It is possible to load a class given a String and its name? ie "MyClass.class"
Further, is it possible to pass parameters to the constructor using this method?
I want to create a plugin called 'myPlugin'. Which method should I use and what is the difference between these two methods? Please tell me the advantages too. I am from designing background and not much programming knowledge.
var myPlugin = {
myId:"testId",
create:function(){},
destroy:function(){}
}
OR
function myPlugin() {
this.myId = "testId";
this.create = function(){};
this.destroy = function(){};
}
I have anywhere from 5 to 10 generic list in an ASP.NET VB.NET web app. I would like to write a method to pass them all into, and return only the elements they all have in common.
I'm looking for some ideas how to accomplish this the easiest and cleanest way possible.
I am using a Dictionary to store data, and will be caching it. I would like to avoid server memory issues, and have good performance by limiting the size of the Dictionary<, either in size or number of entries.
What is the best method of doing this? Is there another class I should be considering other than a Dictionary?
Hello. I dont know how to acces my method of my class ProjectNode, that is returned from ExplorerManager mgr like this:
mgr.getRootContext().setSomething()
getRootContext() returns Node object, but I put class ProjectNode (extends AbstractNode, abstractNode extends Node)into rootContext.
The compiler does not want to eat that line of code. But it must!
w3schools says that exceptions can be strings, integers, booleans, or objects, but the example given doesn't strike me as good practice, since exception type checking is done through string comparison. Is this the preferred method of exception handling in JavaScript? Are there built-in exception types (like NullPointerException)? (if so, what are they, what kind of inheritance do they use, and are they preferred over other options?)
I am familiar with impersonating an account in .net by using:
dim myIdentity as WindowsIdentity = someIdentity
using ctx as WindowsImpersonationContext = myIdentity.Impersonate()
doStuff()
end using
Is it possible to define a .net attribute so that I could write something like:
< runAsUser(someIdentity) public sub doStuff()
and then have the .net framework always impersonate when running the method doStuff()?
I want to display a login view to my users if they are not logged in and the main view if they are.
In my header file I define a variable to hold the logged in status
#define loggedIn 0
I figure I should then reference this in the initWithNibName method and then decide which nib to load.
Is the right way of doing it?
If so can someone help me out with the exact code?
Thanks for any help
Hello,
I have got four classes A, B, C and D.
Class A has a member b of class
B.
Class B has a member c of class C.
A has a member D* dpointer;
This hierarchy has to be preserved (in fact this is a GUI with app, window, panel as A, B and C).
Now B and C must use a method from *dpointer.
Is there something more elegant than giving dpointer as a member of B and C ?
I have a custom UITableViewCell that loads in a programmatically created UITableView that is pushed from another view onto a UINavigationController, why cant i specify the height of my cells? The other weird thing is that when i push the cell, the didSelectRowAtIndexPath:indexPath method isn't called.
I'm trying to include the elements of an array in the NSString that's returned by the -description method in my class. No clue how to do this in Objective-C...in Java there's string concatenation or StringBuilder, what's the equivalent in Obj-C?
TIA..
Hi, I have a struts app with a jsp with the code:
...
...
<input name="inrofol" class="inputfilter" id="inrofol" size="22" maxlength="20" type="text">
...
And even though it's not linked to the associated form bean, I get the exception
Error 500: No getter method for property: "inrofol" of bean: "com.test.forms.CompForm"
Any hints ? Thanks
defined variable:
LinkedList list1=new LinkedList();
Object get() in list1 obtains a node of list1
Object remove() in list1 deletes a node of list1
count() is length of list1
for(int i=1;i<list1.count();i++){
if(list1.get(i).startsWith('"',0)) //Error here
list1.remove(i);
}
Error: cannot find symbol
symbol: method charAt(int)
location: class Object
how to fix this problem?
I would like to delete the node in list1 which starts with (").
I remember seeing a while ago that there is some method in maybe the Reflection namespace that would recursively run ToString() on all of an object's properties and format it nicely for display.
Yes, I know everything I could want will be accessible through the debugger, but I'm wondering if anyone knows that command?
.NET contains its own equality comparison functionality, however I don't really understand how it works.
If the desired Equals() and == behaviour is to verify that every field of an object is equal to every field of another object, is it necessary to override Equals() with a method that does this explicitly?
div
{
margin:90px auto;
}
This code centers the div in chrome with a top margin of 90px, but the results are different in all other browsers ..
is there a common method to center the div and have a top margin at the same time ?
How can I write a recursive search that I avoid cycles.
My class is this:
class Component(var name: String, var number: Int, var subComponent: Set[Component])
Now I need a way to check whether a component is contained within its subcomponent or between subcomponent of its subcomponent and so on.Avoiding possible cycles caused by other Component.
My method of recursive search must have the following signature,
where subC is the Set [component] of comp.
def content (comp: Component, subC: Set[Component]) : Boolean = {
}
Thanks for the help.
C# 4.0 has a lot of new major features such as dynamic type, covariance and contravariance, named arguments etc.
But C# 4.0 contains new minor (but useful) changes such as TryParse method for TimeSpan, Enum, Guid data types, String.IsNullOrWhiteSpace, System.IO.Stream.CopyTo etc.
What other minor and useful features of C# 4.0 can you list?
Are Zend_Db_Select's where() method, when including the optional value to quite into, and Zend_Db_Adapte's quoteInto() methods basically the same as far as escaping SQL?
In other words, are these two pieces of quote identical and equally secure?
$select->where($this->getAdapter()->quoteInto('id = ?', 3));
$select->where(id = ?, 3);
Thanks!
I have a method like:
public T Get<T>(string key)
{
}
Now say I want to return "hello" if the type is a string, and 110011 if it is type int.
how can I do that?
typeof(T) doesn't seem to work.
I ideally want to do a switch statement, and return something based on the Type of the generic (string/int/long/etc).
Is this possible?
I have an Java class, like Library, that contains many fields. I want do ajax call to server

I'm hesitating whether or not to use this mechanism. PHP Doc says autoloading is not available if using PHP in CLI interactive mode. So, should we avoid to use this method for just in case, your application get installed in a host happenly running PHP in CLI ?
