  • WPF: Change the style of a ViewBox depending upon the amount of data

    - by Brett Rigby
    Hi there, I have a WPF app that has a ViewBox to display the items in my collection, diplaying a 2-column grid for my results. What I'd like to do is, depending on the number of items in my collection, change the number of columns. E.g if there are < 10 items in the list, then show them in just 1 column; If there are 10 items in my list, then show them in 2 columns; If there are 20 items in my list, then show 3 columns. Here's what I have at present: <Viewbox> <ItemsControl ItemsSource="{Binding myCollection}" Style="{DynamicResource myStyle}" /> </Viewbox> Here's what myStyle currently defines: <Style x:Key="myStyle" TargetType="{x:Type ItemsControl}"> <Setter Property=ItemsControl.ItemsPanel"> <Setter.Value> <ItemsPanelTemplate> <UniformGrid Columns="2" /> </ItemsPanelTemplate> </Setter.Value> </Setter> </Style> How can I make this code work to the above requirement? Thanks.

  • ASP.NET Content Web Form - content from placeholder disappears

    - by Naeem Sarfraz
    I'm attempting to set a class on the body tag in my asp.net site which uses a master page and content web forms. I simply want to be able to do this by adding a bodycssclass property (see below) to the content web form page directive. It works through the solution below but when i attempt to view Default.aspx the Content1 control loses its content. Any ideas why? Here is how I'm doing it. I have a master page with the following content: <%@ Master Language="C#" ... %> <html><head>...</head> <body id=ctlBody runat=server> <asp:ContentPlaceHolder ID="cphMain" runat="server" /> </body> </html> it's code behind looks like: public partial class Site : MasterPageBase { public override string BodyCssClass { get { return ctlBody.Attributes["class"]; } set { ctlBody.Attributes["class"] = value; } } } it inherits from: public abstract class MasterPageBase : MasterPage { public abstract string BodyCssClass { get; set; } } my default.aspx is defined as: <%@ Page Title="..." [master page definition etc..] bodycssclass="home" %> <asp:Content ID="Content1" ContentPlaceHolderID="cphMain" runat="server"> Some content </asp:Content> the code behind for this file looks like: public partial class Default : PageBase { ... } and it inherits from : public class PageBase : Page { public string BodyCssClass { get { MasterPageBase mpbCurrent = this.Master as MasterPageBase; return mpbCurrent.BodyCssClass; } set { MasterPageBase mpbCurrent = this.Master as MasterPageBase; mpbCurrent.BodyCssClass = value; } } }

  • sencha dataitem datamap setItems

    - by user1795667
    I'm trying to follow the kitten example given here http://www.sencha.com/blog/dive-into-dataview-with-sencha-touch-2-beta-2#comment_form and I have complex components in which one of the property of my data is a list of objects. And I do find a method for setting a list of objects which is setItems however it does not seem to work. My object array is my model MyApp.Model.Sponsor. Could anyone suggest what I'm missing to get this working? Ext.define('MyListItem', { extend: 'Ext.dataview.component.DataItem', requires: ['Ext.Button','Ext.Img', 'MyApp.model.Sponsors', 'MyApp.model.Sponsor'], xtype: 'mylistitem', config: { sponsor: true, dataMap: { getSponsor: { setItems: 'sponsor' } } }, applySponsor: function(config) { // I put an alert here to see if I get getSponsor() but the object I get here is undefined alert(this.getSponsor()); return Ext.factory(config, MyApp.model.Sponsor, this.getSponsor()); }, updateSponsor: function(newNameButton, oldNameButton) { if (oldNameButton) { this.remove(oldNameButton); } if (newNameButton) { this.add(newNameButton); } }, onSponsorTap: function(button, e) { var sponsors = record.get('sponsor'); //my specific action } }); Ext.define('MyApp.model.Sponsors', { extend: 'Ext.data.Model', xtype:'Sponsors_m', config: { fields: [ {name: 'level', type: 'auto'}, {name: 'id', type: 'int'}, {name: 'sponsor', type: 'Sponsor'} ] } }); Ext.define('MyApp.model.Sponsor', { extend: 'Ext.data.Model', xtype:'Sponsor_m', config: { fields: [ {name: 'name', type: 'auto'}, {name: 'image', type: 'auto'}, {name: 'url', type: 'auto'}, {name: 'description', type: 'auto'} ] } });

