  • INDY WebService over SSL contains link with HTTP protocol instead of HTTPS in WSDL

    When creating new SOAP WebService server project using Delphi XE2 the wizard allows to set change port and HTTPS properties. Port is set to 443, HTTPS flag is checked, but when trying to connect to created server it returns incorrect transport (HTTP instead of HTTPS) in WSDL and generates HTTP links on the Service Info Page. The auto-generated page is not so important, but wrong information in WSDL file is a problem.     I have a Visual Studio 2008 C# .NET 2.0 CF project with an abstract class derived from Component. From that class, I derive several concrete classes (as in my example below). But, when I go to exit my Form, though the Form's Dispose() member is called and components.Dispose() is called, my components are never disposed.     I have a third party tool that creates an img tag through code using HtmlTextWriter's RenderBeginTag, RenderEndTag & AddAttribute methods. I want to get the resulting HTML into a string. I tried the reflection method mentioned here but I get a error "Unable to cast object of type 'System.Web.HttpWriter' to type 'System.IO.StringWriter". The InnerWriter type of the HtmlTextWriter is of type HttpWriter. Any ideas on how to copy the output html into a string?

My main requirement is to dynamically modify the content of a <f:facet>, to change its content. What is the best way to achieve that? Or where is the best place in the code to achieve that? This is working (in fact almost working), but I don't really think that's the better place to achieve my modification. What do you think?     I recently read the source code of couch-db, I find this type definition which i don't understand: -type branch() :: {Key::term(), Value::term(), Tree::term()}. -type path() :: {Start::pos_integer(), branch()}. -type tree() :: [branch()]. I did read Erlang doc, But what is the meaning of Start, Key, Value and Tree? From what i understand, they are Erlang variables! I didn't find any information about this in Erlang doc.

  • Is there a way to get the uid of the other end of a unix socket connection

    Is there a way for a unix socket listener to only accept connection from certain user (chmod/chown does not work for abstract socket afaik), or in another word, get the uid of the incoming connection (on Linux)? Dbus, which uses abstract unix socket on Linux, has a function GetConnectionUnixUser which is used by polkit to determine the caller. So I suppose the dbus-daemon must have a way to do that. Does anyone know how that works? THX

  • Java compiler rejects variable declaration with parameterized inner class

    I have some Groovy code which works fine in the Groovy bytecode compiler, but the Java stub generated by it causes an error in the Java compiler. I think this is probably yet another bug in the Groovy stub generator, but I really can't figure out why the Java compiler doesn't like the generated code. But ProcessingQueueMember is not a raw type as the compiler claims, it is a generic type: private class ProcessingQueueMember <E> extends java.lang.Object implements groovy.lang.GroovyObject { ... I am very confused as to why the compiler thinks that the type Queue<ProcessingQueueMember<T>> is invalid. The Groovy source compiles fine, and the generated Java code looks perfectly correct to me too. What am I missing here? Is it something to do with the fact that the type in question is a nested class? (in case anyone is interested, I have filed this bug report relating to the issue in this question) Edit: Turns out this was indeed a stub compiler bug- this issue is now fixed in 1.8.9, 2.0.4 and 2.1, so if you're still having this issue just upgrade to one of those versions. :)

  • Axis2 Web Service Client Generation - Types without modifying the client

    Is it possible with Axis2 and Eclipse to generate a Web Service client and have it use java types that you already have in packages instead of creating it's own types. Reason being of course if I have type A already created and it creates it's own Type A I can't just assign variable of type A to variable of type B. The wsdl is being generated from a Web Service deployed to an application server. If it's not possible to generate it from that would it be possible to generate a client from the already existing java files.
