  • Setting ItemTemplate based on CheckBox value

    - by ph0enix
I have a DataTemplate which contains a CheckBox and ListBox. When the CheckBox is checked, I want to change the ItemTemplate property on the ListBox to change the appearance of each item. Right now, it looks like this: <DataTemplate DataType={x:Type MyViewModel}> <DockPanel> <CheckBox DockPanel.Dock="Bottom" Content="Show Details" HorizontalAlignment="Right" IsChecked="{Binding ShowDetails}" Margin="0 5 10 5" /> <ListBox ItemsSource="{Binding Items}" ItemTemplate="{StaticResource SimpleItemTemplate}" Margin="10 0 10 5"> <ListBox.Triggers> <DataTrigger Binding="{Binding ShowDetails}" Value="True"> <Setter Property="ItemTemplate" Value="{StaticResource DetailedItemTemplate}" /> </DataTrigger> </ListBox.Triggers> </ListBox> </DockPanel> </DataTemplate> However, when I try to compile, I get the following error messages: Value 'ItemTemplate' cannot be assigned to property 'Property'. Invalid PropertyDescriptor value. and Cannot find the static member 'ItemTemplateProperty' on the type 'ContentPresenter'. I'm still fairly new to WPF, so perhaps there is something I'm not quite understanding?

  • How to prevent the floating layout wrapping when firefox zoom is reduced

    - by Dmitri Zhuchkov
    Given the following HTML. It display two columns: #left, #right. Both are fixed width and have 1px borders. Width and borders equal the size of upper container: #wrap. When I zoom out Firefox 3.5.2 by pressing Ctrl+- columns get wrapped (demo). How to prevent this? <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <title>Test</title> <style type="text/css"> div {float:left} #wrap {width:960px} #left, #right {width:478px;border:1px solid} </style> </head> <body> <div id="wrap"> <div id="left"> left </div> <div id="right"> right </div> </div> </body> </html>

  • Sys is undefined

    - by James
I have an ASP.Net/AJAX control kit project that i am working on. 80% of the time there is no problem. The page runs as it should. If you refresh the page it will sometimes show a javascript error "Sys is undefined". It doesn't happen all the time, but it is reproducible. When it happens, the user has to shut down their browser and reopen the page. This leads me to believe that it could be an IIS setting. Another note. I looked at the page source both when I get the error, and when not. When the page throws errors the following code is missing: <script src="/ScriptResource.axd?d=EAvfjPfYejDh0Z2Zq5zTR_TXqL0DgVcj_h1wz8cst6uXazNiprV1LnAGq3uL8N2vRbpXu46VsAMFGSgpfovx9_cO8tpy2so6Qm_0HXVGg_Y1&amp;t=baeb8cc" type="text/javascript"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> //<![CDATA[ if (typeof(Sys) === 'undefined') throw new Error('ASP.NET Ajax client-side framework failed to load.'); //]]> </script>

  • How do I compress a Json result from ASP.NET MVC with IIS 7.5

    - by Gareth Saul
I'm having difficulty making IIS 7 correctly compress a Json result from ASP.NET MVC. I've enabled static and dynamic compression in IIS. I can verify with Fiddler that normal text/html and similar records are compressed. Viewing the request, the accept-encoding gzip header is present. The response has the mimetype "application/json", but is not compressed. I've identified that the issue appears to relate to the MimeType. When I include mimeType="*/*", I can see that the response is correctly gzipped. How can I get IIS to compress WITHOUT using a wildcard mimeType? I assume that this issue has something to do with the way that ASP.NET MVC generates content type headers. The CPU usage is well below the dynamic throttling threshold. When I examine the trace logs from IIS, I can see that it fails to compress due to not finding a matching mime type. <httpCompression directory="%SystemDrive%\inetpub\temp\IIS Temporary Compressed Files" noCompressionForProxies="false"> <scheme name="gzip" dll="%Windir%\system32\inetsrv\gzip.dll" /> <dynamicTypes> <add mimeType="text/*" enabled="true" /> <add mimeType="message/*" enabled="true" /> <add mimeType="application/x-javascript" enabled="true" /> <add mimeType="application/json" enabled="true" /> </dynamicTypes> <staticTypes> <add mimeType="text/*" enabled="true" /> <add mimeType="message/*" enabled="true" /> <add mimeType="application/x-javascript" enabled="true" /> <add mimeType="application/atom+xml" enabled="true" /> <add mimeType="application/xaml+xml" enabled="true" /> <add mimeType="application/json" enabled="true" /> </staticTypes> </httpCompression>

