    I have a small website where some content is displayed within a HTML tag using AJAX. The content is simply taken from another page on the same web site. However, sometimes instead of loading the parsed PHP file, the browser displays a download box instead. I downloaded the file and this is what it looks like a text file mixed with binary or gzipped data.   • Apache Errordocument (custom 503 page) works intermittently

    We have Apache 2.2 running on Windows 2k3 and 2k8 R2 as a reverse proxy to downstream applications. Some of these applications may go offline during off-peak hours so we've implemented a custom 503 page like so: ErrorDocument 503 /error/serverTimeout.html ErrorDocument 504 /error/serverTimeout.html (the error directory is in Apaches's htdocs folder) If I make these changes, restart apache and then access the down application on firefox I see the custom page as expected. I then access it using my IE browser, it also works. If I close my IE browser and access it again, I get Apache's standard "Service Temporarily Unavailable" message instead of my custom page. Once I receive the standard error message, I never get the custom page again until I restart Apache. I've put the server on debug and I can't see any difference between the requests which return the custom error page and the requests which return the standard error message. Is there some weird proxy setting which is messing with the errordocument configuration? Any ideas?

    On my laptop doesn't work any camera. I get error: "Camera being used by another application"". I don`t known which program using it. I tried use software like "SplitCam" or "ManyCam". Also I reinstalled K-lite codec to newest, but still getting this error. I get the same error when I turn my Canon video camera to laptop using firewire cable.   • Android: Custom ListAdapter extending BaseAdapter crashes on application launch.

    Data being pulled from a local DB, then mapped using a cursor. Custom Adapter displays data similar to a ListView. As items are added/deleted from the DB, the adapter is supposed to refresh.   • Treetop basic parsing and regular expression usage

    I'm developing a script using the ruby Treetop library and having issues working with its syntax for regex's. First off, many regular expressions that work in other settings dont work the same in treetop. This is my grammar: (myline.treetop) grammar MyLine rule line string whitespace condition end rule string [\S]* end rule whitespace [\s]* end rule condition "new" / "old" / "used" end end This is my usage: (usage.rb) require 'rubygems' require 'treetop' require 'polyglot' require 'myline' parser = MyLineParser.new p parser.parse("randomstring new") This should find the word new for sure and it does! Now I wont to extend it so that it can find new if the input string becomes "randomstring anotherstring new yetanother andanother" and possibly have any number of strings followed by whitespace (tab included) before and after the regex for rule condition. In other words, if I pass it any sentence with the word "new" etc in it, it should be able to match it. So let's say I change my grammar to: rule line string whitespace condition whitespace string end Then, it should be able to find a match for: p parser.parse("randomstring new anotherstring") So, what do I have to do to allow the string whitespace to be repeated before and after condition? If I try to write this: rule line (string whitespace)* condition (whitespace string)* end , it goes in an infinite loop. If i replace the above () with [], it returns nil In general, regex's return a match when i use the above, but treetop regex's dont. Does anyone have any tips/points on how to go about this? Plus, since there isn't much documentation for treetop and the examples are either too trivial or too complex, is there anyone who knows a more thorough documentation/guide for treetop?

    I'm working in c# doing some OCR work and have extracted the text I need to work with. Now I need to parse a line using Regular Expressions. string checkNum; string routingNum; string accountNum; Regex regEx = new Regex(@"\u9288\d+\u9288"); Match match = regEx.Match(numbers); if (match.Success) checkNum = match.Value.Remove(0, 1).Remove(match.Value.Length - 1, 1); regEx = new Regex(@"\u9286\d{9}\u9286"); match = regEx.Match(numbers); if(match.Success) routingNum = match.Value.Remove(0, 1).Remove(match.Value.Length - 1, 1); regEx = new Regex(@"\d{10}\u9288"); match = regEx.Match(numbers); if (match.Success) accountNum = match.Value.Remove(match.Value.Length - 1, 1); The problem is that the string contains the necessary unicode characters when I do a .ToCharArray() and inspect the contents of the string, but it never seems to recognize the unicode characters when I parse the string looking for them. I thought strings in C# were unicode by default.

But as far as I know this is a temporary alias and it lives until you close the terminal. As it is explained here to save alias permanently I need to execute ~/.bash_aliases or ~/.bashrc commands in terminal and add my alias there. But when I execute ~/.bashrc I get following error message : bash: /home/bakhtiyor/.bashrc: Permission denied When I run ~/.bash_aliases I get another error message like this: bash: /home/bakhtiyor/.bash_aliases: File or directory doesn't exist. What is the actual problem and how can I solve it?

    Occasionally, I receive unwanted emails, particularly low-volume spam, or email messages falsely addressed to me (possibly due to typos). I don't want to spend the energy to write a personal message, but I do want to let the sender know that the message never arrived at its destination, and that resending it will be useless. In my opinion, a delivery error message to the sender will fill that need. So, the question is if there is an easy way to send error messages back to the sender. Is there any email client out there which supports sending delivery failure messages as a reply to incoming email -- ideally in one click? (Or, which can be configured to do so?) Alternatively, what is the best way to set up an environment that allows me to send delivery failure messages without too much effort per message sent?

    I just discovered some lovely code in our companies app that uses Try-Catch blocks as logical operators. Meaning, "do some code, if that throws this error, do this code, but if that throws this error do this 3rd thing instead". It uses "Finally" as the "else" statement it appears. I know that this is wrong inherently, but before I go picking a fight I was hoping for some well thought out arguments. And hey, if you have arguments FOR the use of Try-Catch in this manner, please do tell. EDIT For any who are wondering, the language is C# and the code in question is about 30+ lines and is looking for specific exceptions, it is not handling ALL exceptions.
