• How do I Set PATH in /etc/profile.d?

  I'm using zsh as my shell, and I'm trying to configure my environment. I usually define my $JAVA_HOME variable by creating a file: /etc/profile.d/java.sh with the following content export JAVA_HOME=/path/to/jdk export PATH=$JAVA_HOME/bin:$PATH then I logout and back in, and it all works, but for some reason the PATH variable is not set. It recognizes JAVA_HOME, but not the new PATH, see this terminal snippet: ~ echo $JAVA_HOME /usr/lib/jvm/jdk1.8.0_05 ~ echo $PATH /usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games:/usr/local/games and I confirmed it by trying to run a command form the jvm ~ java -version zsh: command not found: java the PATH doesn't include the $JAVA_HOME as it should. is there something else I should check? EDIT I have checked that if I run source /etc/profile.d/java.sh it all runs correctly and my variables get set as they should, but shouldn't the scripts in /etc/profile.d run automatically?

• Revert permission of /usr back to root

  I was doing some alterations but in one I messed up. I changed the permissions of almost everything inside the /usr folder to my own user. It didn't change everything because it failed in the middle of the execution, I still have /sbin, /share and /src assigned to root. the command I ran was this (this was executed while inside /usr): sudo chown -R myuser:myuser . Is there any way for me to revert this? If I run: sudo chown -R root:root . I get this error: sudo: /usr/bin/sudo must be owned by uid 0 and have the setuid bit set

• mysql select from a table depending on in which table the data is in

  I have 3 tables holding products for a restaurant. Products that reside in the bar, food and ingredients. I use php and mysql. I have another table that holds information about the orders that have been made so far. There are 2 fields, the most important ones, that hold information about the id of the product and the type (from the bar, from the kitchen or from the ingredients). I was thinking to write the sql query like below to use either the table for bar products, kitchen or ingredients but it doesn't work. Basically the second table on join must be either "bar", "produse" or "stoc".   I'm trying to paste the values from a textbox in form1 to textbox in form2. I did that, but while i upgraded my aplication it stopped to work. • SetInterval missing property in js class

  I wrote simple class in JS witch works, but i had problem when i try use setInterval with it. Ex. if i do something like that ball = new ball(5,10,0, '#canvas'); ball.draw(); ball.draw(); ball.draw(); ball.draw(); It works.