  • GAE AttributeError

    - by awegawef
My GAE app runs fine from my computer, but when I upload it, I start getting an AttributeError, specifically: AttributeError: 'dict' object has no attribute 'item' I am using the pylast interface (an API for last.fm--link). Specifically, I am accessing a list of variables of this type: SimilarItem = _namedtuple("SimilarItem", ["item", "match"]) I have a variable of this type, call it sim, and I am trying to access sim.item when I get the attribute error. I should note that I am using Python 2.6 on my computer, and I understand that GAE runs on Python 2.5. Would that make a difference here? I thought they were backwards-compatible. Lastly, I think it could be a possible problem with the modules that pylast imports--maybe they don't work with GAE or something? I did some research but I didn't get any results. Here are the imports: import hashlib import httplib import urllib import threading from xml.dom import minidom import xml.dom import time import shelve import tempfile import sys import htmlentitydefs I would appreciate any help with this frustrating issue. Thanks in advance.

  • Environment variable in xcconfig won't expand in Settings.bundle/Root.plist

    - by AO
    I have defined my own environment variable in a .xcconfig file and based my configurations on that as described at http://www.silverchairsolutions.com/blog/2008/03/automating-cocoa-deployments-with-sparkle-and-xcode. My environment variable is indeed expanded in Info.plist but not in my Settings.bundle/Root.plist. Why won't it expand there? Root.plist looks like this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>Title</key> <string>${PRODUCT_NAME}</string> <key>PreferenceSpecifiers</key> <array> <dict> <key>DefaultValue</key> <string>${PRODUCT_NAME}</string> <key>Key</key> <string>version</string> <key>Title</key> <string>Version</string> <key>Type</key> <string>PSTitleValueSpecifier</string> </dict> <dict> <key>DefaultValue</key> <string></string> <key>Key</key> <string>atc</string> <key>Title</key> <string>ATC</string> <key>Type</key> <string>PSTitleValueSpecifier</string> </dict> </array>

  • Having trouble setting up API call using array of parameters

    - by Josh
    I am building a class to send API calls to Rapidshare and return the results of said call. Here's how I want the call to be done: $rs = new rs(); $params = array( 'sub' => 'listfiles_v1', 'type' => 'prem', 'login' => '10347455', 'password' => 'not_real_pass', 'realfolder' => '0', 'fields' => 'filename,downloads,size', ); print_r($rs->apiCall($params)); And here's the class so far: class RS { var $baseUrl = 'http://api.rapidshare.com/cgi-bin/rsapi.cgi?sub='; function apiCall($params) { $newUrl = $baseUrl; $keys = array_keys($params); $count = count($params); for($i = 0; $i < $count; $i++) { $newUrl .= $keys[$i]; $newUrl .= '&'; $newUrl .= $params[$keys[$i]]; } return $newUrl; } } Obviously i'm returning $newUrl and using print_r() to test the query string, and this is what it comes out as with the code shown above: sub&listfiles_v1type&premlogin&10347455password&_not_real_passrealfolder&0fields&filename,downloads,size When it should be: http://api.rapidshare.com/cgi-bin/rsapi.cgi?sub=listfiles_v1&type=prem&login=10347455&password=not_real_pass&realfolder=0&fields=filename,downloads,size Hopefully you can see what I'm trying to do here :P It's probably a silly mistake that I'm failing to find or a logical error. Thanks in advance.

  • drupal_add_css not working

    - by hfidgen
Hiya, I need to use drupal_add_css to call stylesheets onto single D6 pages. I don't want to edit the main theme stylesheet as there will be a set of individual pages which all need completely new styles - the main sheet would be massive if i put it all in there. My solution was to edit the page in PHP editor mode and do this: <?php drupal_add_css("/styles/file1.css", "theme"); ?> <div id="newPageContent">stuff here in html</div> But when i view source, there is nothing there! Not even a broken css link or anything, it's just refusing to add the css sheet to the css package put into the page head. Variations don't seem to work either: drupal_add_css($path = '/styles/file1.css', $type = 'module', $media = 'all', $preprocess = TRUE) My template header looks like this, i've not changed anything from the default other than adding a custom JS. <head> <?php print $head ?> <title><?php print $head_title ?></title> <?php print $styles ?> <?php print $scripts ?> <script type="text/javascript" src="<?php print base_path() ?>misc/askme.js"></script> <!--[if lt IE 7]> <?php print phptemplate_get_ie_styles(); ?> <![endif]--> </head> Can anyone think of a reason why this function is not working? Thanks!

