    What is a standardized alternative to window.location.href function? I was checking on w3schools.com that it is implemented in all major browsers so there's no problem but I'm rather curious how to do that properly.   • Changing Window Title in Interface Builder

    Hi all, I'm new to Objective C and Cocoa - and I'm having a really hard time changing the title on one of my windows. Usually I would press the outside of the window, and then in Window Attributes Inspector there's the title area - however for this particular project it has a name in that box and when I run the application, the title bar still says untitled. Am I missing something? I haven't binded the title to a data source or anything.

    If I want to trigger an error in my interpreter I call this function: Error( ErrorType type, ErrorSeverity severity, const char* msg, int line ); However, with that I can only output Name error: Undefined variable in line 1 instead of Name error: Undefined variable 'someVariableName' in line 1 I'm working entirely with strings (except for the error messages as they all are constant at the moment), so sprintf won't work. What is the best way to create an efficient error function that can output a constant message combined with a string that describes which object, e.g.: a non-existing variable, triggered the error?

  • Stretching DIV to 100% height and width of window but not less than 800x600px

    I have a page that needs to stretch and resize with with window and I've managed to do that but I need that the "inner div" (#pgContent) stretch if the window is resized to higher dimensions but that it doesn't shrink more than, let's say for example 800 x 600 px. As I have it now it stretches well but it also shrinks more than I want! It's working as I want in width but not in height!?     On Page1.aspx...I have the following ...more hiddenFields Page2.aspx would be displayed in a new window and I need to grab the hiddenField values on this page. I can now get it to open in a new window and get those form values. The problem is lnkBtn is repeated in a listview and each link has a different value or id associated with the link. How do I pass in the unique id to Page2.aspx and grab the hiddenField?
