  • How to determine what program send the packet recorded in Wireshark?

    I was taking some tutorials on Wireshark in order to analyze the packets sent and received when talking to a web server for purposes of learning. When I start listening/recording packets in Wireshark, there where so many packages being recorded (700 packages per minute). Is it normal to have that much traffic if I have all the programs that will cause traffic such as all browsers, log me in, dropbox, goto meeting, etc., closed? In order to try to solve the problem I am analyzing random packets. Take for instance this filter: I just selected a random IP: 74.125.130.99. So how can I know from what program those packets where created? Also how can I get more info about that communication bwtween my computer (192.168.0.139) and that server (74.125.130.99)? I just selected a random IP from the Wireshark capture. There are also other IPs that I have no idea why they are communicating with my computer. How can I figure that out?

    I'm using diigo extension in Chrome browser and feel quite tired of clicking the diigo icon every time I want to bookmark. I'm looking for a way to have a hotkey for it but can't find it in the option of diigo. I tried solution suggested by makeuseof website but the diigo booklet doesn't work as great as the extension - it requires to sign in again and again... !? If you have any work-around to get the hotkey for diigo, please share! Thank you!

    Is it possible to have an online site to see the list/collection of installed extensions of the Chrome browsers installed among my PCs? Please share. ps. I notice that we have the Chrome backup feature which will restore my chrome extensions after we sign in via a Google account. So I need to see the list online somewhere so that to disabled/remove the extensions that I don't wanna waste time reinstalling.

  • Could not use domain name instead of static IP

    Hi, I'm working with some partners in the UK. My office is in Vietnam. We are having a network problem: My partner can access an internal website using the domain name, e.g. http://website.name, but I can only access that website using the direct IP, e.g. 192.168.1.85. I can not ping that web server using "ping website.name" but it works if I using "ping 192.168.1.85". I want to use the domain name. Please help.

  • Is there a software in windows that enables you to boot from a specific partition?

    I use acronis true image to mount images to my primary partition and it works great. lets say I have 3 partitions on my hard disk and all of them each is 600 GB. In the 3rd partition I keep files (documents, pictures etc), on the first partition is my primary partition where the operating system runs (windows 7). And in the 2nd partition is empty. I have an image of my primary partition and I save that image in my 3rd partition (50 GB is the size of the image so it fits in the partition number 3) and in an external hard drive. I know it is possible to install a new operating system in partition 2 such as windows xp but the only problem is that once I install that how could I tell the computer to boot from partition 1? is there a way to switch back and forth just like it's possible in the mac?

  • Filtering a dropdown in Angular IE11 issue

    I have a requirement for a select html element that can be duplicated multiple times on a page. The options for these select elements all come from a master list. All of the select elements can only show all of the items in the master list that have not been selected in any of the other select elements unless they just were duplicated. So I wrote a custom filter to do this in Angular and it seems to work just fine provided you are not using IE11. In IE when you select a new item from a duplicated select element, it seems to select the option after the one you selected even though the model still has the correct one set. I realize this sounds convoluted, so I created a jFiddle example. Using IE 11 try these steps: Select Bender Click the duplicate link Select Fry Notice that the one that is selected is Leela but the model still has Fry (id:2) as the one selected Now if you do the same thing in Chrome everything works as expected. Can anyone tell me how I might get around this or what I might be doing wrong?     I'm looking for a way to specify required js files by an angular app. So that, we don't need to include an array of tag for all the files which may be required by some ng-app. The main idea behind this requirement is - we might not need to load all the resources on the browser at once. Which ever ng-app gets loaded onto the screen, will fetch its dependencies on its own from the server. Is there any existing way within angularJS to achieve this goal..?
