• undefined reference linker error

  Hi, I've stuck myself in a c++ project under linux ,for which I get an undefined reference when I try to create an object of a class that I just wrote.I believe this is an linker error caused by the fact that somewhere , somehow I should tell the linker to take into account the new class. I looked at the project properties and at the run command it executes a script (cmake.sh) . Because the project wasn't created by me , and because I'm a novice in working under linux, I just don't know how to direct the linker to do what I expect him to do !

• Drupal Filefield won't upload javascript files?

  Hiya, I've got a site where individual pages might require some javascript or CSS files hooked into their heads. I'm trying to keep everything client side when it comes to managing this process, rather than getting on the FTP and sorting everything out in the code so I need to be able to upload css and js files. I've got CCK filefield up and running, and it works with css files, but it refuses to upload .js files. It instead seems to view every .js as ".js.txt" and then the file appears on the server as thisismyfile.js.txt Not ideal... Does anyone know how to work around this. Is it a mime type problem with Drupal or the server, or is Drupal set up to avoid script uploads and n00b hack attacks. Once the files are uploaded I intend to use PHP mode on the page or node to call drupal_add_css and drupal_add_js.

  I have 4 tables that need to scroll, they are set up as follows: Table1(static) Table2(Horizontal Scrolling) Table3(Vertical Scrolling) Table4(Horizontal and Vertical Scrolling) Table1 Table2 Table3 Table4 The tricky part of this is that Table 3 and 4 need to keep in sync as this is a listing of data broken out into two tables. Table 2 and 4 are in the same situation. Any ideas? No Javascript please as we have a script that works, but it is far too slow to work. Thanks.

  Heya, I need to set up some SET options in Oracle SQLplus command line program each time I use it, such as SET HEADING OFF and the likes to beautify my results. I found that I always have to input each line separately so Set different options and this is becoming annoying since I need to access it many times a day. I found that there's no way to separate different SET commands with semicolumns because it doesn't accept it: SET HEADING OFF; SET LINESIZE 100; returns an error A solution could be adding them to a control script and create a shell alias, but I know control scripts execute and then exit and don't return you control over the command line. So, anybody knows another solution? Or am I missing something?

• making apache and django add a trailing slash

  Hello. My /train directory is aliased to a script in httpd.conf by: WSGIScriptAlias /train /some-path/../django.wsgi And it works well, except for one problem. If a user goes to /train (with no trailing slash) it will not redirect him to /train/, but will just give him the right page. This is a problem because this way the relative links on this page lead to the wrong place when no trailing slash was used to access it. How can this be worked out? Thanks.

  I'm developing a web game in pure Python, and want some simple scripting available to allow for more dynamic game content. Game content can be added live by privileged users. It would be nice if the scripting language could be Python. However, it can't run with access to the environment the game runs on since a malicious user could wreak havoc which would be bad. Is it possible to run sandboxed Python in pure Python? If not, are there any open source script interpreters written in pure Python that I could use? The requirements are support for variables, basic conditionals and function calls (not definitions).

• extract payload from tcpflow output

  Tcpflow outputs a bunch of files, many of which are HTTP responses from a web server. Inside, they contain HTTP headers, including Content-type: , and other important ones. I'm trying to write a script that can extract just the payload data (i.e. image/jpeg; text/html; et al.) and save it to a file [optional: with an appropriate name and file extension]. The EOL chars are \r\n (CRLF) and so this makes it difficult to use in GNU distros (in my experiences). I've been trying something along the lines of: sed /HTTP/,/^$/d To delete all text from the the beginning of HTTP (incl) to the end of \r\n\r\n (incl) but I have found no luck. I'm looking for help from anyone with good experience in sed and/or awk. • Automating custom field creation in Redmine

  I want to write a plugin for redmine that will depend on quite a few custom fields, so I would like to create the custom fields automatically. Ideally within the plugin code, or if not by a script I can run when I install the plugin - I really don't want to have to create 10+ fields through the web interface when I set this up, especially when one is a list with quite a few values. Can anyone tell me if there are standard ways of doing this? Also is there a good way to export the custom fields from an existing installation?