  • Limit the number of service calls in a RESTful application

    - by Slavo
    Imagine some kind of a banking application, with a screen to create accounts. Each Account has a Currency and a Bank as a property, Currency being a separate class, as well as Bank. The code might look something like this: public class Account { public Currency Currency { get; set; } public Bank Bank { get; set; } } public class Currency { public string Code { get; set; } public string Name { get; set; } } public class Bank { public string Name { get; set; } public string Country { get; set; } } According to the REST design principles, each resource in the application should have its own service, and each service should have methods that map nicely to the HTTP verbs. So in our case, we have an AccountService, CurrencyService and BankService. In the screen for creating an account, we have some UI to select the bank from a list of banks, and to select a currency from a list of currencies. Imagine it is a web application, and those lists are dropdowns. This means that one dropdown is populated from the CurrencyService and one from the BankService. What this means is that when we open the screen for creating an account, we need to make two service calls to two different services. If that screen is not by itself on a page, there might be more service calls from the same page, impacting the performance. Is this normal in such an application? If not, how can it be avoided? How can the design be modified without going away from REST?

  • deserialize Json using JavaScriptSerializer Custom Types

    - by Dave
    I have a RESTFUL WCF service returning a .NET custom type as json string. I am using .NET 3.5 framework and I am using JavaScriptSerializer for deserializing it in to my custom type. Serialization to json is handled by WCF. using (WebResponse resp = req.GetResponse()) { using (System.IO.StreamReader sreader = new System.IO.StreamReader(resp.GetResponseStream())) { string jsonString = sreader.ReadToEnd(); CustomType myType = new CustomType(); System.Web.Script.Serialization.JavaScriptSerializer serializer = new System.Web.Script.Serialization.JavaScriptSerializer(); myType = serializer.Deserialize<CustomType>(jsonString); return myType; } } The problem is that, I have a property (or element) of the CustomType which is generic list of another custom type ChildObject. They are in different namespaces. When I deserialize using the code above, I get all the properties of the CustomType myType including a list of ChildObject. But all the properties of the ChildObject is null. The string returned from the stream reader has all the values for the ChildObject. the values are lost when deserializing. Can anyone help me with this please?

  • Draw a column graph with no space between columns

    - by Andrew Shepherd
    I am using the WPF toolkit, and am trying to render a graph that looks like a histogram. In particular, I want each column to be right up against each other column. There should be no gaps between columns. There are a number of components that you apply when creating a column graph. (See example XAML below). Does anybody know if there is a property you can set on one of the elements which refers to the width of the white space between columns? <charting:Chart Height="600" Width="Auto" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" Name="MyChart" Title="Column Graph" LegendTitle="Legend"> <charting:ColumnSeries Name="theColumnSeries" Title="Series A" IndependentValueBinding="{Binding Path=Name}" DependentValueBinding="{Binding Path=Population}" Margin="0" > </charting:ColumnSeries> <charting:Chart.Axes> <charting:LinearAxis Orientation="Y" Minimum="200000" Maximum="2500000" ShowGridLines="True" /> <charting:CategoryAxis Name="chartCategoryAxis" /> </charting:Chart.Axes> </charting:Chart>

  • Silverlight TemplateBinding to RotateTransform

    - by Trog Dog
    I am trying to create the simplest Silverlight templated control, and I can't seem to get TemplateBinding to work on the Angle property of a RotateTransform. Here's the ControlTemplate from generic.xaml: <ControlTemplate TargetType="local:CtlKnob"> <Grid x:Name="grid" RenderTransformOrigin="0.5,0.5"> <Grid.RenderTransform> <TransformGroup> <RotateTransform Angle="{TemplateBinding Angle}"/> <!-- This does not work --> <!-- <RotateTransform Angle="70"/> --> <!-- This works --> </TransformGroup> </Grid.RenderTransform> <Ellipse Stroke="#FFB70404" StrokeThickness="19"/> <Ellipse Stroke="White" StrokeThickness="2" Height="16" VerticalAlignment="Top" HorizontalAlignment="Center" Width="16" Margin="0,2,0,0"/> </Grid> </ControlTemplate> Here's the C#: using System.Windows; using System.Windows.Controls; namespace CtlKnob { public class CtlKnob : Control { public CtlKnob() { this.DefaultStyleKey = typeof(CtlKnob); } public static readonly DependencyProperty AngleProperty = DependencyProperty.Register("Angle", typeof(double), typeof(CtlKnob), null); public double Angle { get { return (double)GetValue(AngleProperty); } set { SetValue(AngleProperty,value); } } } }

