Using java.io is simple, but I don't know how to access android resources or assets using it. And I can't write methods that operate on FileInputStreams instead, because some files contain references to another ones, so I need a way to access them from the method code. Any suggestions?

    I am just wondering if you are supposed to write a sort of really secure application with data being transmitted over insecure networks, what kind of encryption algorithm will you use it in order to make it safe ? I know several c++ libraries for encryption providing nice functions with different algorithms, but i'm not quite sure which cipher to use - AES, DES, RSA, Blowfish or maybe something more different ?   • Android Camera exit rotate

    I am first time to write a camera app. At program, I am using setRequestedOrientation(ActivityInfo.SCREEN_ORIENTATION_LANDSCAPE) and android:screenOrientation="landscape" in Manifest to set the landscape screen. My problem is when use System.exit() or Intent. The screen will change to portrait automatically. But in my program, it haven't set any screen orientation again. How can I prevent this problem?     From the number of questions posted here, it's clear that people have some pretty fundemental issues when getting their heads around pointers and pointer arithmetic. I'm curious to know why. They've never really caused me major problems (although I first learned about them back in the Neolithic). In order to write better answers to these questions, I'd like to know what people find difficult. I've been given a class declaration in a header file eg. #ifndef file_H #define file_H class ex{ private: public: }; #endif and I've been required to write the method definitions in the same file, which I have done, my question is does the "#endif" stay where it is just after the class declaration or does it go at the end of my file after the class method definitions?.
