eclipse on Windows 7. I would like to run the Android app from the Windows 7 command line interface. I have my Android device connected to the PC. The workspace directory that I use to store the Android project is C:\Users\Guest\Desktop\Software Applications Development\Java\Android Moblie Applications Projects\Eclipse Indigo for Java EE x64-bit\project workspace I opened the command line interface and I changed the working directory to the Android workspace directory. cd C:\Users\Guest\Desktop\Software Applications Development\Java\Android Moblie Applications Projects\Eclipse Indigo for Java EE x64-bit\project workspace I included Android sdk platform tools directory into the PATH environment variable. c:\Users\admin\Android-sdks\platform-tools Then I entered this into the Windows 7 command line interface: ant debug I have this error message on the cmd: ant is not recognised as an internal or external command, operatable program or batch file. What is the solution to this problem?

  • Excel 2010 -Excel cannot complete this task with available resources

    Getting this error when trying to sort a document (Excel cannot complete this task with available resources). Document isn't particularly large, about 4,000 lines. Can't seem to figure out why this would start on this. I can sort this same file fine on everything back to Excel 2000 on older crappy computers. Computer is running Win 7 x64, 16 Gb RAM, and another 16 Gb of virtual. There's no possible way that all of the memory is actually getting exhausted when I can perform this on an older XP machine with 512 Mb of RAM, unless 2010's memory usage is inconceivably poorly designed. I found a few posts on forums stating that there might be a security update related bug. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  • Korn shell wraparound

    Okay, I'm sure this is simple but it is driving me nuts. I recently went to work on a program where I've had to step back in time a bit and use Redhat 9. When I'm typing on the command line from a standard xterm running Korn shell, when I reach the end of the line the screen slides to the right (cutting off the left side of my command) instead of wrapping the text around to a new line. This makes things difficult for me because I can't easily copy and paste from the previous command straight from the command line. I have to look at the history and paste the command from there. In case you're wondering, I do a lot of command-line awk scripts that cause the line to get quite long. Is there a way to force the command line to wrap instead of shifting visibility to the right side of the command I'm typing? I've poured through man page options with no luck. I'm running XFree86 4.2.99.903(174) and KSH 5.2.14. Thanks.

Is there an elegant way to access the string resources of ASP.NET membership provider to use them in custom controls? Creating for example CreateUserWizard, extracting the resources and throwing away the control seems a little bit rustic to me.

    I am using java port of fpdf. I am encountering fowwlowing errors. 1).When i call multicell 2 times every time the text is printed on a new line. MultiCell(0, 1, "abcd", currentBorders, Alignment.LEFT, false); //prints on one line MultiCell(0, 1, "efg", currentBorders, Alignment.LEFT, false); //prints on next line I want that there is no line break after the call to multicell. How can i do it? 2)If i do the following thing then some part of my string gets printed on one line and some on next. MultiCell(getStringWidth(myString), 1, myStringcurrentBorders, Alignment.LEFT, false); 3)If i do the following thing then there are many blank lines after the line on which myString is printed.   • getline at a certain line for file IO

    Is there anyway to use getline to read a specific line within a file? For instance, to immediately read line #20? It seems inefficient to do any type of look to read and discard earlier lines. I know about fseek, but there is no guarantee that the records will be the same length on each line. I imagine this is simply what is required in order to find lines. After all, to know when the end of the line has been reached, it needs to find the break line character, so it makes sense for it to need to read each line. Just wondering if there was any quicker method.

When I'm viewing this in HTML i get the following.     I have a problem using a Resources.resx - Resources.de.resx - combination in a C#/WPF project. The whole solutions contains several projects and some projects contains resource files. When starting the main project I can switch the language successfully from english to german. But the GUI elements from the sub projects still show the english text.     I have 2 layers. A lines layer and a points layer. For any given line, how can I find the points that intersect the envelope of the line, but not the line itself, or more specifically, not the to point or from point of the line. I can obviously find all the points that intersect the line's envelope, and then do 1 by 1 tests on the found points to see if they intersect the to or from points of the line, but I was hoping there is an easier, faster way to do something of this nature.

    I am attempting to compile and run one visual C++ program (project1) from another visual C++ program (project2) using msbuild and other commands available in the Visual studio command line tool but not in the windows command line tool. Everything works fine if I run it in the visual studio command line tool. For example I can build using msbuild and it works just as I want it to. When I try to run the same command in my C++ program using system(), the system call appears to use the Windows command line and therefore cannot find any of the commands (msbuild in this example). I am new to working with system() on windows (although I have extensive experience with it using Linux). Is there some way to make my C++ program use the Visual Studio command line environment when I call system (rather than Windows command line environment)? Using the command window manually is not an option. I need to compile and test a series of 200-300 different versions of the program in the project1. This is why I am writing program2

    I want to draw a line with thickness in j2me. This can easily be achieved in desktop java by setting Pen width as thickness value. However in j2me, Pen class does not support width. That is, even if the text wrapped to multiple lines, the image would be centered against a single line.