  • Spring-hibernate mapping problem

    - by James
    I have a spring-hibernate application which is failing to map an object properly: basically I have 2 domain objects, a Post and a User. The semantics are that every Post has 1 corresponding User. The Post domain object looks roughly as follows: class Post { private int pId; private String attribute; ... private User user; //getters and setters here } As you can see, Post contains a reference to User. When I load a Post object, I want to corresponding User object to be loaded (lazily - only when its needed). My mapping looks as follows: <class name="com...Post" table="post"> <id name="pId" column="PostId" /> <property name="attribute" column="Attribute" type="java.lang.String" /> <one-to-one name="User" fetch="join" class="com...User"></one-to-one> </class> And of course I have a basic mapping for User set up. As far as my table schema is concerned, I have a table called post with a foreign UserId which links to the user table. I thought this setup should work, BUT when I load a page that forces the lazy loading of the User object, I notice the following Hiberate query being generated: Select ... from post this_ left outer join user user2_ on this.PostId=user2_.UserId ... Obviously this is wrong: it should be joining UserId from post with UserId from user, but instead its incorrectly joining PostId from post (its primary key) with UserId from user. Any ideas? Thanks!

  • Create win task to run once and delete immediately using C#

    - by pencilslate
    Here is the use case: - Create a new win task, run immediately and once complete, delete the task. Here is basic code to create a task using C#. using (TaskService ts = new TaskService(null)) { string projectName = "runnowtest" + Guid.NewGuid().ToString(); //create new task TaskDefinition td = ts.NewTask(); Trigger mt = null; //setup task as Registration trigger mt = td.Triggers.AddNew(TaskTriggerType.Registration); mt.StartBoundary = DateTime.Now; //delete the task 1 minute after the program ends td.Settings.DeleteExpiredTaskAfter = new TimeSpan(0, 1, 0); //run the notepad++ in the task td.Actions.Add(new ExecAction("notepad.exe")); //register task Task output = ts.RootFolder.RegisterTaskDefinition(projectName, td); //check output Console.WriteLine(output != null ? "Task created" : "Task not created"); } The API doesn't seem to have a property/flag to mark task as run once. I am trying to ensure the above task runs only once and deletes immediately after that. Any thoughts are much appreciated!

  • Jetty startup delay

    - by Tauren
    I'm trying to figure out what would be causing a 1 minute delay in the startup of Jetty. Is it a configuration problem, my application, or something else? I have Jetty 7 (jetty-7.0.1.v20091125 25 November 2009) installed on a server and I deploy a 45MB ROOT.war file into the webapps directory. This is the only webapp configured in Jetty. I then start Jetty with the command: java -DSTOP.PORT=8079 -DSTOP.KEY=mystopkey -Denv=stage -jar start.jar etc/jetty-logging.xml etc/jetty.xml & I get two lines of output right after doing this: 2010-03-07 14:20:06.642:INFO::Logging to StdErrLog::DEBUG=false via org.eclipse.jetty.util.log.StdErrLog 2010-03-07 14:20:06.710:INFO::Redirecting stderr/stdout to /home/zing/jetty-distribution-7.0.1.v20091125/logs/2010_03_07.stderrout.log When I press the enter key, I get my command prompt back. Looking at the log file (logs/2010_03_07.stderrout.log), I see the following at the beginning: 2010-03-07 14:08:50.396:INFO::jetty-7.0.1.v20091125 2010-03-07 14:08:50.495:INFO::Extract jar:file:/home/zing/jetty-distribution-7.0.1.v20091125/webapps/ROOT.war!/ to /tmp/Jetty_0_0_0_0_8080_ROOT.war___.8te0nm/webapp 2010-03-07 14:08:52.599:INFO::NO JSP Support for , did not find org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServlet 2010-03-07 14:09:51.379:INFO::Set web app root system property: 'webapp.root' = [/tmp/Jetty_0_0_0_0_8080_ROOT.war___.8te0nm/webapp] 2010-03-07 14:09:51.585:INFO::Initializing Spring root WebApplicationContext INFO - ContextLoader - Root WebApplicationContext: initialization started INFO - XmlWebApplicationContext - Refreshing Root WebApplicationContext: startup date [Sun Mar 07 14:09:51 PST 2010]; root of context hierarchy ... It doesn't even look like it has started my Spring initialization yet. Note that I checked my /tmp directory to see if it was simply the time to unpack my war file, but the file had been completely unpacked even at the start of this 1 minute delay.

