  • Is it possible to post to Facebook application Wall via JavaScript?

    I have a Canvas Facebook app embedded via an iframe. I would like to include a feedback link which would encourage the user to leave a comment that would be added to the Application wall - this comment would open like a standard FB modal window. Is there anyway to post to to the Application Wall directly via JS? Everything I have found such as FB.Connect.StreamPublish(), only publishes to the users stream, I need to publish to the application stream. Thanks!

    I have a column in one of my table where I store multiple ids seperated by comma's. Is there a way in which I can use this column's value in the "IN" clause of a query. The column(city) has values like 6,7,8,16,21,2 I need to use as Select * from table where e_ID in (Select city from locations where e_Id=?) I am satisfied with Crozin's answer, but I am open to suggestions, views and options. Feel free to share your views.

  • How can I match a match a null byte (0x00) in the Visual Studio binary editor with a find using a re

    Open a file in the Visual Studio binary editor that contains a null byte (0x00), then use the Quick Find feature (Ctrl +F) to find null bytes. I would have thought I could use a regular expression such as \x00 to match null bytes but it doesn't work. Searching for any other hex value using this method works fine. Is this a VS bug, 'feature', or am I just missing something? Is there a work around?

For each row, I need it's 3 previous rows and 3 next rows for some requirement. while(($data = fgetcsv($handle, 5000, ",")) !== FALSE) { //$data is current row data //I need previous rows and next rows data } I don't know how to try this, as each while iterate will be having the current row's information. Is there anything we can achieve this within the fgetcsv loop? I am also open for other alternatives for this problem.

But if it gets onto the device (also with access to the target network) I receive the 101 Network Error. And as far as I have read, this is due to the "Same-Origin Policy" of XmlHttpRequests? My problem is to really understand that. Although the idea of this policy is clear to me, I'm a bit confused by the fact that another XmlHttpRequest for a Yahoo Weather XML Feed works fine. Now, could anyone be so helpful to enlighten me?     I have a legacy application that I'm trying to interact with from a browser. The only supported method from the application vendor is by using a DDEPoke request. I'm having difficulty figuring out a simple way to perform such a request from a browser. I am open to any particular technology, be it javascript, a browser plugin, ActiveX/Java Applet, etc - the simpler the solution the better. Does anyone have a simple solution for this?