  • jQuery: loading reCaptcha into a div via ajax

    - by abdullah kahraman
Hello, I want to create a form that has a div with id "captcha". When the user enters a wrong password, following code is generated in "login.php" $myCaptcha=recaptcha_get_html($publickey, $error); $xml="<captcha><![CDATA[".$myCaptcha ."]]></captcha>"; echo $xml; recaptcha_get_html($publickey, $error); generates this: <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.google.com/recaptcha/api/challenge?k=xxxx"></script> <noscript> <iframe src="http://www.google.com/recaptcha/api/noscript?k=xxxx" height="300" width="500" frameborder="0"></iframe><br/> <textarea name="recaptcha_challenge_field" rows="3" cols="40"></textarea> <input type="hidden" name="recaptcha_response_field" value="manual_challenge"/> </noscript> I want to get this code with $.post() and insert it into div "captcha". Doing something like this: $.post("login.php", {requestCaptcha:"yes"}, function(returned){ $("#captcha").html($(returned).text(),"xml"); }); In IE, it does nothing. In Chrome, it clears up whole page and there is only the called reCaptcha script working like a charm. Any ideas?

  • HTML5 for IE6.0

Hello! Do you know any method to optimize this HTML Code to IE6 or 7 (or 8) without adding any HTML elements, or the IE is skipping all the HTML5 elements? If i just want to format elements with CSS, - i dont want to use other features - is the document.createElement("nav") DOM element create enough to scam IE and make a plain HTML document? <!DOCTYPE HTML> <head> <meta charset="UTF-8"> <title>title</title> <link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="reset.css"> <link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="style.css"> </head> <body> <header>code of header</header> <nav> code of nav </nav> <section> code of gallery </section> <article> code of article </article> <footer>code of footer</footer> </body> </html> Thank you.

  • Explicit script end tag always converted to self-closing

    - by Jonas
I'm using xslt to transform xml to an aspx file. In the xslt, I have a script tag to include a jquery.js file. To get it to work with IE, the script tag must have an explicit closing tag. For some reason, this doesn't work with xslt below. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:msxsl="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xslt" exclude-result-prefixes="msxsl" xmlns:asp="remove"> <xsl:output method="html"/> <xsl:template match="/"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <title>TEST</title> <script type="text/javascript" src="jquery-1.2.6.js"></script> But if I change the script tag as shown below, it works. <script type="text/javascript" src="jquery-1.2.6.js"> // <![CDATA[ // ]]> </script> I thought that the <xsl:output method="html" /> would do the trick, but it doesn't seem to work? /Jonas

  • Can't get past "A potentially dangerous Request.Form value was detected..." error

    - by joshb
    I'm doing my first ASP.NET MVC2 project and I can't get past the "A potentially dangerous Request.Form value was detected..." error when trying to submit a form. I've done this in MVC1 using the ValidateInputAttribute and I've read about the breaking change in .NET 4 that requires setting the request validation mode in the web.config. Basically I'm doing exactly what is outlined in this thread: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2019843/a-potentially-dangerous-request-form-value-in-mvc-2-asp-net-4-0. Nothing's working though so I must be missing something. Here's my code: Web.config <configuration> <system.web> <httpHandlers> <add path="*" verb="*" type="System.Web.HttpNotFoundHandler"/> </httpHandlers> <httpRuntime requestValidationMode="2.0" /> <pages validateRequest="true" pageParserFilterType="System.Web.Mvc.ViewTypeParserFilter, System.Web.Mvc, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31BF3856AD364E35" pageBaseType="System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage, System.Web.Mvc, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31BF3856AD364E35" userControlBaseType="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl, System.Web.Mvc, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31BF3856AD364E35"> <controls> <add assembly="System.Web.Mvc, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31BF3856AD364E35" namespace="System.Web.Mvc" tagPrefix="mvc" /> </controls> </pages> </system.web> <system.webServer> <validation validateIntegratedModeConfiguration="false" /> <handlers> <remove name="BlockViewHandler"/> <add name="BlockViewHandler" path="*" verb="*" preCondition="integratedMode" type="System.Web.HttpNotFoundHandler" /> </handlers> </system.webServer> </configuration> Controller action [AcceptVerbs(HttpVerbs.Post)] [ValidateInput(false)] public ActionResult Edit(Page pageToEdit) { // do stuff.... } Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong here?