  • Nested multithread operations tracing

    - by Sinix
    I've a code alike void ExecuteTraced(Action a, string message) { TraceOpStart(message); a(); TraceOpEnd(message); } The callback (a) could call ExecuteTraced again, and, in some cases, asynchronously (via ThreadPool, BeginInvoke, PLINQ etc, so I've no ability to explicitly mark operation scope). I want to trace all operation nested (even if they perform asynchronously). So, I need the ability to get last traced operation inside logical call context (there may be a lot of concurrent threads, so it's impossible to use lastTraced static field). There're CallContext.LogicalGetData and CallContext.LogicalSetData, but unfortunately, LogicalCallContext propagates changes back to the parent context as EndInvoke() called. Even worse, this may occure at any moment if EndInvoke() was called async. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/883486/endinvoke-changes-current-callcontext-why Also, there is Trace.CorrelationManager, but it based on CallContext and have all the same troubles. There's a workaround: use the CallContext.HostContext property which does not propagates back as async operation ended. Also, it does'nt clone, so the value should be immutable - not a problem. Though, it's used by HttpContext and so, workaround is not usable in Asp.Net apps. The only way I see is to wrap HostContext (if not mine) or entire LogicalCallContext into dynamic and dispatch all calls beside last traced operation. Help, please!

  • shortest digest of a string

    - by meta
    [Description] Given a string of char type, find a shortest digest, which is defined as: a shortest sub-string which contains all the characters in the original string. [Example] A = "aaabedacd" B = "bedac" is the answer. [My solution] Define an integer table with 256 elements, which is used to record the occurring times for each kind of character in the current sub-string. Scan the whole string, statistic the total kinds of character in the given string by using the above table. Use two pointers, start, end, which are initially pointing to the start and (start + 1) of the given string. The current kinds of character is 1. Expand sub-string[start, end) at the end until it contains all kinds of character. Update the shortest digest if possible. Contract sub-string[start, end] at the start by one character each time, try to restore its digest property if necessary by step 4. The time cost is O(n), and the extra space cost is constant. Any better solution without extra space?

  • PHP PCRE differences on testing and hosting servers

    - by Gary Pearman
    Hi all, I've got the following regular expression that works fine on my testing server, but just returns an empty string on my hosted server. $text = preg_replace('~[^\\pL\d]+~u', $use, $text); Now I'm pretty sure this comes down to the hosting server version of PCRE not being compiled with Unicode property support enabled. The differences in the two versions are as follows: My server: PCRE version 7.8 2008-09-05 Compiled with UTF-8 support Unicode properties support Newline sequence is LF \R matches all Unicode newlines Internal link size = 2 POSIX malloc threshold = 10 Default match limit = 10000000 Default recursion depth limit = 10000000 Match recursion uses stack Hosting server: PCRE version 4.5 01-December-2003 Compiled with UTF-8 support Newline character is LF Internal link size = 2 POSIX malloc threshold = 10 Default match limit = 10000000 Match recursion uses stack Also note that the version on the hosting server (the same version PHP is compiled against) is pretty old. What confuses me though, is that pcretest fails on both servers from the command line with re> ~[^\\pL\d]+~u ** Unknown option 'u' although this regexp works fine when run from PHP on my server. So, I guess my questions are does the regular expression fail on the hosting server because of the lack of Unicode properties? Or is there something else that I'm missing? Thanks all, Gaz.

  • Jackson XML globally set element name for container types

    - by maxenglander
    I'm using Jackson 1.9.2 with the XML databind module. I need to tweak the way that Jackson serializes arrays, lists, collections. By default, with an int array property called myProperty containing a couple numbers, Jackson / XML is producing the following: <myProperty> <myProperty>1</myProperty> <myProperty>2</myProperty> </myProperty> What I need to produce is: <myProperty> <item>1</item> <item>2</item> </myProperty> I can do this on a per-POJO basis using a combination of JacksonXmlElementWrapper and JacksonXmlProperty like so: @JacksonXmlElementWrapper(localname='myProperty') @JacksonXmlProperty(localname='item') public int[] myProperty; This solution, however, would require that I manually apply these annotations to every array, list, collection in my POJOs. A much better solution would allow me to apply a solution once, globally, for all array, list, collection types. Any ideas on how to implement such a solution? Thanks!

