    Hi, I just came across an issue, where I had to check if a path points into a windows share. Part of this problem is to check if host A is the same as host B. Where host A and host B can be one of the following {IPv4-Address, IPv6-Address, Hostname, FQDN}. As I do not need to be exact it's enough to resolve and compare the IP-Addresses in my case. But is there, theoretically, a method to check if the hosts are the same?

    I have the following piece of code in my controller def index session[:previous_url] = URI(request.referer).path if session[:previous_uri] != new_path redirect_to registration_path(id: current_user.associate_username) end end However this does not actually work and i get a bad URI error. I just want to check if the request came from a particular page and if not redirect it to another page. I would also like to know if there is a better way for doing this?.Thank you

  • Is it bad to use a model directly from a view in codeigniter?

    I know normally the data is passed thru to the view with the controller. however, currently in my view I load my model ($this-load-model('Db_model');) so i can use it in a loop to retrieve a users profile picture path from a array of IDs that is passed from controller. Will loading the db model in the view to accomplish this make my site more vulnerable or bad form? To me it seems to be outside of MVC concept but its working atm. thanks

    I added it from existing files JSON floder and also added the framework and import the "JSON/JSON.h". After that while running apps, It is giving three erros that is no such files, they are #import "SBJSON.h" #import "NSObject+SBJSON.h" #import "NSString+SBJSON.h" When i select framework, Two of the files containing in it Headers and PrivateHeaders is red in colour.     What my app here basically does is it captures a photo or import from gallery, and when the Upload button is pressed, the image will be uploaded to a localhost server. Before I implemented AsyncTask into the process, it doesn't have any problem uploading whatsoever. Now that I've put AsyncTask, everything went wrong.     So here is my code if (!File.Exists(pathName)) { File.Create(pathName); } StreamWriter outputFile = new StreamWriter(pathName,true); But whenever I run the program the first time the path with file gets created. However once I get to the StreamWriter line my program crashes because it says my fie is in use by another process. Is there something I'm missing between the File.Create and the StreamWriter statements?

I've read somewehre that I might need a virtual path to the image folder but I am not really sure what that means as my chart is embedded in the report....Maybe I am missing something.
