Sure, Intel is inside the box, but did you know sometimes Intel is the box? Here are five servers that the company best known for its chips sells to OEMs and other resellers. Is one of these right for you?
<b>Howtoforge:</b> "People probably know about memcached (http://memcached.org/) and its high performance name-value based memory object cache interface. Its main purpose is to provide an easy to use distributed caching engine in a multinode environment."
Hey,
We copied all our files to a new storage server recently. We didn't want to move at the time becuase we werent sure if files would get lost.
The problem now is that we have files on both places! How can we move only the files that does not exists in the target and for those that exists in both places we delete it from the source? it is windows server 2008
Thanks
I have an Hp/Compaq laptop, intel, 2 processors, using 64 bit.
I want to install Java 5 SDK, I see references to AMD 64 bit, I am assuming that is different from intel?
Is there a Java 5 sdk for my environment?
This Yahoo-led effort powers more than 400 TB of traffic per day, joining six other projects that have now been elevated to the top level of the Apache open source software project hierarchy.
Welcome to the home page for my new book. Come back soon for a sample chapter....Did you know that DotNetSlackers also publishes .net articles written by top known .net Authors? We already have over 80 articles in several categories including Silverlight. Take a look: here.

Few mail servers have been presented as Exchange alternatives as long as GMS has. In its most most recent release Gordano added a document management system and various other functionality. We test drive the Linux version on an Intel box.
<b>Serverwatch:</b> "The Apache Software Foundation runs its open source projects on a hierarchy of principally three levels, top-level projects (TLPs), sub-projects and incubated projects. Achieving the TLP status is a major milestone for an open source effort and this week Apache announced that six projects were being graduated to TLP status."
By validating the IO path before commissioning the production database system, and performing ongoing validation through page checksums and DBCC checks, you can hopefully avoid data corruption altogether, or at least nip it in the bud. If corruption occurs, then you have to take the right decisions fast to deal with it. Rod Colledge explains how a pessimistic mindset can be an advantage...Did you know that DotNetSlackers also publishes .net articles written by top known .net Authors? We have a SQL server running SQL 2005 Workgroup 64 bit (9.0.4273), on Windows 2003 server 64 bit.
We have run sp_configure and reconfigured the server which indicates that the clr is now enabled.
exec sp_configure 'clr enabled', '1'
go
reconfigure
go
However, when trying to call CREATE ASSEMBLY the server completely dies on us and we have to do a full reboot of the machine.
A little more diagnostic information, even though clr enabled is set to 1 and we have rebooted the full server, running the following statement
select * from sys.dm_clr_properties
returns
directory
version
state locked CLR version with mscoree
which is what it says when the CLR is not enabled on another machine.
On a correctly enabled machine (after reboot) this function reads
directory C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\
version v2.0.50727
state CLR is initialized