  • MVC 2.0 - JqGrid Sorting with Mulitple Tables

    - by Billy Logan
I am in the process of implementing the jqGrid and would like to be able to use the sorting functionality. I have run into some issues with sorting columns that are related to the base table. Here is the script to load the grid: public JsonResult GetData(GridSettings grid) { try { using (IWE dataContext = new IWE()) { var query = dataContext.LKTYPE.Include("VWEPICORCATEGORY").AsQueryable(); ////sorting query = query.OrderBy<LKTYPE>(grid.SortColumn, grid.SortOrder); //count var count = query.Count(); //paging var data = query.Skip((grid.PageIndex - 1) * grid.PageSize).Take(grid.PageSize).ToArray(); //converting in grid format var result = new { total = (int)Math.Ceiling((double)count / grid.PageSize), page = grid.PageIndex, records = count, rows = (from host in data select new { TYPE_ID = host.TYPE_ID, TYPE = host.TYPE, CR_ACTIVE = host.CR_ACTIVE, description = host.VWEPICORCATEGORY.description }).ToArray() }; return Json(result, JsonRequestBehavior.AllowGet); } } catch (Exception ex) { //send the error email ExceptionPolicy.HandleException(ex, "Exception Policy"); } //have to return something if there is an issue return Json(""); } As you can see the description field is a part of the related table("VWEPICORCATEGORY") and the order by is targeted at LKTYPE. I am trying to figure out how exactly one goes about sorting that particular field or maybe even a better way to implement this grid using multiple tables and it's sorting functionality. Thanks in advance, Billy

  • Why is PHP not allowing comparison?

    - by dcp3450
I'm using PHP to read if an entry in my table on the database is set to "yes" or "no" and auto check the radio button that corresponds: <?php include 'file.php'; $query = "SELECT * FROM TABLE"; $runquery = odbc_exec($connect,$query); $status= odbc_result($runquery,"status"); odbc_close($file); ?> <form> <div class="formContainer"> <fieldset> <legend>Campus Alert<span class="tooltip">Turn campus alert on and off.</span></legend> <?php echo $status; ?> Yes <input type="radio" name="alertStatus" id="alertStatus" value="yes" <?php if($status== "yes") echo "checked";?>> No <input type="radio" name="alertStatus" id="alertStatus" value="no" <?php if($status== "no") echo "checked";?>> </fieldset> </div> the is for debugging so I can make sure what the database says and the form's reaction is correct. It prints "yes" (no quotes). However, the if statement will not respond. Any idea why it's doing this?

  • Pros and cons of making database IDs consistent and "readable"

    - by gmale
Question Is it a good rule of thumb for database IDs to be "meaningless?" Conversely, are there significant benefits from having IDs structured in a way where they can be recognized at a glance? What are the pros and cons? Background I just had a debate with my coworkers about the consistency of the IDs in our database. We have a data-driven application that leverages spring so that we rarely ever have to change code. That means, if there's a problem, a data change is usually the solution. My argument was that by making IDs consistent and readable, we save ourselves significant time and headaches, long term. Once the IDs are set, they don't have to change often and if done right, future changes won't be difficult. My coworkers position was that IDs should never matter. Encoding information into the ID violates DB design policies and keeping them orderly requires extra work that, "we don't have time for." I can't find anything online to support either position. So I'm turning to all the gurus here at SA! Example Imagine this simplified list of database records representing food in a grocery store, the first set represents data that has meaning encoded in the IDs, while the second does not: ID's with meaning: Type 1 Fruit 2 Veggie Product 101 Apple 102 Banana 103 Orange 201 Lettuce 202 Onion 203 Carrot Location 41 Aisle four top shelf 42 Aisle four bottom shelf 51 Aisle five top shelf 52 Aisle five bottom shelf ProductLocation 10141 Apple on aisle four top shelf 10241 Banana on aisle four top shelf //just by reading the ids, it's easy to recongnize that these are both Fruit on Aisle 4 ID's without meaning: Type 1 Fruit 2 Veggie Product 1 Apple 2 Banana 3 Orange 4 Lettuce 5 Onion 6 Carrot Location 1 Aisle four top shelf 2 Aisle four bottom shelf 3 Aisle five top shelf 4 Aisle five bottom shelf ProductLocation 1 Apple on aisle four top shelf 2 Banana on aisle four top shelf //given the IDs, it's harder to see that these are both fruit on aisle 4 Summary What are the pros and cons of keeping IDs readable and consistent? Which approach do you generally prefer and why? Is there an accepted industry best-practice?

