    Hi, I am using advanceddatagrid with groupedColumns and summary rows. I have following columns grop. <mx:AdvancedDataGridColumn id="wipId" dataField="wip.aggregatedValue" headerText="WIP"/> <mx:AdvancedDataGridColumn id="closedId" dataField="closed.aggregatedValue"/> <mx:AdvancedDataGridColumn dataField="newevents"/> </mx:AdvancedDataGridColumnGroup> <mx:SummaryRow summaryPlacement="group"> <mx:fields> <mx:SummaryField operation="SUM" dataField="wip.aggregatedValue" /> </mx:fields> </mx:SummaryRow> <mx:SummaryRow summaryPlacement="group"> <mx:fields> <mx:SummaryField operation="SUM" dataField="closed.aggregatedValue" /> </mx:fields> </mx:SummaryRow> <mx:SummaryRow summaryPlacement="group"> <mx:fields> <mx:SummaryField operation="SUM" dataField="newevents" /> </mx:fields> </mx:SummaryRow> So for fields WIP and closedEvents summary row appears zero but for newevents it appears correctly.   • Passing in **kwargs from Flex over PyAMF

    Anyone know if it is easily possible to send **kwargs over PyAMF from NetConnection.call()? I would like it. I could write a wrapper around the actual function and expose that and perform some parsing manually to determine the kwargs to pass in, but I don't want to do that. I will just use a normal argument list in that case.

  • AdvancedDataGrid dynamic text Value Coloring - ItemRenderer problem

    In my AdvancedDataGrid, I am adding dynamic values to cells by dragging a cell value to other cells. While copying, I am setting the value to listData and setting the Red color to the value in ItemRenderer. Everything is working fine, but when I scroll down/up, the values remains in the cells where thay are supposed to be(as I am setting to listData) but the coloring behaves wierd(as I am trying to set the color in ItemRenderer). I don't want to store the color of the value, but I should be able to see the dynamically created values in Red color. Is there a way, I can do this? Do I need to set the color to actual dataprovider object and then check in ItemRenderer?   • Compiling SWC file from FDT

    Hi guys, I've made a library which I'd like to compile to an SWC file, I've tried to do this in FDT by choosing FDT AS3 Library as Run settings, but all I end up with is a 0kb .swc file. Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong? I can't find much when I google it either, if anybody has a quick walkthrough on how to do it saved in your bookmarks or something, that would be great!   • TileGroup does not fill the container

    I put a TileGroup in a BorderContainer and set the width to 100%, but the content in the TileGroup did not fill the parent container, it leaves a big chunk of blank on the right part. The code is: <s:BorderContainer width="100%" height="100%"> <s:TileGroup width="100%" requestedColumnCount="2"> <s:Button> button1 </s:Button> <s:Button> button2 </s:Button> <s:Button> button3 </s:Button> </s:TileGroup> </s:BorderContainer> and the result is like this: http://i.minus.com/iN39P7Us4cBm1.png The width is already set to 100% but it does not work.   • TextArea being used as an itemEditor misbehaves when the enter key is pressed

  • Transitioning from FlexBuilder 3 to FlashBuilder 4 ... there and back again.

    It's growing pains time again. Some of our stuff requires FlashBuilder 4 and some still requires FlexBuilder 3. Both are installed OK, and no projects use both IDEs. The trouble is, when I go back to work on a FlexBuilder 3 project it takes freakin' forever to build and I get weird errors like these: This doesn't seem to cause any identifiable problems except to throw up a modal dialog at various points in the build process, forcing user interaction. But I do notice that memory fills up fast in FB3 and generally FB3 starts behaving strangely and ultimately quits once it gets up over 700MB. This is only a temporary bridge situation until we get all projects into FB4, but "temporary" could mean weeks if not months. Does anyone have any advice for how to get through this bridge period? Is there anything I can do to make these two IDEs work and play well together? Failing that, does anyone know what "java.lang.String" is the "reason" for the problem? Does Eclipse have a resource bundle somewhere that is getting corrupted when i go back and forth between the two?

Somewhere in code i have decalred variable: [Bindable] var nameWin:String = ""; after this i have an e4x statement podContent.xml_m = xml_m.item.(nameWin=="necessary name"); that should compare item's namewin with "necessary name" and return only items whose nameWin matches with "necessary name". xml_m.item: <item> <nameWin>necessary name</nameWin> <nameCol>??????-?????? ???????????</nameCol> <date>2009 ???</date> <summa>259267.7976</summa> </item> <item> <nameWin>unnecessary name</nameWin> <nameCol>??????-?????? ???????????</nameCol> <date>2010 ??????</date> <summa>104.3254</summa> </item> <item> <nameWin>necessary name</nameWin> <nameCol>??????-?????? ???????????</nameCol> <date>2010 ???</date> <summa>21.5174</summa> </item> if I use in statement xml-child distinct of nameWin (summa, e. g.), it works good. But with nameWin, e4x compares local variable nameWin (which not interested for me at all at this time) with "necessary name" instead of compare item's nameWin with "necessary name". Any ideas? Versions of libraries can be reason?

    I have a game with a big raster map Now we are using jpeg (4900x4200) And durring the game we need to scroll through this map. We use the following: Class Map extends mx.containers.Canvas and mx.controls.Image on it In constructor we have: public function Map() { super(); image.source = ResourceManager.interactiveManager.map;//big image addChild(image); ...... } for scrolling we are use: if(parentAsCanvas==null){ parentAsCanvas = (parent as Canvas); } parentAsCanvas.verticalScrollPosition = newX; parentAsCanvas.horizontalScrollPosition = newY; In windows, we have very good performance. In Linux and Mac in flashplayer we have a good performance too. But in browsers performance is quite slow! What can we do to resolve it?