• Will client side performance improve if images/scripts/styles on different subdomains?

  Hi, I have a domain specifically for static content, so cookies don't travel along with requests to images/scripts/css. Now, I think I've read somewhere that most browsers only open one download thread for each domain/subdomain, so different static content can't be downloaded in parallel if on the same domain. Will it make difference for browsers if i place scripts in script.mycdn.com, styles in css.mycdn.com and images in images.mycdn.com? Will it allow to let browser download images at the same time as scripts and styles? mycdn.com is of course a made up name :) Thanks! Andrey

  Hi I have following setup index.html with <div id="container"</div using anchor method I load different html content into this container. My content contains div for modal dialog "dialog-form" and I initialise it with the custom function from the javascript included in index.html on successful ajax load using callback $.get("callback.php",query, function(data){ $("#container").html(data); initPos(); // here we run javascript to initialise modal dialog }); Everything is ok until user click other menu (we load different content) and after that again clicks menu with this modal dialog, so page loads again, we call script again (everything is ok yet), dialog opens, information from the dialog is submitted to server and on sucessful sumbit I want to close the dialog with ('#dialog-form').dialog('close');it worked first time, but no longer works because we initialised this dialog twice and using Firebug I can see two different instances of modal dialog with the same name. So, what is the right way to do the thing? Is there any way to close multiple dialogs with the same name or maybe we can kill all closed modal dialogs when user clicks different menu?

So I am basically trying to emulate robocopy but with minage and maxage going down to the exact time rather than days. Scenario When customer signup at my form, I will 1. insert the customer details into my own database, 2. send them a welcome email from my system, 3. at the same time I want the email to be added into aweber (this should run in the background, so that customer no need to fill in details for second time) If I use the php curl call alone, is it a good solution? I want to submit form value to aweber, so that aweber add the new email into their system, and then response to my backend script?   There is some editor of latex that managed the labels for a multifile document?. I tried with TexMaker and LED, and they offers me suggestions about the labels present in the actual document and in the "Master" document but not the labels present in other files of the structure. I made a script to find those other labels but it will be real good that the suggestions covers all the file structure automatically. Finally i tried with Vim and Latex-Suite, this extension has that posibility but i have problem configuring the grep program despite having followed all the instructions found in their website and in the help files, :(. the structure is like this: document.tex mystyle.sty mybibliography.bib tex/file1.tex tex/file2.tex tex/... img/img1.png img/img2.png . . .

• Is there a way to generate a gitignore from a makefile?

  I have a lot of files such as JavaScript, HTML, and even C and C header (.h) files which are automatically generated, so they appear in the makefile like myfile.js: myfile.js.tmpl etc. I want all of these target files to be ignored by the version control system. I am using git but this question is not git-specific. Is there a utility or a trick which exists to make the ignore file (like .gitignore) from a makefile? (If there isn't such a facility, I can make a script to create one, but before I do that I am just checking I haven't missed some obvious tool or method.)

• Acer aspire 5735z wireless not working after upgrade to 11.10

  I cant get my wifi card to work at all after upgrading to 11.10 Oneiric. I'm not sure where to start to fix this. Ive tried using the additional drivers tool but this shows that no additional drivers are needed. Before my upgrade I had a drivers working for the Rt2860 chipset. • Huge EAR deployment

  Hello all, I'm trying to figure out how to deploy a huge (40-50 MB) EAR file to the server through a rather slow VPN connection. The EAR contains EJB and WAR projects created in Glassfish, and 90% of the file size is from external dependency libraries used. Has anyone came up with a strategy for elegant deployment to production system from Netbeans, where the deployment (over the network) is done only for what is really needed (i.e. just one WAR, not the entire EAR, or just one lib, not the entire libraries subproject). Related to the first point, how to separate external dependency libs from project in Netbeans, so that the project compiles on development machine, but when the EAR/WAR/EJB is created it does not contain all the dependency JARs, which are making it huge.