In my web.config file I have the following tag telling the Chart Control where I can store the Temp Files: <add key="ChartImageHandler" value="storage=file;timeout=20;dir=c:\TempImageFiles\;" /> Below is the warning message produced by the control: Event code: 3005 Event message: An unhandled exception has occurred. Event time: 10/7/2009 2:40:03 PM Event time (UTC): 10/7/2009 2:40:03 PM Event ID: 237c3b208962429e8bbc5a48ffd177f0 Event sequence: 2860 Event occurrence: 26 Event detail code: 0 Application information: Application domain: /LM/W3SVC/2/ROOT-1-128993655360497729 Trust level: Full Application Virtual Path: / Application Path: C:\data\sites\mydomain.com\ Machine name: 231692-WEB Process information: Process ID: 4068 Process name: w3wp.exe Account name: NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE Exception information: Exception type: ArgumentException Exception message: The image is not found. Is this a 64bit issue? Thanks, Rich

  • Get Mechanize to handle cookies from an arbitrary POST (to log into a website programmatically)

    - by Horace Loeb
I want to log into https://www.t-mobile.com/ programmatically. My first idea was to use Mechanize to submit the login form: However, it turns out that this isn't even a real form. Instead, when you click "Log in" some javascript grabs the values of the fields, creates a new form dynamically, and submits it. "Log in" button HTML: <button onclick="handleLogin(); return false;" class="btnBlue" id="myTMobile-login"><span>Log in</span></button> The handleLogin() function: function handleLogin() { if (ValidateMsisdnPassword()) { // client-side form validation logic var a = document.createElement("FORM"); a.name = "form1"; a.method = "POST"; a.action = mytmoUrl; // defined elsewhere as https://my.t-mobile.com/Login/LoginController.aspx var c = document.createElement("INPUT"); c.type = "HIDDEN"; c.value = document.getElementById("myTMobile-phone").value; // the value of the phone number input field c.name = "txtMSISDN"; a.appendChild(c); var b = document.createElement("INPUT"); b.type = "HIDDEN"; b.value = document.getElementById("myTMobile-password").value; // the value of the password input field b.name = "txtPassword"; a.appendChild(b); document.body.appendChild(a); a.submit(); return true } else { return false } } I could simulate this form submission by POSTing the form data to https://my.t-mobile.com/Login/LoginController.aspx with Net::HTTP#post_form, but I don't know how to get the resultant cookie into Mechanize so I can continue to scrape the UI available when I'm logged in. Any ideas?

  • Why doesn't onkeydown working properly on IE?

    - by Fabian
    function checkEnter(event) { var charcode; if (event && event.which) { charcode = event.which; alert("Case 1. event.which is " + charcode); } else if (event && !event.which) { charcode = event.keyCode; alert("Case 2. event.keyCode is " + charcode); } document.getElementById("text1").value=""; } <input type="text" id="text1" onkeyup="checkEnter(event)" /> The above function works on both IE7 and Chrome. function checkKeyPressed() { document.onkeydown = function(event) { var charcode; if (event && event.which) { charcode = event.which; alert("charcode is " + charcode); } else if (event && !event.which) { charcode = event.keyCode; alert("charcode (keyCode) is " + charcode); } } } <input type="button" id="button1" onclick="checkKeyPressed(event)" value="Button" /> However this one works only in Chrome. Any idea why?