  • UINavigationController placement problem

    - by Chonch
    Hey, I'm having this problem and I can't seem to figure out why! I want to use a UINavigationController, but I don't want to use it through out the entire application. So, in the UIViewController I was to add it to, I define: UINavigationController *navigationController; and the @property, @synthesize and dealloc. In the viewDidLoad method, I add: navigationController = [[UINavigationController alloc] init]; navigationController.navigationBar.barStyle = UIBarStyleBlack; and when the relevant UIViewController is loaded, I add: [navigationController pushViewController:viewController animated:NO]; and make the old view disappear and the UINavigationController's view to appear. Everything works fine except that the navigation bar appears about 20pixels too low (dragging the entire view down and out of the screen). If I set the UINavigationController's view frame parameter manually to start at 0,0, it jumps there, but only after about a second, so that you can see the navigation bar starting at a certain location and only then jumping to another (and it is ugly!). I have done the exact same thing in the past and had no problem with it. Does anyone know what may cause this? Thanks,

  • How do I create a UISplitView manually?

    - by Mark
    I have an app that is going to navigate to a UISplitView (inside another view altogether) like so: - (void) switchToMyDayView { NSLog(@"Show My Day Screen"); if (self.myDayController.view.superview == nil) { if (self.myDayController == nil) { MyDayController *myController = [[MyDayController alloc] initWithNibName:@"MyDay" bundle:nil]; self.myDayController = myController; [myController release]; } [homeScreenController.view removeFromSuperview]; [self.view insertSubview:self.myDayController.view atIndex:0]; } } Which is done on the main navigation screen Now, the MyDayController has a XIB called MyDay.xib which has these items: File's Owner: MyDayController First Responder: UIResponder Split View Controller ---->Navigation Controller ---->Navigation Bar ----> Table View Controller ----> Navigation Item ---->View Controller So, I need some more components here, I need a UITableViewController and a UISplitViewControllerDelegate correct? I was going to just implement these protocols in my MyDayController, is this sort of standard? So, after the code above, I get an error: -[UIViewController _loadViewFromNibNamed:bundle:] loaded the "MyDay" nib but the view outlet was not set. so, how can I fix it using the UISplitViewController? I know that the UISplitViewController has a view property, but I cannot use it/connect it up in IB can I? Thanks a lot Mark

  • refering Tomcat JNDI datasource in persistence.xml

    - by binary_runner
    in server.xml I've defined global resource (I'm using Tomcat 6): <GlobalNamingResources> <Resource name="jdbc/myds" auth="Container" type="javax.sql.DataSource" maxActive="10" maxIdle="3" maxWait="10000" username="sa" password="" driverClassName="org.h2.Driver" url="jdbc:h2:~/.myds/data/db" /> </GlobalNamingResources> I see in catalina.out that this is bound, so I suppose it's OK. In my web app I have the link to the datasource, I'm not sure it's OK: <Context> <ResourceLink global='jdbc/myds' name='jdbc/myds' type="javax.sql.Datasource"/> </Context> and in application there is persistence.xml : <persistence xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/persistence" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/persistence http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/persistence/persistence_2_0.xsd" version="2.0"> <persistence-unit name="oam" transaction-type="RESOURCE_LOCAL"> <provider>org.hibernate.ejb.HibernatePersistence</provider> <non-jta-data-source>jdbc/myds</non-jta-data-source> <!-- class definitions here, nothing else --> <properties> <property name="hibernate.dialect" value="org.hibernate.dialect.H2Dialect"/> </properties> </persistence-unit> </persistence> It shuld be OK, but most probably this or the ResourceLink definition is wrong because I'm getting: javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: Name jdbc is not bound in this Context What's wrong and why this does not work ?

