• How can I uninstall NetBeans on a mac?

  I currently have NetBeans 6.5 installed on my mac running leopard. I searched Google on how to uninstall it and the NetBeans website says to right click on it, select "Show Package Contents" and the uninstaller should be there, but it isn't. How can I completely uninstall NetBeans in this situation? Thanks!

• disable horizontal scrolling by finger swipe

  This may just be a mac issue, but I have a page with an element which is twice the size of the page and is moved into view dynamically. in my css I have overflow-x:hidden set so that this element won't create an ugly bottom scollbar, the problem is on my laptop (and probably on ipads and other devices) I can just swipe with two fingers to scroll and view this content. This breaks the whole layout and looks really bad, and I am looking for a way to completely disable this horizontal scrolling action with javascript or css. Thank you

  I want to redirect a praticular subdomain to the main domain http(s)://dl.example.com/par1/par2 to http(s)://www.example.com/par1/par2 How to achieve the above using .htaccess Why i want to do this: Whenever any user download a file from my server, if the file is huge , then user cannot do any other operation until the file is downloaded completely...so the solution that i have thought is to forward the download request through subdomain so that the browser may continue with rest of the operation. • Niceforms radio buttons are shown on wrong position

  When i am using Niceforms the normal text inputs and buttons work great and i even managed to get a custom theme for them based on the provided sample psd. But when i use radiobuttons/checkboxes, they get shown some where completely different than the labels. This happens consistently on FF,Chrome and Safari. As soon as i put any positioning css (a float:left or even a ) in the page the radiobuttons break.

• Why is my site displaying differently In Firefox than in Safari?

  I manage a website called ShareDen.com (http://shareden.com/home) and it looks the right way in Mozilla Firefox and it's totally completely discombobulated in Safari. I Haven't tested it in other broswer's (still in process) however my guess is it looks horrible in IE 8. Could it be because I just added the CSS Sticky Footer to my site?   I want to use multiset to count some custom defined keys. The keys are not comparable numerically, comparing two keys does not mean anything, but their equality can be checked. I see that multiset template wants a Compare to order the multiset. The order is not important to me, only the counts are important. If I omit Compare completely what happens? Does multiset work without any problems for my custom keys?

  I am drawing an grid-work of objects in a Panel. when I scroll the the panel quickly I get a flicker. I thought that enabling the double buffering may take care of this but what I find is that it does not completely draw everything and I am left with blank sections. could anyone give me suggestions as to what may be happening and how I might correct it. UPDATE: I found that I was creating the graphics object with Creategraphics() rather than using the Parameter in the paint method

• Showing fields as readonly in Edit Form of List Item in SharePoint

  I have a list which has 5 columns in it. Some of these fields help the user fill in the data but I don't want the user to modify these fields. I have tried changing the field to readonly but that ends up hiding the field completely from the form. Is there a way to get the field to render out to the form as just text? Maybe I need to use javascript to disable the fields programmatically - would prefer not to go down that route though..

I have tried a couple of things, but cannot either get the values to be anything other than 0 or 1, or the K element is completely wrong (showing up as a negative number).
