• Spring batch datareader returns extra null object on end of collection of read items?

  I'm using Spring batch - using datareaders to load up lists of items. For each of my readers, they all return an extra null object on the end of the list. Has anybody seen this before? What am I doing wrong?

  I have a C# application with a datagrid in windows form. I need to monitor a directory (am using FileSystemWatcher) and refresh the datagrid with list of files in the directory. I am not sure how I can set up the interface to do so? Calling the monitorDirectory() from the windows-form Load() does not seem to work as Load is called only once in the application. Thanks

  I have small question about pdp-11(simulator), I have this command (it begins from the address 1000) add 2500, #2500 and this initial list: register/address - initial value pc 1000 sp 600 2500 3000 and I want to know how this small snippet exactly runs, in my booklet I found that: firstly it reads inforamtion from the address 1000, inside this address we have value 066727, after we read number from the address 1002, AND VALUE MUST BE 2500(because of add 2500, #2500), but in my booklet I have 1474 without any explanations why, I know that I have here relative addressing mode, but why 1474 inside the address 1002 and not 2500, thanks in advance for any help

• Is there an automatic way to generate a rollback script when inserting data with LINQ2SQL?

  Let's assume we have a bunch of LINQ2SQL InsertOnSubmit statements against a given DataContext. If the SubmitChanges call is successful, is there any way to automatically generate a list of SQL commands (or even LINQ2SQL statements) that would automatically undo everything that was submitted? It's like executing a rollback even though everything worked as expected. Note: The destination database will either be Oracle or SQL Server, so if there is specific functionality for both databases that will achieve this, I'm happy to use that as well.

• No Secure Random Number Generators Available in JDK

  Hi, I am currently running JDK 6 on Windows 7 and have installed the Unlimited Strength Policy Files. I wrote a Java app some time ago which used to work but now fails, giving an error message indicating that the SHA1PRNG SecureRandom is not available. I have tried printing a list of cryptographic providers available on the platform and it would appear that there are no secure random number generators available - does anyone have any idea why this might be? • Problem with GwtUpload on GAE

  I'm using GwtUpload to upload images on GAE. The problem is that the images seem to get much bigger when I move them into a blob. I've noticed the same for simple text fields and in that case I've realised that some weirdo characters are being appended to the end of the field values (encoding right?). Is there any way to use reflection within Visual Studio to make this list 'accessible' sort of like intellisence? However I want to know if it's possible to extract the new resized image's dimensions so that I can add that dynamically to the img tag attributes.
