  • Single DispatcherServlet with Multiple Controllers

    I am trying to create some restful web services using Spring MVC 3.0. I currently have an issue that only 1 of my 2 controllers will work at any given time. As it turns out, whichever class comes first when sorted alphabetically will work properly. The error I get is: handleNoSuchRequestHandlingMethod No matching handler method found for servlet request: path '/polinq.xml', method 'GET', parameters map[[empty]] I had a very simliar message earlier also, except instead of the map being empty it was something like map[v--String(array)] Regardless of the message though, currently the LocationCovgController works and the PolicyInquiryController doesn't. If I change the change of the PolicyInquiryController to APolicyInquiryController, then it will start funcitoning properly and the LocationCovgController will stop working. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.   • Using a checkbox input on a form to send the form data to different email addresses

    I am building a form for a client. Here is the rundown. The form will be used as a request to have a staff member contact the person filling out the form. However, there is a list of staff members that will contact them depending on what the subject matter is. So, I want to create a checkbox input section on the form with each staff person's email address attached to a corresponding checkbox. So, the person filling out the form can check only the staff people necessary for their needs. Finally, when the person clicks "submit", the form will be emailed to only the staff members who were checked in the form. I'm at a loss of how to set this up.

  • Android Apps not working in emulator

    None of my apps work in the emulator. I am running Ubuntu 9.10 and everytime I try to access my UI, the app crashes. All I get is an "Sorry! The application ... has stopped unexpectedly".     In JCR 1 you could do: final InputStream in = zip.getInputStream(zip.getEntry(zipEntryName)); node.setProperty(JcrConstants.JCR_CONTENT, in); But that's deprecated in JCR 2 as detailed at http://www.day.com/maven/jsr170/javadocs/jcr-2.0/javax/jcr/Node.html#setProperty%28java.lang.String,%20java.io.InputStream%29 That says I should be using node.setProperty(String, Binary) but I don't see any way to turn my inputStream into a Binary. Can anyone point me to docs or example code for this?

    Hi, I am trying to display a JLabel which has a few lines of text and an image as follows: String html = "<html> hello </br> <img src = \"/absolute/path/here\" height = \"30\" width =\"40\"/> </html>"; JLabel l = new JLabel(html); For the image all I get is a broken image, is it possible to nest img tags inside a JLabel? EDIT: I want to add multiple images to the JLabel so I don't think the use of an ImageIcon will do here. Thanks

Unmarshal looks like: Unmarshaller u = createAndsetUpUnmarshaller(enableValidation, evtHandler, clazz); return u.unmarshal(new ByteArrayInputStream(stringSource.getBytes())); While marshaling one can format the code via: marshaller.setProperty(Marshaller.JAXB_FORMATTED_OUTPUT, Boolean.TRUE); But this isn´t possible for the unmarchal process... Any idea how I can format the XML string with JAXB during (or after) unmarshal process? BTW: I read some posts here about pretty print, but I want to do it with JAXB!

  • Regarding Toplink Fetching Policy

    Hi, I'm working for a Swing Project and the technologies used are netbeans with Toplink essentials, mysql. The Problem I'm facing is the entity object dosn't get updated after insertions take place while calling a getter collection of the foreign key property. Ex: I have 2 tables Table1,Table2. I have sno column, id column as a primary key in Table1 & is Foreign Key in Table2. Through find method I just get the particular sno object(existed in table 1) set some values persisted to table2 & committed the transaction. When I select the same sno object through find method & gets its collection from Table2 through the getTable2Collection() of the bean(as it is already created in bean by toplink essential) I'm unable to get the latest added record except that all other records of it are displayed. After I close the application & opening it then the new record gets reflected while calling the same sno through the above process. I came to know that this is a kind of lazy fetching and there should be some way of fetch policy to be changed to make the entity object get updated with the changes.     I am using jaxb for my application configurations I feel like I am doing something really crooked and I am looking for a way to not need an actual file or this transaction. As you can see in code I: 1.create a schema into a file from my JaxbContext (from my class annotation actually) 2.set this schema file in order to allow true validation when I unmarshal Schema mySchema = SchemaFactory.newInstance(XMLConstants.W3C_XML_SCHEMA_NS_URI).newSchema(schemaFile); jaxbContext.generateSchema(new MySchemaOutputResolver()); // ultimately creates schemaFile Unmarshaller u = m_context.createUnmarshaller(); u.setSchema(mySchema); u.unmarshal(...); do any of you know how I can validate jaxb without needing to create a schema file that sits in my computer? Do I need to create a schema for validation, it looks redundant when I get it by JaxbContect.generateSchema ? How do you do this?

  • How to ask BeanUtils to ignore null values

    Using Commons beanUtils I would like to know how to ask any converter say the Dateconverter to ignore null values and use null as default. As an example consider a public class, public class X { private Date date1; private String string1; //add public getters and setters } and my convertertest as, public class Apache { @Test public void testSimple() throws Exception { X x1 = new X(), x2 = new X(); x1.setString1("X"); x1.setDate1(null); org.apache.commons.beanutils.BeanUtils.copyProperties(x2, x1); //throws ConversionException System.out.println(x2.getString1()); System.out.println(x2.getDate1()); } } The above throws a NPE since the date happens to be null. This looks a very primitive scenario to me which should be handled by default (as in, I would expect x2 to have null value for date1). The doco tells me that I can ask the converter to do this. Can someone point me as to the best way for doing this ? I dont want to get hold of the Converter and isUseDefault() to be true because then I have to do it for all Date, Enum and many other converters !

  • JAXB - Beans to XSD or XSD to beans?

    I have an existing data model. I would like to express this data model in terms of XML. It looks like I have two options if I'm to use JAXB: Create an XSD that mirrors my data model, and use xjc to create binding objects. Marshalling and unmarshalling will involve creating a "mapping" class that would take my existing data objects and map them to the objects that xjc created. For example, in my data model I have a Doc class, and JAXB would create another Doc class with basically the same exact fields, and I would have to map from my Doc class to xjc's Doc class. Annotate my existing data model with JAXB annotations, and use schemagen to generate an XSD from my annotated classes. I can see advantanges and disadvantages of both approaches. It seems that most people using JAXB start with the XSD file. It makes sense that the XSD should be the gold standard truth, since it expresses the data model in a truly cross-platform way. I'm inclined to start with the XSD first, but it seems icky that I have to write and maintain a separate mapping class that shuttles data in between my world and JAXB world. Any recommendations?

  • Calling one DAO from another DAO?

    Can this ever make sense? Say I need to fetch an object from the DB which has a relation to another object (represented by a foreign key in the DB, and by a composition in my domain object). If in my first DAO I fetch the data for object 1, then call the dao for object 2, and finally (from within the first DAO, call the setter in object 1 and give it the previously fetched object 2). I know I could do a join instead, but it just seems more logical to me to decouple the functionality (which is why I am skeptical about calling one dao from another). Or should I move some of the logic to the service layer? Thanks Update: I think I solved the problem with help from the answers: all I needed to do was add the following to my mapping of Object 1: <one-to-one name="Object2" fetch="join" class="com...Object2"></one-to-one> I didn't have to change anything else.
