    I use jquery's .submit() to intercept user's submit event, however I found a problem. When the user single click the submit button, the form is submitted normally, but if a user deliberately fast click it multiple times, it will submit multiple times, which will cause duplicated data in the database. What's the solution for this kind of problem ?

Create a Web page that allows a user to enter a purchase price into a text box - include a JavaScript function that calculates shipping and handling. Add functionality to the script that adds a minimum shipping and handling fee of $1.50 for any purchase that is less than or equal to $25.00. For any orders over $25.00, add 10% to the total purchase price for shipping and handling, but do not include the $1.50 minimum shipping and handling fee. After you determine the total cost of the order (purchase plus shipping and handling), display it in an alert dialog box. I am beginner at JavaScript and struggling to get my code to work. It does display an alert box with the value entered by the user but doesn't add anything. Although, I don't know why the formula doesn't work.     Often, but not always, the first few clicks on the "Allow" button on the Flash camera permissions dialog are ignored. This is very frustrating for users. And for me, when I'm testing code! I'm afraid I don't really know what else to say about the problem to give more insight. My hunch is that it has something to do with getting focus on the embed element, but that is merely a guess.     I have a JTable that stores the results of a database query, so far so good. What I want is for the last column in each table to have a clickible JButton that will open the edit screen for the object represented in that row, and that means the button will need to know the details of the first column in the table from its own row (the ID from the database). Any advice? I already tried just adding JButtons but they turned into Text when I tried to run it.

  • AVAudioPlayer lag when calling play

    I have set up an AVAudioPlayer object in viewDidLoad, as per the Apple guidelines, calling prepareToPlay as the last line in viewDidLoad (i have tried in awakeFromNib also). When i press my play button, there is a pause, as it would appear to load the file, then it plays. In audioPlayerDidFinishPlaying, i reload the player with a different sound, and when clicking play for a second time, the file plays instantly. What would cause the player to lag on the first play?
