• JSP cant find bean Class using "" modifiers

  Hey I'm using Netbeans for my IDE and I'm getting an error when I try to run my EJB program. I get an error when I declare and give the path of the class in my JSP to a bean. <jsp:useBean id="book" class="BookBean.Book" scope="application" /> <jsp:setProperty name="book" property="*" /> When I run the program I get this error javax.servlet.ServletException: java.lang.InstantiationException: class BookBean.Book : java.lang.IllegalAccessException: Class java.beans.Beans can not access a member of class BookBean.Book with modifiers "" and java.lang.InstantiationException: class BookBean.Book : java.lang.IllegalAccessException: Class java.beans.Beans can not access a member of class BookBean.Book with modifiers "" I removed the "" and put in '' to see if that works, but it doesn't. Any idea? I also put a breakpoint there and it def. is the root of the problem. Thanks.

  I have a core data model that has a one to many relationship, there is a category, and it can contain many subcategories. Category <---- Subcategory I am trying to perform a fetch that checks if a particular Category contains a Subcategory with a particular name. Let's say I have two categories below, I want to fetch to see if there are any subcategories name "Apple" in the Category named "Fruits". • Linux software RAID6: 3 drives offline - how to force online?

  This is similar to 3 drives fell out of Raid6 mdadm - rebuilding? except that it is not due to a failing cable. Instead the 3rd drive fell offline during rebuild of another drive. The drive failed with: kernel: end_request: I/O error, dev sdc, sector 293732432 kernel: md/raid:md0: read error not correctable (sector 293734224 on sdc). After rebooting both these sectors and the sectors around them are fine. This leads me to believe the error is intermittent and thus the device simply took too long to error correct the sector and remap it. I expect that no data was written to the RAID after it failed. Therefore I hope that if I can kick the last failing device online that the RAID is fine and that the xfs_filesystem is OK, maybe with a few missing recent files. Taking a backup of the disks in the RAID takes 24 hours, so I would prefer that the solution works the first time. It never occurs on ActiveCell.Validation.Delete which I find weird? I have been all over google trying to find a solution, and most suggest that it is caused by running dynamic validation code from a button which hogs focus despite the Activate call, but I am running on sheet change event rather than on button press so I don't think this is my issue - any ideas? I've wasted basically a whole day on this! :(

• App.config path not correctly interpreted by ASP.NET Application

  Hello everyone ! I'm working on a very old project (2000) in VB6 which was "modernized" and upgraded to VB.NET 3.5. I've centralized every old INI configuration file into one MainApp.config, which is referenced by the app.config of every component. There's an VB ASP.NET website in the solution, which uses DLL components, which are looking into app.config for parameters like, say, error log directory, etc. I've deployed the site on my dev. server (Windows 2008 Server w/ IIS 7.0) into the D:\WebSite\ directory. Problem: When running the site, an error occurs. A DLL is looking into app.config for the parameter RepertoireErreur which has the value .\Erreurs\ Instead of returning D:\WebSite\Erreurs\ it returns c:\windows\system32\inetsrv\.\Erreurs\ which doesn't contain the Erreurs directory. Boom. Error. Does anyone have ever encountered the same problem ? Is there a solution ? Thanks,

  I am working with UIWebView project and I want to load an HTML file from a project resource. It is working fine when I run from the URL, but when I view the HTML file locally, JS files are not loaded. Loading the local HTML local file doesn't refer to js files in UIWebView. • Localhost service accessible from remote address

  I have on my home Windows box - Cassini server with localhost:10000. And I want it be accessible in internet by my static IP. Tried netcat, "nc -l -p 10001 localhost 10000". But it results in "invalid connection to [IP] from [IP] 16074" Also before that it was working on Opera Unite properly, but now only writes a message: "An error occured. See error log for details". I dont know where to get that log.

  Hello, Im executing sql query on my database. I have sql server 2008 installed on my D harddrive which has 55 GB free space. I have also C drive which has sth like 150 MB free (right now). While executing that query on quite a big table (16 GB) I have an error: An error occurred while executing batch. Error message is: Not enough disc space. I would like to know if there is any possibility that I can make Sql server to use D drive instead of C Or maybe there is any other problem with what Im doing ? Thanks for help

  Hi there. I'm having major issues with getting Hudson up and running on a gentoo server with Tomcat 6. I'm able to deploy Hudson just fine, and I can browse the web-application, configure it and set up builds etc. However, when I try to run a build (in example "clean test" on a Maven2 project) I get this error ERROR: Failed to create /dev/null/.m2 I've google'd and for some it seems to be helping to put -DHUDSON_HOME=/home/hudson and -DMAVEN_HOME=/home/hudson in /etc/init.d/tomcat-6's JAVA_OPTS. However, I've tried that and by doing the same in /etc/conf.d/tomcat-6 , but I'm still getting this error. Has any of you had to deal with this before?

• App closes after facebook login in IOS 5

  I am using facebook sdk 3.1 framework for my application. The login process works successfully and returns to the app after facebook login both in simulator(iOS 6.0 and 5.0) and in iPad(iOS 6). But When the same is deployed in IPad with IOS 5, after login, it does not return back to my application and shows a blank white Screen or sometimes my application closes. I dont know what went wrong in iOS 5 and facebook sdk 3.1 framework, also i am not getting any logs to debug... • jquery animate() problem (syntax ?)

But i debugged it with jquery.lint because it was throwing some random error in IE. lint tells me: When I called animate(...) with your args, an error was thrown! TypeError: c.speed is not a function { message="c.speed is not a function", more...} You passed: [Object { marginLeft="-=640px"}, 800, function()] and it indicates me the line i have posted. I have checked the jquery doc, but my syntax seams ok. Do you know what i am doing wrong? • Vista 32-Bit Home Premium will not let me install any updates.

  Windows update says that it could not search for new updates and gives the error code 80070643. From what I have read it has something to do with Office 2003 and I dont even have it installed. I tried downloading and installing vista sp2 but it fails as well giving me error: ERROR_EVT_CONFIGURATION_ERROR(0x89973aa2). Can someone please help me resolve this issue?

  I'm playing with kernel module hiding on Linux Kernel 3.x. I try to hide and recover the module from /sys/module. Everything works fine on Kernel Version 3.0 and 3.2.6, I can load and unload the module and hide and unhide it. When I'm unloading the module on kernel 3.6.6 I get the following error: rmmod: ERROR: could not open '/sys/module/xxx/holders': No such file or directory rmmod: ERROR: Module xxx is in use Has anybody an idea how I could restore of the module so that I am able to unload it without errors? • Is my external hard drive dying?

  I keep getting this error lately when I try to copy large (200+ MB) files over to my external. Following this, the disk becomes unresponsive and I got to unplug it and plug it in again to work. The copy process also is unreasonably slow. It is worth noting that this happens on Windows too, so it's not the notorious "Error -36" bug OS X had prior to 10.6.3. The disk is a Western Digital 3200BMV. Any ideas?

  Hello, I'm working on the app that uses CoreData. There is location entity that holds latitude and longitude values. I'd like to fetch those entities sorted by distance to the user's location. I tried to set sort descriptor to distance formula sqrt ((x1 - x2)^2 + (y1 - y2)^2) but it fails with exception "... keypath ... not found in entity".
