  What I want to do is pretty simple: f=Foobar.objects.get(id=1) foo='somefield' bar='somevalue' f.foo=bar f.save() This doesn't work as it tries to update the f object's 'foo' field, which of course doesn't exist. How can I accomplish this?

  It seems that JMenuItems don't automatically resize any image icon that's assigned to them, and from what I can tell, there isn't a property that makes them automatically do that, either. Is anyone aware of a way that I can programatically resize the Icon for a JMenuItem? It seems like the Icon object is lacking functionality as it is, unless there's some other function that can actually deal with Icon objects.

For instance, if an object is 4bytes, then can we divide the available virtual memory by 4 bytes to give an estimate of how many more objects could be stored by the program safely?   Simple question - is the C++ API provided by Perforce thread-safe? There is no mention of it in the documentation. By "thread-safe" I mean for server requests from the client. Obviously there will be issues if I have multiple threads trying to set client names and such on the same connection. But given a single connection object, can I have multiple threads fetching changelists, getting status, translating files through a p4 map, etc.?
