    I'm trying to get a WPF DataGrid to work from a user control I'm building. Things seems to work fine.     I am using json with unicode text, and having a problem with the IE8 native json implementation. <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <script> var stringified = JSON.stringify("?????? olé"); alert(stringified); </script> Using json2.js or FireFox native json, the alert() string is the same as in the original one. IE8 on the other hand returns Unicode values rather than the original text \u0e2a\u0e27\u0e31\u0e2a\u0e14\u0e35 ol\u00e9 . Is there an easy way to make IE behave like the others, or convert this string to how it should be ? And would you regard this as a bug in IE, I thought native json implementations were supposed to be drop-in identical replacements for json2.js ?

    Hello Im building a new version of an iPhone application and Im wondering if I should review how my app communicates with the server. My iPhone client sends and receives XML over HTTP requests. To send the information I use ASIHTTPRequest framework. I "manually" build the XML request by appending strings. To parse the response Im using a NSXMLParser. My question is if I have better options to A) Create an XML string from a memory object. B) Create a memory object from the XML string. Is there anything like JAXB to marshal XML into object?     Hi I am using an NSSortdescriptor to sort a collection of NSArrays, I then came across a case where the particular NSArray to be sorted contains an NSDictionary who contains an NSDictionary. I would like to sort from the string paired with a key in the last dictionary. This is how I would reference the string: NSDictionary *productDict = [MyArray objectAtIndex:index]; NSString *dealerName = [[productDict objectForKey:@"dealer"] objectForKey:@"name"]; How would I use the dealerName in my NSSortdescriptor to sort the array?   • Simplest way to create a wrapper class around some strings for a WPF DataGrid?

    I'm building a simple hex editor in C#, and I've decided to use each cell in a DataGrid to display a byte*. I know that DataGrid will take a list and display each object in the list as a row, and each of that object's properties as columns. I want to display rows of 16 bytes each, which will require a wrapper with 16 string properties. While doable, it's not the most elegant solution. Is there an easier way? I've already tried creating a wrapper around a public string array of size 16, but that doesn't seem to work. Thanks *The rational for this is that I can have spaces between each byte without having to strip them all out when I want to save my edited file. Also it seems like it'll be easier to label the rows and columns.

I found out the first works for me but i don't know how to put it in an if/else statement.   • Creating an XmlNode/XmlElement in C# without an XmlDocument?

    I have a simple class that essentially just holds some values. I have overridden the ToString() method to return a nice string representation. Now, I want to create a ToXml() method, that will return something like this: <Song> <Artist>Bla</Artist> <Title>Foo</Title> </Song> Of course, I could just use a StringBuilder here, but I would like to return an XmlNode or XmlElement, to be used with XmlDocument.AppendChild. I do not seem to be able to create an XmlElement other than calling XmlDocument.CreateElement, so I wonder if I have just overlooked anything, or if I really either have to pass in either a XmlDocument or ref XmlElement to work with, or have the function return a String that contains the XML I want?

    I tried importing a database dump from a SQL file and the insert failed when inserting the string Mér into a field defined as varying(3). I didn't capture the exact error, but it pointed to that specific value with the constraint of varying(3). Given that I considered this unimportant to what I was doing at the time, I just changed the value to Mer, it worked, and I moved on. Is a varying field with its limit taking into account length of the byte string? What really boggles my mind is that this was dumped from another PostgreSQL database. So it doesn't make sense how a constraint could allow the value to be written initially.

  • Spring mvc: controller returns [][], usable in jsp with foreach, but how to bind?

    I'm building a spring mvc application. Now the problem I have is the following. I have a controller which adds a DayInfo[][] to my ModelMap. (DayInfo has an id, a title (String) and Text(also String). Now the problem I have is that I have no problem displaying this DayInfo[][] with foreach tags in my jsp. However I'm outputting the Title property as an input box(type text), and I'd like to be able to update this value (and thus saving it to be a database but that shouldn't be a problem). However I'm having trouble with binding this value to the input box so that it is actually returned to the controller. If anyone has some advice it would be welcome.

When appending text to a TextBox and InvoveRequired is false the text will display in the box but the next time the function is called and InvokeRequired is true the text string placed by the first call is lost (""). Multiple calls when InvokeRequired is true work as expected. comBox is a type TextBox with multline = true.     I need to make a Function that receives a Session Key and a Session Value and call this function on a normal HTML onClick event. When this function is called the Session variable is assigned the Key I sent with the Value I sent.