  • WPF DataGrid inside Accordion height issue

    - by LucasS
    I am using the latest WPF Toolkit but am running into a height issue when I have a large record set bound into a datagrid inside an AccordionItem item. The height of the Accordion itself scales nicely but the datagrid inside the accordion control doesn't get get a scrollbar or get constrained in any way so the records are hidden. I know that I am most probably missing something very simple (like a binding from the datagrid's height property to the Accordion but that seems messy) here is a cut down version of the code (and yes, this has the same problem if you bind in a big recordset) ... </layouttoolkit:AccordionItem> <layouttoolkit:AccordionItem Header="grid 2"> <dg:DataGrid AutoGenerateColumns="False" CanUserAddRows="False" CanUserDeleteRows="False" SelectionMode="Single"> ... </dg:DataGrid.Columns> </dg:DataGrid> </layouttoolkit:AccordionItem> <layouttoolkit:AccordionItem Header="grid 3"> <dg:DataGrid AutoGenerateColumns="False" CanUserAddRows="False" CanUserDeleteRows="False" SelectionMode="Single"> ... </dg:DataGrid.Columns> </dg:DataGrid> </layouttoolkit:AccordionItem> </layouttoolkit:Accordion> </UserControl>

  • Binding to WPF ViewModel properties

  • ASP.NET MVC - Data Annotations - Why add a default RequiredAttribute?

    - by redsquare
    Can anyone explain why it is assumed that a non nullable type property should always have a RequiredAttribue? I am trying to write a label helper that will auto append * or change the css class so that I can indicate to the user that the field is required. However when querying the metadata the non nullable properties end up with a required attribute. MVC Source Code: protected override IEnumerable<ModelValidator> GetValidators( ModelMetadata metadata, ControllerContext context, IEnumerable<Attribute> attributes) { _adaptersLock.EnterReadLock(); try { List<ModelValidator> results = new List<ModelValidator>(); if (metadata.IsRequired && !attributes.Any(a => a is RequiredAttribute)) { //******* Why Do this? attributes = attributes.Concat(new[] { new RequiredAttribute() }); } foreach (ValidationAttribute attribute in attributes.OfType<ValidationAttribute>()) { DataAnnotationsModelValidationFactory factory; if (!_adapters.TryGetValue(attribute.GetType(), out factory)) factory = _defaultFactory; results.Add(factory(metadata, context, attribute)); } return results; } finally { _adaptersLock.ExitReadLock(); } }

  • Facebook Connect iPhone API logout not working

    - by Hunter Bridges
    I am attempting to write a Facebook integration in an iPhone app I'm working on. I have it logging in just fine, but I don't like the idea of being able to turn a feature on without being able to turn it off. So, in working on the logout functionality, I have been caught in a snag. - (IBAction) logoutClicked:(id)sender { if (fbLoggedIn) { FBSession * mySession = [FBSession session]; [mySession logout]; } } - (void)sessionDidLogout:(FBSession*)session { NSLog(@"Session logged out."); [theLoginButton setTitle:@"Facebook Time!" forState:UIControlStateNormal]; fbLoggedIn = FALSE; theLogoutButton.enabled = NO; theLogoutButton.alpha = 0; } The logoutClicked method responds to a button in my xib. The delegate method is not getting called. I have tried setting the Facebook session as a property in my ViewController in order to store/access the data across methods, but that didn't seem to work either. Anybody have any solutions?

  • Problem with response.redirect sending incorrect HTTPMethod

    - by Andy Macnaughton-Jones
    Hi, I've got a strange problem with a Response.Redirect. I'm using VB.NET with the .NET 2 framework (so VS2005 & SP1). I've got a page that I do a form submit on (that's a proper form method="POST" hard-coded onto the page) and that properly posts me back the page data which is then processed. As part of that processing the system determines if we need to get sent to another URL after processing has been complete. So the request.httpmethod = "POST". So if the "GotoPage" parameter has a URL specified we then do a response.redirect(URL, false). (False as we want page processing to complete in order to write some timing logs etc). The page correctly redirects but instead of the response having a "GET" as the request.httpmethod it has a "POST" instead ! Now, we're using our own custom framework so that we use the HTTPRequest method to determine if a page has been posted back or is being "Getted" so the "IsPagePostBack" property doesn't work (that only works when you're using the normal .NET controls and form submissions). In all other instances our code works happily but what might be causing the Request.httpMethod to not be being set correctly ? I've tried doing a response.clear before the redirect in case headers are being written out before hand but to no avail. Any clues ?! thanks, Andy
